Covering large format sensors for that Full Frame look is definitely a big selling point of the lens for us. In our DZOFilm 16mm Vespid Review video we also show a short film shot on the lens. The wider focal length was lot of fun to experiment with. The DZOFilm 16mm t2.8 vespid prime even gave us some nice shallow depth of field. We're looking forward to using more on a larger format camera like the Sony a7s III or Alexa Mini LF. The DZO Film Vespid 16mm definitely performed really well against the other lenses in our lens test. Our Short Film shot on DZOFilm Vespid 16mm lens use only this single lens as well as the Alexa Mini. Using just a wide angle cine prime lens was a lot of fun creatively. Red Komodo ANAMORPHIC Footage with Atlas Orion Lenses (6K Cinematic Footage Film & Low Light Test) Film Jams 2021-09-10 | This week we took out the Red to shoot some Red Komodo Anamorphic Footage with Atlas Orion Lenses. We tried to create some 6K Cinematic Footage out at the beach. The test footage we shot on Red Komodo is both at sunset and at night. So you can see some Red Komodo low light footage, too.If you're looking to see the Red Komodo Atlas Orion combo, this Komodo 6K film will hopefully whet your whistle! In the Red Komodo footage, we tried to include some lens flares as well as contrasty shots to show the dynamic range. The Red Komodo test footage was all shot on the Atlas Orion 40mm lens in 6K mode.The Red Komodo 6k anamorphic footage impressed us and we are hoping to compare it to the Alexa Mini soon. Keep a look out for that video soon. The Red Komodo 6k low light footage also looked good. We only used natural light and a small LED wand. We wanted to film some Red Komodo footage with a cinema lens and took out our trusty Canon CN-E Prime for a spin. We tested out 360 mode, as well as running shots, and a DJI Ronin RS2 setup. If you're looking for Red Komodo Ronin S Footage, the Ronin RS2 setup is even better than the original gimbal. The Red Komodo Ronin S2 combo is a great pairing. With the Komodo's small size, and the Ronin RS2's superior weight limit you can achieve shots that previously needed a much larger gimbal. Red Komodo Ronin RS2 or Ronin S? We upgraded from the original Ronin S, and the newer camera gimbal felt much more robust, supported more weight, and it was lighter. Sony a7S III CINEMATIC Video + Cooke s4 Lenses (4K Footage) Film Jams 2021-07-02 | Buy an a7S III here: amzn.to/3qPBwvp - This week we have some cinematic footage in 4k from the Sony a7s III with Cooke S4 Lenses. We've been wanting to take out our Cooke S4 cinema lenses with the a7sIII camera, and we had fun shooting with this combo! One thing we love about the Sony a7s III camera is the new color science. The Sony a7S III cinematic video footage coming from the new sensor combined with cinema lenses like the Cooke S4 75mm lens we used really impressed us with what the camera could do. If you're looking for Sony a7s III video samples, we shot a variety of scenes - both in studio and exterior in day and evening. The Sony a7S III 4K footage has the ability to push the color correction with its 10 bit codec - though most of our shots are straight out of camera. It was nice to see the Sony a7sIII cinematic footage have that leeway for post.The Cooke S4 cinema lenses made a nice pairing to the a7s3 with the Metabones E to PL adapter. The Cooke S4 footage is very sharp but also has nice rolloff and we thought made for some nice video. Sony a7s III Cooke S4, good combo? Blackmagic Pocket 6K Pro Anamorphic Footage + Atlas Orion Anamorphic Lenses (BMPCC 6K Pro Footage) Film Jams 2021-06-04 | Looking for some Blackmagic Pocket 6K Pro Anamorphic Footage? We just converted our Pocket 6K Pro to PL Mount and put on our Atlas Orion Anamorphic lenses to test it out! The BMPCC 6k Pro has a nice native anamorphic mode that we filmed this video in...mostly shot on the 65mm Atlas Orion Anamorphic lens!The Pro version of the Pocket 6K Anamorphic gives us the ability to add ND filters and some other major upgrades from the original BMPCC 6K. The BMPCC 6k Pro Footage so far seems very organic and we like the new gen 5 color science. What do you think about the Atlas Orion Anamorphic BMPCC 6k footage? Does it improve on the original? For us Atlas Orion BMPCC 6k Pro footage is some of the nicest anamorphic footage we've seen aside from our Alexa Mini. We had a lot of fun filming anamorphic on Blackmagic...almost as much fun as juggling our Rokinons over the Grand Canyon! In this video we show how to do a BMPCC 6K PL Mod in under 10 minutes. Having the Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera 6K PL Mount Mod enables you to use a variety of high-end cinema lenses like Cooke S4's, Leica Summilux lenses, and Atlas Anamorphic lenses. Doing the Pocket 6K PL Mod takes a little bit of time care, so be prepared.The Wooden Camera PL Mod for the Blackmagic Pocket 6K Pro is a worthy investment if you've been itching to use PL mount lenses. Red KOMODO 6K Footage & Review + Short FILM with CINEMATIC Footage in LOW LIGHT! Film Jams 2021-04-11 | Looking for some Red Komodo 6K footage?! Or how about some Cinematic Low Light Footage...in 6k?! Well this week in our Red Komodo Review we have all that and a few Ukrainian and Russian guests to tickle your fancy! Red Komodo Low Light, how does it do? Well in our camera tests the grain was not as noticeable as we'd expected. The Red Komodo footage had a pleasing organic quality that we thought looked very filmic. We shot standard 23.98 as well as Red Komodo slow motion footage at 48p and 60p. We even incorporated a bit of Komodo ProRes footage to compare against the Raw 6k Komodo footage.We shot a little Red Komodo short film to show some different scenes and lighting setups with the camera. Overall it's hard not to like the Red Komodo camera and it's lovely 6K Raw footage. The quality reminded us a bit of our Alexa Mini and that's not a bad thing! (GVM Wand Light Review) Cheap RGB Tube Light Wand Film Jams 2021-02-14 | This week we take a look at what might be the best RGB LED Light Wand, in our GVM RGB Wand Light Review. The GVM LED Light Wand Light packs a punch with its 8 included FX, 20 watts of power, and full RGB color selection. It's sort of like an RGB Lightsaber where you control the Force!One of our favorite features of this RGB Light Wand is that it has separate LED lights on each side of the fixture. RGB LEDs on one side, and the Bi-Color LEDs for tungsten and daylight on the other side. This allows the GVM RGB tube light to have higher color fidelity with the Bi-Color LEDs, but also gives the option for effects and colors with its RGB LEDs. A pretty sweet combo! The GVM RGB LED Light also comes with a nice kit including a battery, charger, and case - more than a lot of the LED Light competition is offering. For under $200 this may be the best cheap RGB LED Light Wand we've seen. We picked up two of them to use on films and for product shots. They also work great for long exposure photography. The Canon C300 Mark III cinema camera has the ability to shoot 4K 120 fps internally with no sensor crop. All C300 mk3 footage is shot on the Canon L Prime EF 35mm f/1.4 II and the Canon L Prime EF 50mm f/1.2.If you're looking to see some 4k 120fps slow motion Canon C300 mark III sample footage, we filmed scenes at the beach right after sunset. The Slow Mo is very smooth even in low light. We also brought out a pair of 4' Nanlite Pavotubes to light our model. The Canon C300 4k 120fps slow motion video is very smooth and sharp, and holds up well in low-light. Our C300 mkIII low light test went up to 3200 ISO.There's an abundance of features on the new Canon C300 mark III cinema camera, like the 4k120fps internal recording option. The internal digital image stabilization also worked surprisingly well which we use on a few shots in this test footage recording session. The Canon C300 mk3 footage really impressed us in 4K 120 FPS slow motion.
