The mix is also very harsh to listen to - sad for such a great, upbeat song.So I've taken the mix off my original vinyl LP from 1964 and did a little remastering - adding/subtracting EQ, image enhancement, distressing, noise reduction and some dynamic compression.I feel my remastered version makes the mix less harsh, wider, has more depth in the bottom and is much more enjoyable for repeated listening. The silent film behind the audio was also restored by me. This poem, originally titled "A Visit" or "A Visit From St. Nicholas", was first published anonymously on Dec. 23, 1823, in a Troy, New York newspaper called The Sentinel.It wasn't until 1837 that Clement Clarke Moore accepted credit for writing "A Visit". He reportedly wanted to keep his authorship secret initially because he was a professor and the piece wasn't considered a scholarly work at the time of its initial writing. Moore is said to have based his vision of Santa Claus on both St. Nicholas and a local Dutch handyman where he lived in New York. It is the group’s earliest surviving recorded interview.The station served two local hospitals, Cleaver and Clatterbridge. The Beatles were interviewed by Monty Lister, with additional questions from Malcolm Threadgill and Peter Smethurst. Lister presented two shows on the Radio Clatterbridge: Music With Monty and Sunday Spin.The Beatles had little experience to draw from – just three weeks had passed since the release of ‘Love Me Do’ – and much of the interview was spent establishing basic information about the group. They then sit down on a noisy runway tarmac to talk to RTE’s Frank Hall. The interview aired on Radio Telefis Eireann later that evening.The Beatles came to Dublin to play two shows at the Adelphi Cinema that night. The versions on the internet are thin, boxy, full of noise and not very pleasurable to listen to in 2023. I took the cleanest version I could find and did some Ozone 10 magic on it. Remastered - Roddy McDowall reads Batman Novelization Sub Rosa 2023-02-22 | This novelization that was produced features Roddy McDowall reading the novel in a very theatrical vocal performance. Roddy McDowall stands alone as he captures the mood and pacing of the film. Note the novelization also features scenes that were cut from the theatrical release. Including the horse riding scene that was filmed with Sean Young (who was originally cast as Vicki Vale) before she injured herself and was replaced by Kim Basinger. This is one of those oddball finds that I am sure will give you a better feeling about the past and enrich the memories of those that remember with fuzzy nostalgia.
