I SWEAR, this is real. This is straight from the game. I still can't think of a way to describe it. Primus covering Dragonforce? Power Metal for the attention deficit? Awesome? Let's go with that. As stupid and idiotic the final track is, the sheer ridiculousness makes it impossible to stop listening too. Seriously, what the fuck?
Extreme Paintbrawl, considered one of the worst games of all time, was released by Head Games in 1998. I have no clue what the song titles are or who did them for the game, but they probably wouldn't want anyone to know they had any hand in this 4/4 rhythm rape. If you know, please send me a message and I'll update that info.
Update: The tracks were composed by Todd Duane. From what I read, he gave Head a CD with some random demos, which doesn't surprise me in the least. Looking him up, he's not bad, it's just this collection of what-the-fuck ear drill crap that's awful. He has a YouTube profile on here by the name of Treetopper, featuring some videos of him "totally shredding" on his "bitchin' ax" or whatever you kids call it. On that profile page is also a Myspace link.
Thanks to ecxpac (and some other guy I don't remember) for the tip!

4. PAC-MAN ThemeThe Amazing Adventures of Pac-Man - Side 1Tuwonwon2010-05-08 | Oh, wow. Really?
"Pac-Man! Oh, Pac-Maaaaaaan!"
Good god. The narrator is just... why? I have to imagine the recording was a bit edited:
"As uneventful as... a game... of Pac-Man? Who wrote this shit?"
Anyway, yes, this is indeed real. In the days of Pac-Man Fever, marketing worked its little pac-ass off and gave us this. It's pretty bad, but it is humorous, albeit for all the wrong reasons. Personally, I prefer Pac-Man Fever. Ode to a Centipede has a sweet solo. Unlike... the opening music here. Is that REALLY "PAC-MAN Theme"? It sounds like a drunk person playing random Mega Man songs.

This really raises more questions about the game than it answers. Seriously, you won't predict the ending. It's not amazing, just perplexing.
You might recognize sexy driver Emmanuel Bilodeau, debonair patrolman Antoine Charest, and upcoming body on the side of the road Delphine Brodeur from their bit roles in a ton of crap in France.
This is yet another almost-oscure game I own, but I actually like this one. Hey, I love arcade racing games. But LORD, is this intro long.Extreme Paintbrawl Song 5Tuwonwon2008-11-24 | What do you do when you can't write anything else? Take a trip to the Public Domain! Doesn't change the fact that I fucking hate Vivaldi's Spring. Ugh.Extreme Paintbrawl Song 4Tuwonwon2008-11-24 | Oh. Wow. This... wow. Just BAD. Not like the others, just a flat out failure. Hey kids, if you ever want to be a rock musician, don't start off by dragging your face across a keyboard and selling the outcome to an unknown game company.
Extreme Paintbrawl, considered one of the worst games of all time, was released by Head Games in 1998. Like they don't know when they're supposed to come in. "Oh wait, that's my cue!" *strums* "Oh snap, too early... wait, this is it!" *strums* "Dammit!"
Wait for the... smash sound? Then the greatest synth solo ever hits. Seriously, Deep Purple and Boston have nothing on him. All around, this is the easiest song to ignore. Not painful, not good, just right. Like Easy Listening Prog.

Until the piano hits.
Then the sax.
And violin. Somebody sure is proud of their new synth!

Thanks to ecxpac (and some other guy I don't remember) for the tip!Extreme Paintbrawl Song 1Tuwonwon2008-11-24 | This is the first song from the game, and what I'm guessing is supposed to be the theme. Maybe. I should note that the Readme and other txt. files no one reads were apparently written by the world's biggest Jimmy Buffet fan because they constantly thank him for "getting me through the day" (paraphrasing here) and other weirdness. It's clear that person wasn't in charge of music, but they share a real knack for judging quality.
