Bright) to Critical Role ****On February 2nd, 2016 I fell one story from the roof of my garage straight down onto concrete.I broke my leg in three places, and spent a week in the hospital.When I got out of the hospital I was introduced to Critical Role.You were one of the only things that kept me afloat. I had a lot of free time, nothing to do and no ability to move, so I filled my time with a constant stream of episodes from the very beginning. I watched every panel, every periscope, any piece of media with you in it. I very actively searched for, and watched.Five months later, with no sign of healing, I went through a second surgery and spent another week in the hospital.Having lost the better part of the year to fuzzy pain-medicine induced sleeping spells and being confined indoors due to my inability to walk, there were so many times where I felt like I would lose myself and never find my way back.I kept watching Critical Role. I focused on Vox Machina and their ability to struggle through everything that came their way, and come out stronger on the other side. I fell in love with the story and the characters. Getting lost in your world helped me cope with mine.And I knew I wanted to give back, I felt like I owed it to you for helping me so greatly. I felt like I owed you everything.I started doing what I could. I started the Critical Role Colouring Book with other critters, I volunteered with CriticalScope to make use of my editing knowledge. And for a while, I focused on that. I started healing, I started walking again.And now, here I am. What a strange, happy feeling. I wonder if I’m the only person crazy enough to lead a film set while still on crutches.I hope that you and the critters will accept this film as what it is: nothing more than a love letter from a truly loyal fan and friend.Please know that if any of you, or any of the Critters need anything from me I am, and will always be right here for you.
