It began as an exploration of trauma from nearly a decade ago, and then became a vent of sorts when I faced multiple deaths earlier this year. Everyone copes with trauma differently, myself included. Black backgrounds represent isolation. Even the colored scenes with live action backgrounds are muted, with the characters occupying small corners of the screen (isolation in spite of company). I'm proud of the result, and grateful that it helped me navigate my own experiences. You never know what someone else is going through, or what they've overcome, and I hope this video brings comfort to those who need it.

Mr. Magic Man AMV | Kumoricon AMV Battle Royale 2018 (WON) Tasha - Otaku Lounge Productions 2018-10-29 | Hi everyone! I competed in Battle Royale this weekend. The theme was "Magic and Mayhem," and my secret source was Pop Team Epic. We had two hours to edit a video in front of a live audience. Due to technical difficulties, I had to throw in random clips from my secret source footage (with 6 minutes left on the clock). After returning home, I placed all of the Pop Team Epic clips into a new timeline so it could render, and then set my phone's timer for a little over six minutes like the contest. Here's what I came up with for those Pop Team Epic scenes in six minutes (from 2:15-2:18). It took four minutes just to comb through the footage, but at least the scenes are coherent now. This project is near and dear to my heart. Not only does it feature my favorite song, but one of my favorite American cartoons, too. I relate to Shiro's character more than anyone else, and I wanted to highlight his relationship with the Paladins, as well as his place on the team. My intentions for Shiro and Keith were rigorously debated during the blind contest reviews (romantic vs brotherly), but I'd like to think that the themes are much broader than that. Keith leads Shiro to the Paladins, making him whole. My intentions were as simple as that. If it didn't work, back to the drawing board. This video was the result. Rider4z's video stood out for theme and use of the secret source while mine shone for creativity. ᴄᴀᴘᴛᴀɪɴ ᴄʜᴀʀʟᴇs ᴠᴀɴᴇ.【+3x09】• SPOILERS Tasha - Otaku Lounge Productions 2016-03-23 | I'm heartbroken, guys. My favorite character on television died, and even facing such a horrible death, he was so dignified. Zach McGowan's acting was incredible. I don't even know what to say about it, really. I guess I'm in shock. Vane always managed to get in and out of trouble, and I was so sure that someone would save him. It just destroyed me. If you're looking for a new show to watch, I highly recommend Black Sails (if you're old enough!). I own the dvd's and I watch it each week on Showtime. The story telling is unbelievable and the characters are brilliant. Hats off to the writers for that. And RIP Vane, you were one hell of a character.

❝ＨＥＬＬＯ❞ | k project AMV [1900+] Tasha - Otaku Lounge Productions 2016-01-24 | NOTE: SEASON 2 SPOILERS!!!What can I say? This is one of my favorite anime. Not only because it reminds me of my own books/characters, but the story never ceases to move me. And it's a plus that my top two pairings are basically canon, and you can't convince me otherwise. Heck, Munakata DAYDREAMS about Mikoto and hears his VOICE even after he's deceased. The subtext isn't exactly subtle. And don't even get me started on Yata and Fushimi. Bahaa! Fushimi abandoned the reds because he was JEALOUS of Yata's loyalty to Mikoto, and then there's Yata who constantly blushes around Fushimi. The writers kept skirting around this stuff, but one movie and a second season later, here we are. I'm pleased with the way they ended the story, though I'm heartbroken all over again ;_______; Anyway, I hope you guys enjoy this.Dedications: WeiezF, Harlequinade13, & hydrazoiteAnd special thanks to kaorusan241 for encouraging me to finish this! Tɪᴍᴇ ᴡɪʟʟ sʜᴏᴡ ᴛʜᴀᴛ Iʟʟ ʙᴇ ᴏɴ ʏᴏᴜʀ sɪᴅᴇ Tasha - Otaku Lounge Productions 2016-01-18 | As many of you already know, Snape is one of my favorite characters in both books and films, beyond even the HP series. And Alan's portrayal of his character always meant a lot to me. Over the last few days, I've struggled to decide what kind of tribute I wanted to make for him, and I finally went with a simple raw edit. And in this case, I think it's fitting to focus on the heart of the content, rather than visual effects. Alan will be missed.
