RECKONING, Dimensions End: Transcendence 4 - DEBUFFS without SETZER or LAUNCH Strafe 2021-09-15 | Hey guys it's been a while! I found this fight quite challenging even with the meta team: Yuna BT, Setzer, and Vaan which motivated me to record. Apparently, early BT+ will be very challenging but then drop off to coast mode for a long time. Anyway, let's dive in. I've seen loads of ways to beat this tier; Porom + Faris call to counter the high def, Layle BT to launch and bypass def, and Setzer to enable rainbows. Yuna BT and/or Vaan BT are very common also; Yuna b/c of Crucible 1 and a solid support at this time; Vaan b/c of his high dpt with brv refunds. We're going to be using those two plus Yuffie for def down stacking. The first wave is rather straightforward. Just deal with their aoe brv + hp attacks via Vaan's blind and Yuffie's atk down debuff. The key to speed up wave 1 without burning summon or BT phase is to use one of Tidus' and Seph's calls near the end; this counters their absurd defense in the red zone. Aim to finish wave 1 by 40 turns.For wave 2, I had to optimize a lot to make the turn count. This would be easier with blue high armors of course but still not easy. My style involves bursting with Yuna early and riding her BT effect to (nearly) the end. I found that there was no opportunity to use it any later as the bosses keep delaying themselves at various thresholds. Save summon for the end and finish them off under the 10 turn limit else they will "harden defense." Each boss has their own 10 turn counter btw (I thought it was a shared counter at first), so summon after both have taken a turn.

The Boys Are Back ft. Shirtless Seph on the Bench - Ciaran Lufenia [DFFOO] Strafe 2020-12-21 | This is the end of the supposed "Hell month" Lufenia. This stage is more of a puzzle rather than a straight out DPS-race, although turns do come very close in many, many runs including my initial complete with Edward, Gladio, Desch. No commentary this time since the fight is rather straightforward - just watch for red aura thresholds in wave 2 (79%, 59%, 29%) and then prep your gravity or instant-break tech. There's lots of options here including Strago, Ardyn, Sephiroth, Trey, Relm (Odin), Edward & Ami (although they extend red aura duration since bosses have to act), and my personal favorite Keiss.Eight, Desch, Yuri was fairly close, so I'm sure there are other wacky options avaiable.My advice would be to use 2 of Gladio's LD in wave 1 to power through wave 1 and lower the turn count; you'll see I use the last LD at turn 85/90 which isn't very impactful. This run saves his LD for post-79% aura anyway, so only 1 should suffice. All in all, good luck to you guys and happy holidays! Without a tank like Zack or some damage mitigation, your team will be wide open to KOs from the beetles. There is a trick though: they target the unit with the highest HP most of the time, and the Kaiser Behemoth always goes for the one with the highest HP after it stands. In comes Eight.
