Probably for the 3D version that was cancelled when production for the new movies began pre-production.This is the worst version, IMO. Even worse than the '97 version. The new dialogue completely messes with the flow of the scene and while it's less obnoxious that Greedo shoots in the '11 version, it's even more obvious in the '19 version than the '97 version.

Luke retracts lightsaber (very rough version) SparkySywer 2021-04-29 | The idea of this edit is to clarify this scene to make the misreading of it less easy to fall into.The audio of him retracting his lightsaber and then re-igniting it come from when he ignites it for the first time earlier in the scene, although I made it much quieter when he retracts it to fit in with the sound mixing of the movie. Fun fact: Apparently the lightsaber retraction noises are just the ignition noises but played in reverse. I didn't know that! Well, I did know that while making this video, I learned this a few years ago. But before a few years ago I didn't know it.Second fun fact: The different colored lightsabers have different sound effects. In the movies, at least. Can't say for sure about the games. Except purple and yellow lightsabers, which are the same as blue lightsabers. So I guess it's just blue, green, and red which are different.The edit's a little rough. I cut out a shot because removing the glow and the lightsaber blade from it would've been a huge pain in the ass. Plus you can kind of still see the reflection of Luke's lightsaber in his eyes after it retracts (I painted it out of Ben's eyes though), although it's not glaringly obvious.There's a minor continuity weirdness with Ben. Not sure how bad it is, though. It doesn't stick out to me too badly, and I edited it, so I'm more predisposed to noticing it. But maybe it is more noticeable than I think. Feel free to tell me.I put a lot more runtime into this video than I probably needed to to show the edit, but I feel like it gives you more context on how it would feel storytelling-wise. I don't know. I still get comments saying that the Maclunkey video was too long though lol

One thing that's definitely going to change is the pan down effect, and its timing.Opening crawl music is from Shadows of the Empire. I've always hated how Attack of the Clones and Revenge of the Sith use the exact same opening theme recording as the Phantom Menace, so I replaced it here. I also like how the beginning of the Leia's Nightmare track kinda adds a dreamlike feel to Mace Windu's confrontation with Palpatine.The crawl and pan down effect were made in Blender by me, although the crawl effect was made using Jackpumpkinhead's Opening Crawl maker. Thanks a lot to them!This fanedit exists because I think the biggest issue with the latter two prequels is that they take forever to get going. This edit just cuts to the good part of Revenge of the Sith. It might be an exercise in futility, though, they take so long to get going because they have to get out a lot of exposition, which all has to either be conveyed somewhere else, crammed in the opening crawl, or be cut out of the movie.

The Ending to Every Star Wars Movie at Once SparkySywer 2016-11-02 | I used Yub Nub because I couldn't have the video from both Yub Nub and Victory Celebration, since it would drown everything else out. I couldn't have the audio from just Victory Celebration, because that wouldn't sync up with the video from Yub Nub, and vice versa. So I had to pick one over the other, and despite Yub Nub being inferior, I believe the Theatrical Versions of Star Wars are what deserve to be the "Real" Versions, and Yub Nub is in the "Real" version.
