It didn't help me make one ounce of more or better music. It’s cute and fun to collect for, but it didn't inspire as much as it just made me work. TO BE CLEAR, Antelope sent me the interface, but I MADE SURE that I was able to say ANYTHING I wanted, they didn't pay me to say anything nor did money exchange hands and if they had I would have outright refused :DBehind the scenes as a music producer I've been searching for an interface that I felt matched my music making experience perfectly (You've seen this if you've followed me on Twitter). Within in the last year I've purchased the Audient ID14mkII, and the Presonus Studio 192, BOTH had limitations and issues that would consistently break my creative flow. When I'm working on music it just need to flow on emotion and pure creative juices. I finally think I've found the interface to live with for a LONG time. It's been a struggle since between my interface and Ferrofish converters this is the heart of my studio and it needs to work flawlessly so I can deliver projects ON TIME (I gotta eat lol) My honest thought on the Discrete 8 Pro Synergy core is that compared to the competition the D8Pro wipes the floor with the likes of UA, there no subscription for plugins, I tried out the 4K bus comp compared to the SSL Native Bus Comp and it's definitely better in my experience. All that said, the most important thing to me is the dynamic range on the outputs, and 130db is insane! I tweaked the resonance reeeeeeal high, to scare off rodents so be warned, it was a one take as I said. The Subharmonicon is inspiring to say the least.*Moog isn't like a lot of other companies that try and get me to work with them. They don't need to approve my videos before they're released, they don't ask for content in exchange for gear, they just allowed me to be creative and so here is what you get. I thank them very much for sharing it with me, as you know I don't work with many companies for various reasons (and cause I'm a selfish POS who doesn't like most gear.)The story goes like this....long ago, in a far away secret place I was shown the Moog Subharmonicon......andI WAS BLOWN AWAY.
