The European version of Ultimate NES Remix has issues on Japanese 3DS systems, most likely as the European version also includes Ultimate Famicom Remix, and the game gets confused as to which setting to use.Update 2: Can also confirm that games with netplay that don't require an NNID can also be played online. No word on DLC content, and I probably won't try either.Update: Can confirm that for games with multiple languages, they will boot up in the System's default language (e.g. Japanese Smash Bros in English on an English 3DS).Here's a little demonstration on how the latest Nintendo 3DS Exploit allows for Region Free gaming. It is legit, safe, and requires no mods or piracy, be they existing or previous. All you need is an Old 3DS/XL/2DS model, your SD card with the file in the root folder, and any game from any region of your choosing. No support for the New 3DS/XL yet, but hopefully in the future.I won't be posting links, so don't ask. To celebrate my painfully slow Century here's my cover arrangement of Jean-Michel Jarre's Band in the Rain, also known as Equinoxe Part 8 (before the reprise at the end). To keep it true to the version he composed on the album AERO, I used a Barrel Organ as the main instrument with reverb for an added bite, and a recorded Thunderstorm sample for the 'in the rain' effect. The original work remains solely the property of Jean-Michel Jarre, but this is NOT Jarre's own version.I'd be honoured if the great man himself comments but that's wishful thinking. I hope you enjoy this all the same.

I actually like the German rendition of Brave Heart, which is called 'Wir Werden Siegen' by Frank Schindel, but although I've seen the German dub of Digimon and have seen the instrumental versions of the original 'Brave Heart' theme, I've never heard Frank actually sing over the top of it, so I fused the two together and to be perfectly honest, it came out really good. So, enjoy! It's not often boredom produces a good result!
Space Harrier Main Theme (SMS BIOS ver. 2.1(J): FM-NES Mix) BlueHairKei 2010-02-19 | I just had to do this given the fact this music piece is legendary and makes best use of both the Master System's PSG and YM2413 chips. For this variant, I used samples from the Megadrive's YM2612 chip (including percussion) and its PSG chip (for authenticity, as the SMS and MD's PSG chip is identical) alongside the NES' sound processing chip. It may not be the best version of the theme out there, but I enjoyed recreating this piece in an experimental style I enjoy, so I hope that you all enjoy it too. ^_^ The movie itself is a video dump of the SMS BIOS V2.1J. The Japanese text reads "Please turn the system off and insert some software", thus is only accessible when you have no Cartridge and Power Card inserted into the system. Pokemon Diamond/Pearl/Platinum - Eterna Forest BlueHairKei 2010-01-22 | I decided to share with you my latest sequence, this time of the Eterna Forest theme. It's a beautiful melody and one of my all-time favourite music pieces in Pokemon. I hope I did this theme justice, because it was a joy to put together. On a Pokemon-related note, am I the only person who thinks Roserade is overrated? I mean, it's in the OU list but it's not really OU material. BL tier definitely. Its great special attack is overshadowed by its poor typing. Grass/Poison is just asking for trouble, even if its move pool is pretty awesome.
