the onryō : anthy himemiya edit gorsime 2024-03-23 | audio: blue eye samurai clips: revolutionary girl utenaummmm yeah i thought that combining these two episodes together from rgu and bes would be cool since they are both episodes that have puppet shows doing a metaphor or what have u of the story of the character (mizu/anthy) alongside the actual narrative being shown. and their stories are similar in many ways. mizu and juri would’ve gotten along great they’re both miserable as hell! my apologies if I have misrepresented Japanese mythology/folklore in any way with this. I was not very familiar with onryō before watching blue eye samurai! editing this was pretty fun.

She was a grey cat who became obsessed with changing her pelt colour through the use of scatter stones but it led her down a dark path and overuse of them caused her to become corrupted with jpeg artifacts…. now legends say she haunts the dark streets of metro city looking for innocent cats to steal the colours of and if you get too close YOU’LL become infected by artifacts!!! they call her technicolour dreampelt…. or………the scattercat ……………pawborough is an online multiplayer fantasy cat breeder sim. it’s IN DEVELOPMENT! you can play the breeding demo at pawborough.net :) the base art for dreampelt belongs to the pawborough team and was drawn by Amelia Bothe with some edits by others along the way. pawborough is looking to be a super fun game and beta is likely to open up later this year, so check it out!

my house: cinderpelt video gorsime 2024-02-07 | this isn’t a shipping map. don’t make me get the shotguni made this 6 years ago when i was 18 as a storyboard for a map but left it unfinished because i didn’t know how. back then i was experiencing a lot of medical trauma and didn’t really understand that i was going to live the rest of my life as a disabled person, but the concept of that was beginning to brush the edge of my consciousness and this was a clumsy attempt at expressing those feelings. recently I’ve been hit full force with some hard truths about disabled life and i felt like it was the right time to come back to this. this video is about cinderpelt going through the never ending process of coming to terms with her disability and what that means for her life, as well as the way her disability and the traumatic event that caused it changed her relationship with her mentor. firestar cannot see past the guilt and shame that he failed his apprentice, and the dreams that she once had under his mentorship, to accept the life she has created now. cinderpelt needs him to move on so that she can; she can’t bear the burden of someone else’s guilt and grief over her disability when she will spend the rest of her life feeling deep and complex emotions about it. i need to be clear that cinderpelt does not need to decide that her life is just as good or better than the life she might have led; she may still feel resentful, sad or bitter at times, but she is also happy and mostly fulfilled. also, it is intentionally ambiguous regarding the “ghost” cinderpaw and firestar and how real any of it is. it is figurative and you are welcome to interpret it however you like. Basic MAP Thumbnail Tutorial gorsime 2021-10-30 | I got procreate and it records your art process so I thought I would create a video talking through my process when I created this thumbnail for a Warriors MAP! This isn’t an intensive tutorial (basic is in the title!) but if you’re a beginner I hope it’ll have a couple of helpful tips and it’s nice to see how others do things. My biggest tips to level up your thumbnail game: - make the text of the thumbnail a part of the composition!- remember that it’s going to be viewed small, often on a phone! keep your designs clean and free of small details that will be hard to make out- similarly, don’t crowd your thumbnail. make sure every character and element of the design is necessary. do they all need to be there? - try to include iconic visual elements of the MAP. if people can look at your thumbnail with no text and know what it’s for, that’s great.What are your tips? AMERICAN PIE | COMPLETE JAYFEATHER MAP gorsime 2021-06-14 | SONG: American Pie by Don McLeanYeah, you saw that right! 8 full minutes of MAP!!!!!!!!! 57 beautiful parts!!!! I'm so proud of everyone who took part in this MAP, including people who dropped out or didn't finish their parts in time and had to be dropped. Everyone worked really hard and gave it their best shot, and that's all you can ask for! We have such a beautiful finished product here and I hope everyone is so proud of what they've contributed. This MAP came to mind a few years ago on the bus. It looked different in my mind then, since it's so long it was just a few different images strung together with music and it's changed a LOT to become something much more cohesive. It's about Jayfeather's outlook on the first part of his life (Power of Three) and how much of the magic and beauty of his world was destroyed for him, even in a world where he had actual magic! Some parts can move a little fast, so it takes watching a couple times to really get in the groove of it. That's a fault in my script writing.
