The Powerstones Series is a collection of 6 small fountains - Space, Power, Time, Soul, Reality, and the one we have here - Mind. Honestly they look a bit bigger than they are as there is a much smaller tube placed within a larger tube for stability or just to make you think you're getting something bigger. This makes these fountains one of my least favorite fireworks from the sky bacon brand, the quality-price just isn't where so many of there other products are. Saturn Missile Battery 25-Shots by Monkey Mania Fireworks MJB Fireworks 2023-07-16 | Today we're trying out a 25-Shot Saturn Missile Battery by Monkey Mania Fireworks. A classic firework made by just about every brand out there, I was curious to see how this Monkey Mania version would stack up? I think the quality of this one was pretty good, my only complaint on this was that the fuse was just a quick paper fuse, not really a big deal though. These are like 25 bottle rockets all together, have a nice whistle effect and are legal in some areas where bottle rockets aren't so they make a great bottle rocket substitute. Red Beret by Fire Hawk Fireworks MJB Fireworks 2023-07-09 | Today's firework demo is Red Beret by Fire Hawk Fireworks! This is a medium sized parachute firework which launches into the air, bursts and a little parachute with a brief red flare and little red beret army guy gently float to the ground. Kids love to try and catch the parachutes and it's a bonus when there's a little toy on the end such as this. However the little "toy" on here is so small, it's probably not worth keeping. In fact I've not seen too many parachutes that had a toy worth keeping, if you know of one, let me know in the comments. Magic Whip by Supreme Fireworks MJB Fireworks 2023-07-05 | Today's firework demo is Magic Whip by Supreme Fireworks! These are a small ground firework which is basically a paper tube filled with crackle. Supreme's version comes with 12 pieces in the box, each about 9 inches long, so 108 inches or 12 ft. of total crackling whip. Each piece has a little cardboard tab on the end to hang it from, if you choose to do that, but I find it unnecessary. If you live in a state where firecrackers are illegal, I find these to be as decent a firecracker substitute as you can get. They're not quite as loud as firecrackers, but they'll scratch the pyro itch. The performance on the package reads: "A Magic Whip That Crackles!" These are an aerial spinner that I didn't think were legal in Utah but I happened to see them at my local grocery store and had a feeling they would be cool. Where aerial spinners are'nt legal in Utah I thought I'd be happy if they only shoot up in the air 6 ft. but as you can see here, these awesome little fireworks blew past my expectations! 100 Flashlight Crackers by Black Cat Fireworks MJB Fireworks 2023-06-18 | Today's firework demo is Flashlight Crackers by Black Cat Fireworks and we've got a string of 100 of them! But first, I must admit, these have been kicking around in my firework stash since I bought several packs of them way back in 2008. These are pretty much your classic firecracker, they're a cheap thrill and that is most definitely something I enjoy in a firework. And despite it being about 15 years old, this string of crackers performed pretty well. What you don't see is that the string blew in half and the other half didn't light so I had to relight it. Otherwise almost every cracker went off fine. Utter Chaos by Black Cat Fireworks MJB Fireworks 2023-06-04 | Today's firework demo is Utter Chaos by Black Cat Fireworks. But first, I must admit, these have been kicking around in my firework stash since I first bought a few 6 packs of them way back in 2008. These are a spin stabalized missile and while my experience has been that they usually go relatively straight up, they can be a little unpredictable and the West has been in major drought for the last several years, so to avoid starting a wildfire I've not lit too many of these awesome little fireworks. Luckily we got plenty of snow in time for New Year's last Winter so I was able to light one and get this video for you here. And despite it being about 15 years old, this Utter Chaos performed beautifully with it's whirring noise and the green flash as it shot up into the sky! Sliders by Wise Guy Brand Fireworks MJB Fireworks 2023-05-21 | Today's firework demo is Sliders by Wise Guy Brand Fireworks. These are a fun little pyro device that comes in a little box with a few in a pack. This was my first year seeing these around Northern Utah so I had to try them, even though they were not cheap for what they are. I always ask the firework salesperson to show me anything odd or unique that they've got and these definitely fit that category Ha ha! They said something about that you can rub these between the bottom of your shoe and the concrete and they'd light from the friction or something, but I just lit them with my firework torch. I probably don't recommend buying these unless you find a good deal on them (I paid about $3.00 for the pack), or if you are just into the odd stuff. Ground Bloom or BOOM! Flower? | Generic MJB Fireworks 2023-05-14 | Today's firework demo is Ground Bloom Flower which seems to be generic or at least I couldn't find a brand. The wrapping on each ground bloom has ann american flag on it. There's a bit of a yellow to orange color but the ground bloom part is short-lived followed by a brief pause and then a Deep and Loud Boom! Watch out for flying debris! I love to mix one or two of these in with the regular ground blooms during my fireworks pre-show fun! You gotta keep your audience on their toes Ha ha! These things pop up in my local firework tents every now and then, and when I see them I get a bunch! If you enjoyed the video, I suggest you do the same. I suspect the inner piece with the panda was supposed to be glued down to the base, but the glue had come loose? I think I have one more like this and if so I will make a video showing my attempt to make sure it's glued down or reglue it and see how that does. I like the variety and unique fireworks that Cannon Brand makes however their quality has definitely proven to be a bit lacking more often than not. Premium Color Pearl by Winda Fireworks 96-Shots MJB Fireworks 2023-04-02 | We're doing a firework demo of 96-Shots Premium Color Pearl by Winda Fireworks. I love these little aerial's, in fact, when aerial fireworks were first legalized in the state of Utah back in 2011 I believe, a color pearl firework was the first aerial firework we tried. I like to think of them as a short & fat roman candle ha ha! Occasionally I'll fuse a couple together to go off simultaniously and put them on an angle board for a nice V formation. These 200g aerial fireworks are cheap, simple, and they have great color. These little ground spinners right here are a classic! I like to try different brands of the classic fireworks like these and see how each brand compares. I think the TNT brand is decent enough quality, especially for the super cheap price. These are pretty easy to find and if you shop around it's pretty easy to find them for less than $1.00 per 4 pack. Fire Roulette by Bright Star Fireworks MJB Fireworks 2023-03-05 | Today's Firework Demo is Fire Roulette by Bright Star Fireworks! This here is a solid medium sized fountain with a spinning effect that's pretty awesome. The fountain starts out like a regular silver/gold sparkling, glitter fountain, then 3 side tubes ignite causing the fountain to spin around. Bright Star Fireworks is a new brand to me. I just started seeing them recently and I noticed similarities to Winda Fireworks, so I did some googling and it turns out that the same company (Panda Fireworks) produces both brands of fireworks (Bright Star & Winda), so that explains the similarities in effect and awesome quality. A classic firework made by just about every brand out there, I was curious to see how the sky bacon version would stack up? I think the quality of this one was pretty good, all 25 missiles shot off without a hitch, my only complaint on this was the fuse was just a quick paper fuse, not really a big deal though. These are like 25 bottle rockets all together, have a nice whistle effect and are legal in some areas where bottle rockets aren't so they make a great bottle rocket substitute. In this one I think I see a hint of reddish to the flame? but it's really not that noticeable. These are the classic crackle device make a decent firecracker substitute in areas where firecrackers aren't legal. They're cheap and you can light one after another for a while. Do you notice a difference in quality between brands of crackle balls like these? Which brand do you think is best? Personally I think the TNT brand is one of the better brands of crackling balls. These are great for keeping the kids entertained while waiting for the bigger fireworks. Back before they made the jumbo crackle balls we made our own from a whole pack or two of these little ones. I shop around and can usually find a good deal on these ($0.75 per 6 pack, or less). Sometimes I find tents selling them for as much as like $2.00 or more per 6 pack, Don't pay this, keep shopping and you'll find them cheaper somewhere, especially at grocery stores. These things are pretty loud for a hand thrown device and way better than the little "pop-it's" you played around with as a kid. The brand of these appears to be "King Bird" however I find it odd that I've not seen any other type of firework by that brand. Regardless, these are great to have and a decent firecracker alternative if you live where you can't get firecrackers and enjoy a solid report. For additional fun, throw multiple snaps at the same time to increase the volume, or lay these under vehicle tires to startle the unsuspecting driver. This came in a 6 pack (for $5.99) of similar fountains all with the name of "Zen Master" but with different color labels. Each color of label depicted a different effect. This "Blue Label" showed a performance of "Blue Silver Ball". I think for $1 each, these little fountains pack a punch! Tri-Rotating Wheel - Generic Firework MJB Fireworks 2022-07-15 | Tri-Rotating Wheel Firework Demo - Here we're trying out a small wheel firework called "Tri-Rotating Wheel". This firework seems to be generic, I could find no brand on it. However I did pick it up from a store that otherwise pretty much only sells Black Cat Fireworks so you may find this in other stores selling black cat fireworks. It was pretty cheap and for some reason I just love wheel fireworks so I had to give this one a try. I should say, this one performed better than I'd hoped, since I bought it 8 years ago. I know, why didn't I do it sooner, I don't know, I just have some stuff that I buy and put in my stash and kind of forget about and this happened to be one of those things.
