NC public high school students at participating partner schools can supplement the curriculum offered in their home high school by taking tuition-free, honors-level, and AP courses in STEM and humanities from NCSSM via interactive video conferencing. The program offers a variety of honors level and AP courses such as honors aerospace engineering, honors physics, honors African American Studies, and advanced level math courses that may otherwise be unavailable. There is no student application to NCSSM for NCSSM Connect courses; however, some courses do have prerequisites. If you take a vacation to Disney World, they collect your fingerprints and can use that biometric information. At-home DNA testing and newborn genetic screening results in the government and for-profit companies keeping and using your genetic information.
