Hello...

I will be very honest. I originally had never intended to finish this piano cover, least upload it online.

The reason being my general self confidence in playing piano has depreciated again (clown_face).

That plus being busy with life has led me to being rather inactive on my YT channel oops XD

HOWEVER.

Few days ago I spoke to some dear friends of mine who pretty much just gave me the reminder that I needed again. As long as I love doing piano covers, I shouldn't try to let this passion of mine die down.

AND actually I started working on this piano cover because it was a personal challenge to myself. I felt I had to brush up on my listening skills again, so I was really trying to follow the audio and do up the sheet music blueprint for it. And then I tell myself. I put so much work into this already. Might as well try to finish what I started on...

Okay anyway.

YES I PLAY HONKAI STAR RAIL. YES I PULLED BOTH OF THEM BEAUTIFUL LADIES AND GOT THEIR SIGNATURE LCS (ACHERON AND BLACK SWAN).

I ABSOLUTELY ABSOLUTELY LOVE THE ORIGINAL VIDEO and of them dancing and the wonderful Tango themed dance piece at the back...I tried my best to cover it. AHA. Rui...

Regarding the video, my hands might be blurry...very sorry. And the captions...is my reactions but I try to tone it down already HAHA. It's cringe enough already (clown face)

Made in Abyss Season 2 has been ONE HECK OF AN EMOTIONAL ROLLER COASTER RIDE THUS FAR.

Note: This piano cover is largely based on the version that was played towards the end of EP 11 in Made in Abyss Season 2.

There is actually an even longer version in EP 10 with vocals. That one is easily like almost 10 minutes long O_O So consider this cover an excerpt XD

The piano introduction is already a significant part of the piece, but can I just highlight how much I loved the part (around 1:33) where the descending notes of "Made in Abyss" OST were added in. It is so fitting as Riko, Reg, and Nanachi continue to descend further in the Abyss into the Golden City.

From 1:55, I decided to add a little bit of the melody of the OST from MIA S2 EP 2 OST because I thought it actually fitted really well with the LH accompaniment oops XD

"A capriccio is a piece of music, usually fairly free in form and of a lively character. The typical capriccio is one that is fast, intense, and often virtuosic in nature."

My amateurish first attempt on the very first Bach piece which I'd decided to self-learn about a couple months back. Reviewing my performance, I realized there are still many details I've missed out. I still have a long way to go. I've no regrets deciding to learn this piece though; it is no doubt technically challenging to me, but I think that's also where it makes it such a fun piece to play.

Besides Capriccio, I've also learned V. Rondeaux and IV. Sarabande from this partita! I'll probably upload recordings of my playing for those parts soon. I do aim to learn the entire partita someday! Hopefully by then my technique will be much better ;w;

Really love the anime thus far. I read the manga before its anime adaptation, so seeing all those scenes animated is really a wonderful experience.

This kind of music is usually out of my forte but I realized the theme is really spicy and fun to play on the piano! So I decided to challenge myself and try to arrange and play it o\w/o

The arrangement is hugely based on the soundtrack that played in EP7 when Anya is on the mission to apologise to Damian.

For many years, I have gotten so many comments asking me for sheet music for various piano covers. There are so many until I am at a lost where to start transcribing.

I would like to have a current gauge of which of my piano covers/compositions you would like me to transcribe. Thus, I have created an official sheet music request form (linked below) for you to submit requests to me.

As I have limited free time, please do not abuse this form; only submit requests for sheet music that you seriously want to learn.

This is the only official form to submit requests for piano sheet music. I will not entertain requests from anywhere else. Thank you!

Till today I am still kinda in awe that there are people wanting to learn my piano arrangements.
Actually never mind the fact that there are people all around the world that listened to my piano playing and like it ;w;
After I started teaching piano, I finally learned how to create sheet music because I wanted to create simple sheet music for my students to play the songs that they like.
And then when I was able to do so, I thought that yes finally. Now I am able to provide sheet music for all of you too. I've made all of you wait so long, some for literal years.
The piano arrangements that have always been fully conjured in my head can now be imprinted into black and white notes on sheets of paper.

When it comes down to this, it does get a little sentimental. But I am sure the me from 8 years ago will be proud of the me today for what I have been able to finally achieve......make sheet music online XDDDDD (I'm kidding, well there are other aspects that she would have been proud of too).

I watched the first episode of "Tower of God" yesterday when it released and I. Am. Instantly. HOOKED. Will definitely binge read the webtoon soon.

Merry Christmas everyone!

For this year's Christmas, I would like to upload my piano cover of this very beautiful piece as my "Christmas" special. I had wanted to upload this last year, but I never got to learn the full piece until now oops.
Additionally, I decided to use music sheets this time as I wanted to try and make sure that my cover would be close to the original (although I couldn't resist doing some small improvisations towards the end).

When I closed my eyes and listen to the soft, high notes at the beginning, I could really picture snowflakes gently falling around me. The composition of this piece is brilliant. It is no wonder that this piece won an award for best film music (1983).

I know the one popular song from Frozen 2 is probably "Into the Unknown" but I would like to show some love for this underrated masterpiece which I actually prefer over into the unknown.

A couple days ago, I went to watch the new Frozen 2 movie when it just aired and I have to say I am so amazed at how beautiful it is.

The scene with this song is so good - it is the kind of scene where you just sit there and can't stop staring, and you have chills all over and then you just kind of start crying because IT'S SO FREAKING EPIC.

Frankly when they first announced there's a frozen 2, I didn't know how they're going to continue from the first movie which was 6 years ago, but now I take back my words I'M SO GLAD THEY MADE THE SEQUEL highly highly recommend you all to watch it.

It's literally been a year since my 10th piano composition, "The Seal Adventurer".

About 7-8 months ago, the amazing and talented fluffy mewsic uploaded this beautiful artpiece she created onto her twitter. I really love it, and I asked her if I could compose a piece for her art. I like how the city lights are blurred at the background. And despite being amongst the colourful lights, the person still carried a wistful expression. I decided I want to create a piano composition that could hopefully express some of those emotions out.

To fluffy mew, thank you so much! Hopefully this composition piece is to your liking for your beautiful artwork. I'm sorry it took so long. I initially wanted to release this in time for your birthday, but I still could not craft out a finished composition by then. Finally managed to re-record this song that I was trying to record yesterday.

Very depressing and unexpected move of Rayark. I covered this song to commemorate that move.

Highly highly recommend Cytus 2 to those that like to play rythm games. The hardcore/techno song collection in Robo_head and nora is so good. The charts in Neko is very fun to play as well, especially at chaos level.

Hello everyone, Rui here.

I have decided to embark on a journey in making Studio Ghibli piano covers. Studio Ghibli films have a special place in my heart, as I had watched them since my childhood days. However, as the years went by, and the number of piano covers in my YT channel accumulated, I thought to myself: "why haven't I done any Studio Ghilbli covers? Why do I feel a sense of hesitation when I want to play Studio Ghilbli songs?" It is just really strange to me.

Thus, I'm starting off with this absolutely beautiful piece from the anime Princess Mononoke. This piano arrangement is based off the encore version (with the choir) from the Joe Hisaishi Bukodan Live Concert. I highly, highly recommend to listen to that encore.

My deepest apologies for my inactivity, everyone.

I have been intending to cover this extremely beautiful song ever since I first listened to it when it came out. Moreover, I've also received a few requests to cover this song from Jin's Mekakucity Reload album.

Words can't describe how much I love this song so much. I get chills each time the chorus plays. I can only hope I did just half the justice I could to it.

As I am busy undergoing an internship now, I will not be active for at least the first half of this year. I will not be as quick as I used to be with piano covers too. I will return with hopefully a faster speed from June-July onwards, as well as resume seasonal anime piano covers!

Welcome to my first premiere!

It's been a loooooooooooong time since my last upload.
Thanks to that, my piano skills have obviously degraded and I know there's alot of mistakes in this...I deeply apologise.

The original version of Remind Blue is more upbeat, but I first listened to it via Jin's accoustic live version (with his guitar and all). Somehow, the song became more sentimental to me, hence I made my piano version more emotional.

I've been too busy with uni assignments and job searching these days to sanic anything anymore.
But I finally found some time to do a piano cover after I cleared some of my assignments.
And I decided to cover the 2nd ED of Banana Fish first.

ABOUT THE PIANO ARRANGEMENT:
As this is a collab with mewsic, I decided to structure my piano arrangement in such a way that the verses and pre-chorus parts would only contain chords with no melody, to accompany her singing. During the chorus, my piano's melody would come in to "sing along" with her.

X3 weeks collaboration project with Shou in working and drawing out pg 1 & 5 scenes

Always wanted to try doing something like this in my life. But I guess if I never mustered the courage to post my 1st composition (Can we go back to that day) back in July 2017, and received continuous kind comments from you guys, I wouldn't have posted this today either. So thank you all!

All I can say is, the journey to 10k subs is not easy. But now as I'm writing this, I feel that the one that is more rewarding isn't 10k subs, but it is the journey itself. And the feeling that there are people all around the world who listen to my covers and livestreams.

My piano arrangements and playing aren't the best; they're still full of mistakes with weird tempos, or my playing style doesn't accommodate all songs XD That's generally some of the constructive criticisms I get, so I have alot of room for improvement.

Despite that, you all still listen, and help my channel grow to where I am today. So thank you very much! I hope that from now on, you will keep listening and give your endearing support to my piano covers.
