Known as "ELECTRICAL CRISIS" from the Official soundtrack. I've been having fun with these, hope the Orchestral Hits are audible and sound decent, those were hard to get right. Also ElecMan.EXE is one of my favorite navi's from the series.

This is the second song i composed for the game, Stage 4. Again, I cant recall what was asked for originally due to the group chat not being up anymore. But i think he wanted a more traditional Mega Man song with a beat of sneakyness/finality given its one of the final stages. Im pretty happy with how it is. You may notice there arent that many note cuts and it doesnt sound as cleaned up, that was a deliberate request from GL. He said he prefered it to be that way (less clean). I'dve prefered it to be cleaner, but it doesnt sound bad at all (at least not to me).
Again, I added the visualizer into the video card, given how I had to make the card on my own, youll notice that and my crusty quality logo because thats MS Paint for you.Hopefully its synced up correctly, I think it is, or maybe its a little earlier, I'll get it right next time hopefully. Also ignore that white line on the top of the screen, I dont know why it shows up, I made 3 renders and it just appears in different spots.
Anyways, enjoy.

Long story short, GeminiLaser hit me up asking if I wanted to make music for a fangame of his. I of course said yes, I was a fan of his Mega Man Glitches videos that he did a while ago, so that was a pretty big honor to be considered for it. So I said yes, and composed 2 songs for his game.
Due to the group chat not existing anymore, I cant find what I was exactly asked for, but from what I remember, I was asked for a longer song that kept going on and on, that built up as the song goes. So that's just what I did. And I'm pretty proud of this. I hope you are too. I tried something new with the video - because I had to make the layout myself (you can tell by the different font and my logo and that CRUSTY lines around, and the stupid white bar on the top of the screen I couldn't get rid of (I tried like 3 renders and it kept showing up so I gave up lol), I ended up recording the visualization from NSFPlay and put it in the video. I think its synced up correctly - sorry if its not. I may or may add that into my other videos, we'll see.
Originally, the song was in a different key, but I changed it just so I could have the two different songs in different keys.
Enjoy the song, let me know what you think, and expect the next song I composed to uploaded really soon.

So yeah. It’s the Sonic 2 ending song remade in Famitracker using the FDS. It’s almost the same version I uploaded last to the discord, with some minor changes here and there, but I didn’t want to mess with it too much. It would’ve been one of the last tracks but here we are.
And that of course ends 2017. Musically, it started off a slow year, then in the middle, steam really began to pick up and i got new fans, new subs, but by the end the steam had died down and now I barely get any comments. What a ride. Thanks for the support, if you're a fan. See you in the next year. I guess.
Thanks to Dan for adding the text to picture, and thanks to my girlfriend for the SFM recreation of the S2 Ending, she made it for me.

This time, I did Sonic 3’s Ice Cap Zone. I figure I could’ve done something cliché that everyone typecasts me as, some Mega Man song, but I kind of want to do NON Mega Man stuff, and since Mario was done, the next big franchise for me was the sernic, and because I already know how to play it on piano (for a long time too), it was a no brainer. So here’s my take on the song, mixing in parts from Act 1, Act 2, and a not-so-secret-anymore source at the end. It was fun to work on, from the get go I was told my percussion sounded awesome, but the sad thing is its freaking 4 minutes long. Everyone else has a decent time, and mine is 4 god damn minutes. I think to myself whos going to listen to it all the way, they’d get tired halfway through so that was kind of a downer and worries me even now. Maybe I did take it too far, I don’t know. Overthinking as usual I guess. Shrug.
Hope you enjoy the listen, let me know what you think.

Oh boy. Got stuff to say about this one but lets talk about other things. So today is what wouldve been Michael Jackson’s 59th Birthday, had he been around with us instead of doing the big moonwalk in the sky and having tea with Freddie Mercury. To celebrate that, I decided to do this. “But you did a Moonwalker Song” Yeah, but that was more for the Genesis game, if i published that today, S3 wouldnt really have a relevant date. Yes, I am a firm believer that Michael Jackson wrote music that STAYED in Sonic 3. The whole “dropped due to the [bogus] charges” doesnt really stand up, plus how cool is it saying that the King of Pop wrote music for a Genesis video game? So yeah, this as you know was written by Michael and Brad Buxer, who then in the future turned the song into the instrumental for Stranger in Moscow (released in 1996). This is, I hope, a good tribute to him, his music, and his involvement in my favorite Sonic game.
Soooooo yeah about this. I’m just gonna admit i rushed this. Well not really. So i was working on this for weeks, but I gave up a few days before today and only the day before (28th) i decided to come back and polish it up. I wanted to make a mix that seamlessly went into an 8-bit version of Stranger in moscow complete with the vocals in a pulse wave, but I couldnt get the balancing right, and I gave up, came back, gave up and i wasnt happy with the results no matter what. I ran it through 2 people who did their best to help out, but I think i just fucked up the balancing all together and hastily made the ending part. I wish i was better to have made it much more awesome but it is what it is now so if you dont like it i fully wholly apologize.
Used the VRC6 chip (again, no shock), and like the last cover, used the Saw as another string instead of complimenting the bass and I think thats what ruined it all, since I think the Triangle is much too quiet. Yeah. Maybe im just overly paranoid and its fine. I dont know.
Either way enjoy.

Michael Jackson 1958-2009
Moonwalker was released 27 years ago today in the US, August 24, 1990. To celebrate that, I decided to do this cover. The song itself was originally released on the "Bad" album in 1987, which means the original song was released 30 years ago. The game is debatably good (I think most people think its a cool game, with mostly everyone agreeing that the difficulty is kind of too much in the later stages), but one that isnt debatable is the music kicks ass and are awesome 16-bit renditions of some of his best songs. I chose this song because Smooth Criminal has already been done, and I wanted to do one that wasn’t so here we are. That and its one of my favorite songs of his.
Since I already knew how to play it on piano, tracking the notes was easy, its just balancing that was difficult as usual. This time i took a different approach though by lowering the max volume down significantly to get everything listenable. I also didnt use Triangle+Saw as I usually do with VRC6 because I really wanted the Triangle to be the only bass, and the Saw could be used for the chords. I used it to compliment the chords and to do the guitar part, while the Squares well be squares. I added some fun sample usage in there at the end of the loops, and I ended it in a fun way, instead of looping and fading out. And yes, those are all Samples in the finale, ones that I ripped myself, no using wave files or anything. You can tell cus they kind of sound crunched lmao. I wanted really to add some parts of the album version but I decided meh i wouldnt really know how to meld it in there properly.
Hope you like it.

The second remix I did was actually going to be Teehee Valley, but after feeling very meh about the direction it was going and trying to add new flairs to keep the very long loops fresh and new, I gave up and moved on, uploading that as its own video. I still wanted to contribute so I thought about it and then i got to this song and went ahead and did it. What a fun song from a fun game to choose from, coincidentally also released in SMK’s year AND both from my birth year, how’s about that?
When it came to chip selection, I did want to leave it at 2A03, but then for the ideas I had I did want more channels, but I didnt want to do yet another VRC6 track cus i didnt want to give the chip a bad name + balancing fears + I wanted the Triangle as the bass .I believe (like many songs at this point) that this was already done in almost any format, but I went ahead and chose MMC5 just for the simplicity that I wouldnt have to worry about different envelopes to make sure everything had the same max volume. I use SMB3 samples but I made the snare much louder because it wasnt working at its default volume. I remembering seeing a compilation of Mario stuff here on youtube a while ago that had this orchestral-esque remix of the song and I was very inspired by that (from sliding trombones doing the melody, to some chords) and adding some flairs and fun ways the way I play it on the piano. The chords were probably the hardest part to track to fit into the original song, as the rest I already know how to play on piano. Added some solo echo parts for good measure which sounded REALLY nice, and a special part in the middle which I didnt even think of until I was tracking up to that part, ending with a CHORD CHANGE for good effect.
I hated balancing this too lol but I think with the help of my colleagues, it came out well, and I couldnt have had it like that without them, if i went alone man you wouldnt be able to hear the banjo lmao. I still think it could be improved though, but it is what it is. I hope you liked this track, I really wanted to give it justice. Please enjoy.

When i was invited, I instantly knew what I wanted and it was the Battle Mode from Super Mario Kart on SNES. It’s a song that has some sentimental value to me because for reasons, it reminds me of me and my girlfriend in our early days and even when we were just friends, and its sort of decided between us that its “our song” when we hear it sometimes. I was meaning to cover it here and there through the years for that reason but I never got around to it, but with the collab i decided to pull through. As for the remix itself, as usual the balancing was really hard to get right, thankfully I got some help from people in the project (you know who you are ;) ) to help get it better than what I had it. I really hope that came out well, I still feel like the first part of the melody gets drowned out in the bass from the notes being so low. I added a flair from MK8DX’s version of the song after the first loop because I thought it was a really cool part. Since it’s a remix and we were told to have a definitive ending as opposed to fade out loops, I decided to speed it up to MKW’s speed of the final minute version and do the pitch change too and end it in that manner with a cool ending to it (the original one I had kinda sucked, thank god i was told to change it). I had lots of fun working on it and it was the first time I ever “made” my own DPCM samples (yeah I know laugh it up). I usually just ripped from NSF’s but after being provided files that supposedly had the Battle Samples but didnt, I just read a guide and ripped the proper sounds and made them into the FTI instrument, so that was a good learning experience.
I hope you enjoyed this remix I made, It was a bit stressful to work on to get it right but it was also very fun and hey its part of a collab project, that’s always fun to be part of a group of very talented individuals, so again please check out the album for the other’s work and you can download this song + the rest at the bandcamp link. Coming up soon, the second piece I made, stay tuned.

I put this in every description when possible but still felt like I should make a video about this too, I made an alternate account/channel, just in case something happens to this one. I originally was just gonna keep it there but when I got into making rail videos and stuff, I kind of didnt want my channel to end up like it was in the early days where it was a mess all over the place with no real identity (ie the 2011 days where i had like 40 subscribers and i didnt really have a name for myself, hell i still dont), I wanted this channel to start to regain its focus as pure chiptunes and shit, so im gonna use this channel for some other stuff but still subscribe to it because if this channel bites the dust, that channel is ready and roaring to go, plus you might like some of the stuff on there like I just made a vinesauce video but didnt want to put it on here and have people be like "wheres the tunes?????"

I wasn't really going to upload this, really. I finished this when I completed the Air Man one off cover a few months back, I just wanted to see if any other song couldve worked in the GB style i have and what started as just 2 frames continued until I finished the entire thing but I didnt want to continue beating the horse with more MMII things (considering now in 2017 there exist entire cover projects that super kill my 2A03 covers and blow these out of the water) so I just left it there. Why did I upload it? Not sure I guess i just saw the file heard it again and thought eh one more wouldnt hurt.

After finishing the Wily Stages (in my Gameboy mimic style) I thought of what songs I could also remake for fun and Needle Man came up pretty quickly, given its such a great song and had room for some of the fun stuff I add to songs, but what really warranted it was when the melody around 0:46 both play the same thing but do that pitch effect to chorus (i think that was the term? idfk) which I kind of dont like personally and I thought it worked better as an echo (Not to bring down Ms. Fujita's excellent work in this song). That part actually turned out far better than I thought it did so I kept going and i finished and thought well it would be kind of a waste to just leave it lying around my hard drive. Very proud of this one , only thing that was a bitch to do was the slide up in the beginning, but i think besides that this came out rather solid and Ive been listening to it on my own for a while. Hopefully I did the song justice.

Mega Man 3 is my favorite NES MM Game, by a longshot in terms of soundtrack and gameplay and you wouldn't know me if you didn't know that fact. So why Havent i really done anything with it in all the 6 years ive been doing this Famitracker gig, well, I dont know. But the idea hit me a few days ago to just have fun and do something with a MM3 song, and so thats how this came to be.
Wily 1-2 has a funky sound to it, much different than the "epic" sounds of the previous game, which i thought was a nice refreshing take. Always a jamming tune, so it was the first song I wanted to hit.
Im using my own "MME2 Style" in this, so its trying to be a GB mimic, and using all my bells and whistles Ive been using in my soundtrack to give it a different feel to it as opposed to just reorchestrating it in 2A03 (which I was gonna do but i thought this would be more fun and unique). Love how the bass came out on this one, but hope the balancing is good and all.
I hope you enjoy this, but really I only did this for fun and I rly dont care if i dont get a whole lot of views on this (as i usually dont), Just really wanted to do it for myself but thought i should share it anyways. Special thanks to Dan for the image.

So long story short, last year I took a trip to NYC to visit my girlfriend, it was my first time flying on a plane and going anywhere thats not the neighboring cities of Los Angeles, and the first time being alone and away from friends and parents. This is a video collage of video I took there, though its mostly trains, but theres some Times Square at night shots, and of course NINTENDO NEW YORK, a place ive always wanted to visit.
Apologies for: Vertical Video (I was either caught in the moment and didnt think about it as much, or were ripped from Facebook cus they were live streamed), and for some quality dips (again, ripped from Facebook Live streams), and for the editing, it was my first time learning and getting used to iMovie
Thanks if you decide to check it out.I like how it i said its the shorter video yet its still like 8 minutes long lmfao
This will play during the second intro of the game, when you see the feared Dark Data, the villain of the game. Obviously, the tune had to be a dark, mysterious tune that would show how serious he is. Unlike intro 1, this one was much more easier and fun to compose. The chord progression I thought was really fun and different than what I usually do, and the way it ended I thought was one of the better ones, it leaves on such a mysterious sounding chord. Also the break down was super fun to come up with. Had lots of fun with this one, hope you enjoy it.

P.S. Those rumors though.
Here is the music that will play in the background when you visit Holiday Park, both a location of the Intro Stage and a lobby where you can play mini-games themed after each robot master. You'll be able to visit Holiday Park from the Stage Select screen. As the game is still in development, the screenshot used is from the current version and is subject to change.
As stated before, yes theres a FDS Triangle Wave here simply because I enjoy its sound and it was an artistic choice of mine. I had a hard time coming up with what I should do with the song, I wanted to do something similar to the Gallery Themes for this game and the prequel, and after like months, I finally got this smooth sounding track. It's a very very long song and that was done on purpose, mostly because I was having fun but also to sort of "Treat" the player if they decide to stick around to check out the whole tune in game (Almost like the Auto Battle). Im happy with the end result, the melody is pretty good and I feel like it actually has some flow to it, the pulses compliment each other pretty well, I try new things with breakdowns, and the ending part with the echo is probably my favorite part of the song, and its something I do quite a lot.
Hope you enjoy my new song, let me know what you think.

Hey. First project of 2017, and what a way to start. It also means Ive been doing this FamiTracker stuff for 6 years now. Anyways like the title says, this is my own 8-bit remix of the Endless Remix from Rhythm Heaven Fever, one of my absolute favorite Wii Games. I've been on a slight haitus from composing because I feel drained with my emotions and the response to the newer-songs have been far slower than before (in a weird way) so Ive been taking it easy. I just don't feel happy with my original music right now and the way the internet seems to react to it all, it's making me feel very very very bad about my work on the fangame. I dont even know when ill even upload anything related to MME2 for now..... Anyways, Out of all the songs from the game, Endless Mode really stuck with me because of the composition (And its the most fun game to me, with Remix 10 being my second favorite game). It sounds really great, I love the chord changes and how it flows, especially the last part of the song. That and the farther you progress, the faster the song goes (something my cover doesn't do though i wish i knew how to), it turns from this really nice sounding piece to a heart pumping anthem that makes you try your best to not fuck up. After listening to an extended version over and over for days on end, I decided it was time to cover it, seeing as I dont think anyone has yet.
In the tradition of VRC6, for me it was hard to find the right balance between the bass, the leads and the background strings. Finding the notes wasn't all that hard, it was just trying to keep everything at a listen-able level with not drowning anything else out. In fact the battle was so strong I had to make another version of the song and attempted to lower everything in general and it worked so I kept it. I used Contra DPCM samples with a Contra Hat, and as I always say, when i doubt, use the Castlevania II Snare Noise for that awesome sound combined with the Contra Snare. Also I dont know how to word this but the song was optimized in my cover to fit the 8-bit sound. Somethings were cut (like long cymbal crashes that lasted like 4 measures, the "Attacking Strings" near the end of the second loop were changed to sound less like strings but they work now, or the cowbell that's in the song is completely removed for the snare (they hit on the same beat anyways so). I think the end product sounds really good and while I took a few days off to break from the song (Work, Driving Lessons, Emotional problems), Im very happy with the end result. Dare I say, I think i did "superb". I hope you like it too, or even enjoy it. And who knows. Maybe I'll do another Rhythm Heaven Cover, if this video gets recieved well and I feel good enough to do so.
The picture is really fun too. Big thanks to Dan who whipped up the picture for me, and thanks to the Rhythm Heaven Wiki for the clear pictures that were used. YES, the Chameleon is NOT from RHF, It's from "Tongue Lashing" on 3DS' MegaMix. First of all I think it looks cooler so I chose it, and I didnt know at first that screenshots couldve been added into the picture so by the time Basketball Girls were added, it was kind of too late. Sorry about that. Yes, Manzai Birds get added in there because they're technically part of the game, if only the Japanese Version. "Why is Reporter there??" Because She is best Rhythm Heaven Girl, thats why.
Let me know what you think, and as always, I hope you enjoyed. Life is very rough for me and all the positive comments I get, even short ones, make it all worth the struggle.
P.S. As of 1/12/17 (And this video), my record is 746 (Proof: pbs.twimg.com/media/C24cS1OUQAAolHL.jpg) , nowhere near the astounding 919 that kenniWORLDPEACE has, but I'm very proud of my record. Despite Mr. Upbeat being the part that scares me the most (it's very easy, its just scary as shit and I always feel like im going to end up hitting on the normal beat), I somehow lost and got my record with the Chameleon.

Rhythm Heaven Switch please?
Yeah yeah I already botched up this game's soundtrack before with my ancient horrible 2A03 covers. Which I still apologize for. AND THERE EXIST FAR BETTER REMIXES OF THE ENTIRE SOUNDTRACK THAN ANYTHING IVE EVER/WILL MAKE. But, We're back at it again - with Mega Man II on the Gameboy. For those somehow not in the loop, MMII is the ill-fated GB title outsourced to a company that had very little knowledge of MM and pretty much made a very easy game with some very ear-killing music. I thought the music was actually great stuff just the composer/programmer had no real idea how to use the sound chip well and so we got high octave pain in the form of bips and bloops so I wanted to show that the music in game was good and my 2A03 covers were born and well they didnt make a splash anywhere, except for like 1 or 2. And i doubt this either will get shared around on places like Rockman Corner TFW
ANYWAYS, i had the idea come to me in my sleep that I should do this so i spent this entire day doing so. Air Man's stage from the GB title remade in not ear-killing quality in my patented "MME2 Style" of Gameboy Mimicry. Not much to say, Just tried to make it sound even better than any other attempt I could ever do, and I think this ones my best try yet. And note like Stage 38's cover, this wont be in MME2, I just did this for fun and because I just composed 2 really big songs for the game so I wanted to take a breather but still work in FT so I hope you enjoy this, if you arent scared by my previous bad attempts.
Last project for 2016 ay! Finally we can get this shit year out of the god damn way

Thanks Dan for the awesome Image
My Ambient Shop video was going to be the last of the MME2 songs I would upload for the year, but as I said, if Dan uploads something new for the game with a song not uploaded yet, I'd follow suit and so here it is. I would've had it up on the same day (MM's Anniversary), but that day was actually my grandma's funeral so I was not only busy but not really feeling the mood to upload anything.
The idea to remix MMV's boss music was MY idea, in case you were wondering. It wasn't Dan's idea, it was absolutely mine. Why? The original idea's were Dan's, like using the MM7 shop theme but remixing it to sound evil. I was down with the idea but then I worked on other songs and the inspiration wasnt really there anymore. Then the emotional drain took out the rest of the will to do so ,so when I got back to doing stuff, I thought if i was going to reference something, I might as well go full on and so I presented Dan with this remix to which he approved instantly of. The reasons were its one of my favorite MM songs, its iconic, its from the GB games, it sounds pretty evil, kind of fits, and most of all I thought that it would be a cute and cool reference that the fans of Mega Man (both who knew about the GB games and those who didnt) would really enjoy. Yes it has nothing to do with Stardroids, and I fully accept that. That being said, I still hope that you like this. It originally started as just the theme with my flavor injected into it but then the last part came to mind and so I began to track it and it just sort of continued from there, just to give it more spice and more unique. I even used the original Bass from the song.
That's about it. I sincerely hope you enjoy the song and the remix/tribute as I thought it was fun, but i also apologize if you don't like it. Thanks for dropping by.
P.S. This is also one of the 2/3% of the soundtrack that ISNT my doing.

Now the rest of this description is copy/pasted from Octobers Text File (I write up a text file of the description lately to avoid rushing to have a description done by the time the video uploads):
October 1, 2016
This is the Shop Tune for Ambient, the new playable character in the game. Why yes, you do hear something very familiar. She was built by Dr. Cossack (one of my favorite MM Characters), and I love Cossack 3-4 (it was one of the first songs i learned on piano way back when I was just starting to play piano) so I thought why not pay tribute to one of my favorite Mega Man songs without it being a straight cover? So I did this. Yes, its using the main chord and those familiar notes from MM4's Cossack 3-4, but the melody is all mine and so is the chord progression. I just started out with the pulses, slowed it down then i played this really nice (And honestly, beautiful) piano piece to the pulses until I managed to finish this short song. I really love how it sounds. It isnt using the actual melody, its a nice sounding song, and its a nice tribute. Of course thats not probably going to stop someone from saying Im "ripping it off", I'm not. If it was, I wouldve just used the actual song slowed it down then said LOOK ITS MINE ALL MINE EVERY PART CAME FROM ME. I just want to avoid that so ,again, yes I used the basic feel of the song and the exact familiar pulses from the actual song but used my own chord progression and melody as a loving tribute to one of my favorite classic Mega Man Songs. And in the end, its one of my favorite songs so I hope you enjoy it too.
That's it for this month, I think and this year. Unless Dan ends up having a video of a part of the game with a new unheard song, this'll be the last MME2 soundtrack video uploaded for 2016. I may or may post a video or two unrelated to that game, but we'll see. If this is indeed the last MME2 OST video of the year, thanks for the support from everyone who's enjoyed my music. When i started music over a decade ago, it was always my dream to create video game music. Here I am doing the next best thing, Fan Video Game Music and people really seem to enjoy some of the stuff I do, even those who will not play the game. It makes me happy and proud of my work to get all those nice comments about my music and seeing my subscriber count go up to numbers I never thought I'd reach. Thanks again for sticking around and hope to see you in the year 2017 for more music to come.

Goodbye, Grandma. May you Rest in Peace.
YES. I know this isnt the ONLY VRC6 Sonic 2 Cover out there, and yes i know Danooct's version exist. I just want to put that out there.
Aside from using the Drum Samples (As ive already stated in HPZ & my Sonic 4 covers 3 years ago), I used only my ears to figure out the notes. That and I actually already know how to play this on the piano so it was pretty easy to get down in Tracker form. Except for those fucking non-sensical pulses. In fact, you'll notice when the melody harmonizes, I stopped tracking them. Why? Well aside from being annoying as hell to track, I didnt know how to keep them really playing while still having that funny horn come in and some of the extra blips in the song which I felt were more important to the song (musically) than the twinkles. Balancing was a real bitch, as usual, (especially the square slide) but I think for what it is, it turned out really nice. I especially liked how I made the lead sound, and the slides sound cool I think. Hope you enjoy my second addition to the Sonic 2 Collab, let me know what you think. Until next time!

Derp, I edited the image from HPZ to say Death egg but only after rendering the video, I noticed it still said 2A03 lol fuck
This is part of the "Sonic the Hedgehog 2 FamiTracker Cover Collab" that I'm taking part of, and I so happened to tackle Hidden Palace. I was invited to Discord by like so many people over a short period of time, and eventually I decided to give it a shot and I joined, and Blackbird told me there was a Sonic 2 collab so i was like "sweet i know what song im gonna do i can play it back and forth on the piano so covering it will be a cinch", well turns out that song was already taken, but that's okay, because Hidden Palace was open! It is one of my favorite songs on the soundtrack, so here we are.
Most of the collab has expansion chips, this one is just straight 2A03 with Sonic 2 samples. I really like how this one came out, simple, gets pretty much the meat of the song in there (the rest of the song is just echoing the melody and these "diamond" blips), the triangle wave (ayy), and because I already knew how to play this song double handed on the piano, it was easy peasy trackin'. Only thing that was hard to do was getting it all to sound right, so shout outs to those of you who helped me get this to where it is now. Y'all are the best. Please enjoy my part of the Sonic 2 collab and let me know what you think of it.

Man, that image took me way longer than it should have, I had the hardest time trying to figure out what to put in the yellow area lmao
Hey there again. This is the music that will play in the shop while playing as Mega Man that I composed.
Let's just get this out of the way, my weakness in music is the Major Key (Happy songs). I never really paid too much attention to trying to write music in Major keys because I thought I was a dumb kid growing up, and now that comes back to bite me in the ass ,and this is no exception. The way this song started out, I was just trying to practice trying to mimic the sound style of certain games, but it was only the first part, then I decided to rework the first half of the song into what you hear now. I left it there for a while, though my girlfriend suggested that it was too short and repetitive, and after thinking about it, I came up with the next part and fixed it all up into what you hear in this video. It was not an easy process but here we are. I think the biggest issue (along with my inability to make good sounding major songs) is the balancing. I dont know how but Ive tried my damnest to keep the volumes sounding at least all mixed but it always sounds like a loudness war to me. I dont know. This was one that makes me wish i was a better musician but *Shrug*
I hope you enjoy it at the very least. Let me know what you think and Il try to keep it in mind, but I wont change whats uploaded. When I upload songs, they're pretty much finalized [after generally months and months of editing and patching up] and will be what you hear in the game, as I dont want to have a song uploaded say last year and then on release year, theres something different, but Ill gladly keep all constructive criticism in mind as I continue to plow through the soundtrack. Personally, I like the next shop theme better to be honest... see you there!
(P.S. Im a little saddened that Shantae got delayed but I sincerely hope and have all the faith in WayForward that they wont do what happened to another certain Kickstarter project)

I'm at a loss for words. Not only is it full of FPS problems that make some segments impossible to do, not only are the graphics dull, not only is the level design all over the place, not only is the difficulty way-out-of-touch with Mega Man, NOT ONLY do NORMAL BOSSES HAVE INSTANT DEATH ATTACKS, NOT ONLY DO I HAVE TO WAIT 30 SECONDS BETWEEN DEATHS TO EVEN FUCKING TRY AGAIN
the bitch freezes up on you with a beautiful ear killing sound.
nice.
short video because believe me the sound was even worse in real life
I hope Shantae (another game I backed) will deliver where this game fell flat on its ass.
Just returned from having my hard disk crash on me
AGAIN.
And with no back up, I lost about 3 months worth of files and documents, though thankfully the most important stuff, the new MME2 songs, Dan managed to send over some of the FTM's for me so nothing from that was lost but yeah that sucked hahaha Just wanted to make this quick video as a sign of life to prove I didnt die or someshit I know i said id upload something non MME2 in the hiatus but yeah with the crash i lost my laptop for a few days, and my lifes been a mess again so yeah sorry but here i am saying hi
new MME2 video next month pro bably so see you there
also another guess the song i guess? cus i didnt know what audio to put so i dug up an old FTM

Instead of going for a 2A03 cover (I figured someone else might have already done it at this point), I went ahead and did it in my "MME2 Style", that is, if I was to put it in the game, it would sound like this, to sort of give it a personal flair to it. Nothing drastic is changed, though. all the awesome of the song is there with some minor tweaks, a few different bass notes, that kind of stuff, all to sound as if it was in the game.
It will NOT be in the game, though. Like i said, the game is going to be about 98% percent all my original music, and pretty much every stage song has been composed and completed at this point.
So yeah, I hope you enjoy. Just something I did as a tribute to one of my favorite fan Mega Man songs, and to get me back into the groove of FT/music. Hopefully I didnt ruin what is an awesome song. I have high doubts Kevin will ever notice this, as he's a legend and im just me. But it would be freaking amazing if he did.
P.S. The dot you see in the picture thats miscolored is actually referencing the off-colored pixel in the sprite of Mega Man in his Stage 38 video (and in several of his original MM pieces), which I remember someone asking about it and he said it was just an image he found off of google.

I havent played Smash Bros U in like half a year and yes I did load it just for the image then put it back in its dusty box.
So, what to say about this song. I was never really proud of this song. Even when I first finished it, and when Dan shared it via a top secret video thats now public for a Turbine Man preview, I was cringing at it. Now, I can live with it but I wish it was better. Hopefully youll like it.
The song itself is, Id like to think, simply done. Simple chord progressions except for the "breakdown" part, simple melody. Started off with an "alarm" part because I dont know, I thought it would be cool. Everything from there was smooth until the breakdown, which literally took me months to get to what it is now, I tried all sorts of things, sawtooth notes building up to the final echo part, just drums, nothing worked except for this. The ending part is my favorite part of the song, even if the chord is kind of jarring to go to after the previous ones. All in all I did try to get it to be a tense song to get the feeling of fighting for your life but at the same time I feel its really cheesy. Maybe its just me and my self-criticism and maybe it actually is a good song that people will enjoy. Or maybe not. Let me know what you think.
And that's all for now. I was going to include the Stage Clear Jingle but it seems I forgot to do so and i literally only just remembered as i typed this. Next Up, Weapon Get Theme.
P.S. I appreciate the enthusiasm people have for hearing certain songs, but dont "request" songs, as I already have (for a few more songs) a list that I discussed with Dan that would be the best schedule to follow with videos.
P.S.S. Sorry if I sound like a real downer here. Remember how I said my life was getting back on track - shouldve figured it would all come to a fucking halt again and back to depressed-ville. Sigh.

Another song that I'm pretty proud of. Smooth composing road, very little frustration, and a very pleasing end result. Basically wanted a more tribal sounding song I guess its why I went with the intro and squares being the main instrument to mimic flutes and all of that. And that "Tribal" beat i put at the beginning. I also love the bassline, its all over the place in a good way and it works. Was afraid of it being too loud but i think it balances nicely. Nothing else to say really about it. I like it a lot.
And hopefully you like it too. Let me know what you think.

Okay bye.
Hi there. This video is my Famitracker 8-bit cover of the Shredder Battle (Final Boss) music that you hear when fighting The Shredder in the Technodrome, from the Arcade Game Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, developed by Konami. It's also in the NES Port, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II: The Arcade Game.
I dont think its a surprise, but in case you didnt know, I'm a Ninja Turtles Fan, and I played the original arcade game long time ago and the NES games (II and III) were some of my favorite NES Games in general. It's Konami, its TMNT, its a wonderful match up. The music kicked so much ass in those games, even if TMNT I had some faults to it. TMNT III I feel had the best sounding music of the trilogy. My favorite version of the turtles in Animated form is the original 1987 cartoon run (That April tho.... she's my babe), I caught it on VHS and some reruns, and it has some of my personal favorite voices, like James Avery's Shredder. but my other favorite is the 1990 Movie. "Ninja kick the damn rabbit, do something!!!"
I found some of the episodes on Youtube and ive been watching them with my girlfriend and thats what inspired me to get to doing this cover. It's sort of my own mix of both the original Arcade Version and the NES version, so there's some bits and pieces of both and some flares of my own thrown in there. Using the VRC6 is still a challenge for me, I had to go through many attempts to try to balance it all perfectly, and even now its not as perfect as I wish but theres only so much I could do with the volume. Though it was fun to do and its a nice learning experience, I feel. Also I added the laugh from an episode of the show to mimic how he laughed when he appeared from the game itself.
And because I know people love both versions, I decided to do two versions myself, one at the original Arcade Tempo and the NES tempo (2:43). Just click the annotations or the time stamp here for either version, in case you prefer one or the other.
I hope you enjoy one or both versions of the song, I had lots of fun working on it and why not tribute one of my favorite games with a remix/cover.

Oh and if youre still around, my relationship is starting to smoothen out a bit. We talked it out, revealed some things, apologized, and talked it out more, and we've been going on for a week mostly without problems. I feel loads better now. And were doing far better than a few months ago.
That being said, here is Tidal Woman's stage music. I've been wanting to show this song off because I am really proud of it. This is a song that I sometimes just load up on its own to listen to in the background, I like it that much. I put a lot of effort into making it sound good too, there were points where I dozed off and I thought for a second I was listening to something out of an old Konami Game (i know that's impossible given how awesome Konami music is and how shitty i am but I was sleepy). The music itself I think is some of my best work, fluid and flowing together nicely, I like how the effects sound. I especially love the moving bassline I did. With all these things, Im mostly worried about the balancing so hopefully that came out well and that no channel gets drowned out completely by another. But yeah, I love this song and I hope you do too. There really isnt much else to say, I'm just really proud of this and my only regret is not keeping it as the last song uploaded because its that good, but I have my plans on who gets uploaded in what order (Great Song, Meh Song, Great Song, Meh song, etc etc).
Fun fact, this song was actually in a whole other key, I may upload the very original rough draft from early 2014 in the original key for fun, we'll see. Oh, and the FDS bass, if youve played Gameboy at all, then you have no excuse for not knowing where it comes from.
Thanks for listening and let me know what you think about the song, I appreciate all the feedback.
