So, there's this thing going around. [You can check it out here - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oxRpX8vYDhk ] After watching a few videos, I was greatly inspired. So much so that I immediately started working on this without checking to see if anyone else had done Eilonwy. So, with ten seconds left to finish, I decide to go back and look. What do you know, someone's already done Eilonwy. I felt really bad, but I'd worked so hard that I figured I couldn't let it go to waste. I might make a backup vid and post that one instead, but I'm proud of this one, so it'll be my entry for now.

Edit: If it's not clear in the video, Eilonwy can channel the powers of spirits around her. Benevolent spirits allow her to heal injuries and defend herself. Malevolent spirits allow her to use more offensive skills. If the spirit is too powerful, Eilonwy blacks out and it takes over her body until she wakes up. The reason Eilonwy is afraid of using her power is that she's worried that she could get more than she can handle and never wake up again. [I chose to do it this way to give me a way to make her swing from good to evil if I ever chose to play it like that. Nothing like a little leg room for your creativity!]

And I swear Facilier factors into the main story later. I know he seems random right now, but all will be revealed in time.

Also, I'd like your opinion of the red sparkle-ish effect. Does it work? Is it unnecessary? Let me know!

Of course, this video also makes my stance on this whole "taboo vs. anti-taboo" argument/war/whatever you want to call it. I support the taboo side [obviously or this vid wouldn't exist], but I've been laying low during this whole thing, watching how it all unfolds. It's really killing me seeing this community being torn apart when I've only just joined it. I'm not blaming Shade, and I'm not picking a fight. In fact, I'm still subscribed to Shade and other vidders who oppose taboo. I respect their opinions and their work too much to throw it away with the push of a virtual button. I just want to make my vids in peace, as I'm sure many others do.

Actually, it took me a long time to decide to even put up this preview because of all the backlash lately. I had to actually think about whether I wanted to put my hard work out for people to see. And you know what? It's totally worth it. This one 40 second vid could cost me subscribers in the future, but I really don't care. I may never get another subscriber again. But I made this, and I was taught to always be proud of my accomplishments.

There. That's my two cents. I'd really love it if this topic wouldn't take over the comments section, but I know that's too much to ask, so I'll just tell you guys to be civil. Any blatant attempts to start a fight from either side will be deleted. This is up for your opinion and input on my work, not to bash and flame each other just because your opinions are different.

I actually made this a while ago, before I even made this account, but I had some rendering issues and couldn't get it to come out right. I think I finally figured it out though.

So, this came about after much frustration with life in general. I just had to sit down and make a quick little vid. I never planned to finish it. It just...happened. One of those happy accidents, you know?
