This means that you can only use +0 weapons, staffs and seals. However you can be at whatever level you you want, meaning you can use whatever build you want. However keep the spirit of a no upgrades run in mind. It might be cool to you that you found a way to make a boss implode with your +0 weapon but, this will take away from the fun of others.I'm sure that once we get into the late game areas things like stacking multiple status effects and percentage based damage will become very relevant due to the immense scaling of the bosses healthpools. Can I Beat Dark Souls 2 as a Jump Kicking Mimic? Normally it only does damage to yourself, but if you do it after a roll, it has a hitbox that can damage enemies as well.
