โWhat you GET by achieving your goals is not as important as what you BECOME by achieving your goals.โ
When you think about what you have to gain in terms of self development by doing the thing you need to do, you may think differently about getting started.
By checking in within yourself often, you can be sure to be more in alignment with the life you want to create, and acquire an awareness of how to stay on track to get there.

The things we learn in school are valuable. But there is always so much more to know. And much that we should have learned but didnโt.
Maybe that information wasnโt taught to us, or maybe we just werenโt paying attention. Either way, life has a way of teaching you anything you might have missed along the way.
Albert Einstein said, โEducation is not the learning of facts but the training of the mind to think.โ

Procrastination can make you feel stuck, as if you are immobilized to do anything else. By doing your tasks without delay, you may feel freer, lighter and more energized.
English Philosopher and Statesman, Sir Francis Bacon reminds us, โBegin doing what you want to do now. We are not living in eternity. We have only this moment, sparkling like a star in our hand and melting like a snowflake.โ

Highly Productive people have a plan, set priorities, and make steps to carry out their tasks. They are not sidetracked by obstacles and other peopleโs opinions about what theyโre doing. Sometimes the obstacle can not only be used, but maybe even necessary.
In all endeavors, there will be challenges. There will be things that seemed like a good idea, but then do not end up producing the result you were hoping for. All that means is that you need to go to Plan B. There is no substitute for persistence. And if you want to successfully meet your goal, you have to keep going. Find another way to make it work.

Learning to make better decisions doesnโt happen instantly. Itโs a skill that takes time.
All of these tips have that in common. Sure, you can watch this video and note them, but they're useless without proper time to work. Learning to cooperate with time will be the most valuable skill you can acquire.
At the end of the day, if you ensure youโre putting time aside to notice and understand your flaws, then learning to overcome them will be the next inevitable step.
After all, time wonโt wait for you, so itโs time to become its ally.
By consistently taking small steps you can get better at anything. Getting better at anything takes time, persistence, and knowing where you want to go. But if you stick with it, youโll find that you can make large strides in improving your skills and achieving your goals.
0:00 - Intro 0:47 - Assess your starting point 2:00 - Focus on the process 4:05 - Find the tools and information you need to go to the next level 5:30 - Stay positive! 6:18 - Practice every day
The one thing every productive person has in common is direction and a clear aim to work towards so everything else can fall in place. In line with that, hereโs a compact list of seven things highly productive people do that you can implement in your own life:
0:00 - Intro 1:07 - Listen to your body 2:38 - Manage time to maximise efficiency 3:33 - Prioritise downtime 4:14 - Understand motivation clearly 5:06 - Regular self-recognition 5:54 - Have an end-of-day ritual 6:41 - Planning
These are all perfectly achievable things. You donโt need to be a productivity guru or self-improvement expert. Start small and have direction. See what happens.

So instead of letting your fear-based habits affect your actions, itโs important to rewire your brain to have new habits. New routines. New fall-back reactions to difficult situations.
Being a teenager can come with a lot of new changes. And those changes come with problems we have to learn how to solve. Of course, itโs difficult to navigate that time without the knowledge or experience of someone older. Itโs usually when weโve aged a bit and can look back on the problems we faced as a teenager that we see what advice we needed at the time. But then again, itโs those exact problems and difficulties that taught us the lessons we needed to learn. So if we could go back in time and give those lessons to ourselves before the frustrations and the pain, it seems like weโd be able to skip over a lot of that, right? Here are thirteen lessons Iโd tell my teenage self if I could go back and have a conversation with them.
I hope these tips inspire you to stay open to new experiences, even when youโre afraid. New experiences invite opportunities for a richer, more meaningful life. Even when the outcome isnโt what you wanted or expected, itโs the things you learn along the way that really count.
