AIKRON A20 DRO System Parameter Setting
The DRO will enter self-checking process when the power is switched on.
This self-checking process is to check the displaying of LED, resolution and machine mode.
Once the process completed,the DRO will enter working status.
While DRO is under self-checking process,press to enter the parameter setting.The setting includes the following:
1. Encoder type Setting(Linear or Rotary)
2. Resolution
3. Counting Direction(0 indicates positive,1 indicates negative)
4. Compensation Type(Linear or Non-Linear)
5. Imperial Decimal Setting
6. Number of axis setting
7. Machine mode

In this video ,we have simply demonstrated how to access the AIKRON A20 LED digital readout console (also we call DRO display) system paramaters settings.
Here is how:
*Turn off & Turn on the display
*Press "ENT" button to access the system papameters setting while the dsiplay is in the process of self-checking,"bee bee bee" sound can be heard.
*You can have more setting options by pressing “RIGHT DIRECTION”button.
The system papameters setting includes the following:
#1,Encoder Type selection, Linear encoder and Rotary Encoder.
#2,Resolution Selection, 1μm,5μm,10μm etc... (if you have set the DRO to work with rotary encoder,you can only input the PPR of rotary encoder only)
#3,Counting Direction selection, Nagetive or Positive countings.
#4,Compensation selection, Linear compensation or Unlinear compensation.
#5,IHCH decimal point setting, you can set it as 4 decimal points if you think 5 decimal points is too many.
#6,Axis selection, you can turn off the axis which you do not need.
#7,Application selection, e.g. milling machine,lathes,grinders,EDM...
Please note:
Press X0 button to bring any changes.
Make sure to press the "Decimal Point / ." to save the changes you have made.
