Street Biker Tries Dirt Biking For the First Time (This Is What Happened) Arch417 Powersports 2023-03-27 | I (street motorcycle rider) try dirt biking for the first time in my life, and the bike I have to ride is a 2015 Yamaha YZ450F full motocross dirt bike (FMF exhaust)... My friend let me borrow this bike to ride and it proved to be a difficult task on the single track trails out at Wildcat Pass OHV in Cave Creek, Arizona. I film my POV ride on this fairly technical desert trails. We try some downhill, some hill climbs and some sandy washes. I am well versed in mountain biking and riding motorcycles on the street. However, it seems very little of that skillset transferred over to riding a dirt bike. I am a complete noob and beginner when it comes to offroad on two wheels. Especially a 450cc full motorcross/supercross dirt bike meant for hitting jumps. This bike did not seem well suited to enduro style riding either. I did have fun (minus the frustrating parts.) 2021 Can Am X3 Max RS Turbo RR - Chasing a RZR Pro XP in Mesquite Nevada! Arch417 Powersports 2023-01-18 | I take my 2021 Can Am X3 Max X RS Turbo RR out to the desert trails of Mesquite, Nevada with my friend's modified 2021 Polaris RZR Pro XP. We blast through the desert trails hitting whoops, turns, and some muddy basins. This was a very fun location to ride. Lots of wide open trails with good visibility. Most were pretty smooth so you could speeds of 60mph+. There were quite a few cliff edges close by the trails as the higher elevation points are on natural plateaus. There are some hill climb sections as well for dirt bikes and smaller units. I ended up with a flat tire on the Can Am. We found out that the tire had a small gash in it between two of the treads. Shredding Glamis Sand Dunes with 2 Can Am X3s! Arch417 Powersports 2023-01-01 | We take the 2021 Can Am X3 Max XRS Turbo RR (my unit) and my dad's 2021 Can Am X3 DS Turbo RR out to the Imperial Sand Dunes (Glamis, California) for some sand shredding fun. We hit some bowls, drag race in the sand drags, smash some sand trails, and get some drone footage of the riding. This was the Friday before Christmas 2022. Glamis was not busy at all. In fact, that is the least busy I have ever seen it. This is my 3rd time at Glamis with the Can Am X3 side by side. This area is also north of Flagstaff, Arizona. There are plenty of trails and roads that go around the actual Cinders OHV dunes area. We went exploring for this video.We drive these forest roads and eventually find some thick mud in the Cinders OHV main area. The mud is here due to torrential rains that have recently gone through Flagstaff, AZ. I believe this is the fastest we have gone in the Can Am sxs. There were plenty of Polaris RZRs, Honda Talons, Kawasaki KRX units camping up there as well. I think I saw a Polaris Pro R driving around. I definitely saw a V8 Trophy Truck ripping through. This area has plenty of forest roads and trails to navigate. There is a campground called Wild Cow Springs near the top of the main peak. I never knew there was any OHV riding around this area. This area has tons of small trails and forest roads to ride on. We explore the trails going up to Hualapai peak and through Pine Lake. We roll through Cow Springs campground. I was pleasantly surprised about the areas near Kingman, AZ. I never knew there were trails or OHV areas to ride around Kingman. This was the first ride of the day. Part 2 will be coming soon and be on a completely different trail. This was more of the exploratory ride to learn the trails and area better. 2021 Can Am X3 Max RS Turbo RR - Chasing a RZR Pro R On A Private Track Arch417 Powersports 2022-05-08 | I take the 2021 Can Am X3 Max RS Turbo RR side by side out to the middle of the AZ desert with Desert SXS to race a 2022 Polaris RZR Pro R Launch Edition on a private race track. We do a few test laps and film some footage and then I do a timed hot lap and really push this Can Am X3. To be fair, there is no way I could keep up with the RZR Pro R on this track or any track. I have never ridden in a SXS that handles quite like this one. It is very planted around corners and we never felt close to tipping over. We hit some jumps and the suspension just ate them up with no impact to my back or body. We even went sideways off a jump and the unit recovered immediately upon landing. The interior is great as always with Polaris units. The adjustable suspension is a great feature for variable terrain and the telemetry on screen is fun to watch. The power is insane as it feels like it has torque in the whole RPM range. The naturally aspirated 2.0L engine hits hard and acts like it isn't missing a turbocharger. The price tag is very steep however. I'm not sure I could stomach the price of purchase for something like this. That would be my only barrier to having one of these myself. 2021 Can Am X3 Max RS Turbo RR - First Time At Imperial Sand Dunes (Glamis) Arch417 Powersports 2022-03-28 | We take the 2021 Can Am X3 Max RS Turbo RR to the Imperial sand dunes located near Glamis, California. This is the first time we have been to Glamis. POV driving clips of the X3 in the sand dunes. The dunes were fun and technical. We found Oldsmobile hill, Competition hill, and the Sand Highway. We found a RZR burning to the ground on fire! Typical RZR things, amirite? These dunes require more attention than some of the other dunes that I've been to. We did a quick day trip so we did not have time to find everything, including the Sand Dragstrip :(The Can Am itself is stock performance-wise. Stock Bighorn 2.0 tires running about 9psi. We hit a jump with my 4 seater! Both units are completely stock in terms of engine/suspension.Dumont Dunes is one of my favorite places to ride, considering it has massive dunes but not a huge surface area. This means that you won't get lost if you want to ride alone. Located near Baker, California, the sand dunes are in the middle of the desert. This is my first time driving a 2 seater Can Am and a 64" wide Can Am. 2021 Ram 2500 6.4L Hemi Tradesman - Overview and Initial Review Arch417 Powersports 2021-10-22 | In this video, I show the features present and give my initial opinion on the 2021 Ram 2500 6.4L Hemi Tradesman 4x4 Crew Cab truck that I recently purchased. I show some of the features of the Tradesman and give my initial opinion and review of the pickup truck after about 500 miles. I know the 2022 Ram 2500s are starting to be delivered in small quantities. It may mean that there will be some 2021s for sale soon. The truck has some optional features present on the Tradesman trim called the Customer Preferred Package. It has a few extra cool featurers added in.I show the 0-60 acceleration time and a rolling acceleration. The 8 speed transmission shifts fast and smooth. I was cross shopping with the Ford F250 and Chevy 2500 (less interested) but the Rams were better priced for better features.
