As you've seen from the footages I've already uploaded, I had roughly 19 hours of gameplay footage to go through. And boy does Premiere not like single huge files. If you have one video that is MASSIVE in size, Premiere will still have to go through all that data while you try skipping around the video. I'll try to fix that in the future, either while recording or in Premiere.Anyway, this will be the yearly dose of TF2 for me as a combination of Scream Fortress and a "check-up" video. And to be fair, not every server had bots. But on occasion, when they showed up, they REALLY showed. Plenty of bots were having issues connecting to the servers, some even had been VAC banned but tried joining anyway.I also decided to do things differently this year by asking the members of my Discord server if anyone was willing to join me. Some people joined indeed, so I didn't have to suffer by myself again! And over a period of six days, we finally made it. Unfortunately depending on the map, we had to wait a LOT. Though in hindsight, a 2-player party is probably gonna have a much easier time finding matches. Having three people or more in the party was one of the main reasons it took so much longer to find matches, so consider that next year.Once once more, HUGE thanks to Fingotar, Monke, Pyro Kujo, Sarkness, Plaid Toast, TFGO and Tobetko for giving me assistance this year.But yeah, I've seen enough of TF2 for now. I mean the graphics were great but boy did the bugs start overshadowing the positives. Some bugs were funny but some were there just to straight up kill me. JUUDOLF No.10: Middle-earth: Shadow of War, part 2 JUUDOLF 2022-08-21 | Alright, next video! Back at it in Middle-earth: Shadow of War, using the rest of my clips again to make a roughly 16 and a half minute long video instead of trying to snip 'em to two separate videos. Besides, I'm down with SoW anyway.Been busy doing other stuff for the last couple fo weeks, giving my parents some help and such, making financial security and all that jazz. But I've also done my best to make more videos, even took some time to learn some new tricks on how to use other programs like After Effects, Audition and Photoshop more effectively. Doing things by hand does tend to be the solution tho.Also once again I also have to apologise for the lack of music, or rather, lack of music other than in-game music. I did manage to sneak in some Kirby and TimeSplitters music but that's it. In-game music kinda helps keep the atmosphere tho, at least until things break down and/or take an unexpected turn.Maybe people are correct when they say that I have some messed up gift to make games bug out. JUUDOLF No.9: Need For Speed: Heat JUUDOLF 2022-08-05 | Oh yeah, started out fun, the game looked fantastic and it felt great to drive for a change. But it soon became apparent that even recording this game was painful. Because NFS:Heat is one of those games that wants to hog every possible resource on your PC. As in just getting to the main menu made the game reserve all the available resources instead of taking just what it needs. That's why choppy footage like what we saw at 0:52 was a thing. OBS genuinely had to fight for the processing power as the game was just sucking up both GPU and CPU power. Because an RTX 2080Ti and i9-9900K aren't enough, apparently.And like with just about every other NFS game, two or three of the cars were ridiculously powerful. For example, an upgraded Beetle is faster than any of the Ferraris in the game. If you didn't use the Beetle or Porsche 911 Carrera S, you were just wasting your time when hopping in to multiplayer. Oh and you do need that scummy edge because of course the AI tries to rubberband at higher levels.Crews were also a thing, which you're placed in when you start playing the game. "Ghost crews" as they're called. But instead of abusing the work of other people, I decided to abuse myself by making my own "crew" soloing it to rank 50. Emphasis on "abuse." Reaching crew level 50 requires 66,732,350 XP. The single largest amount of XP I received in one run was around 3 million... which took hours to achieve.As for the actual gameplay itself, while the game was fun, there was that over-shadowing feeling of EA in the air. I mean the game tries to sell you a pass which shows you where all the collectibles and activities are for €5. Because using Google is too difficult for some people I guess. I was also hoping to see more body modifications and finer tuning but no, this was kept simple. JUUDOLF No.8: Fallout 4, Part 2 JUUDOLF 2022-07-22 | Alright, here's my next plan: instead of going for 10-minute videos, I'm gonna go try making longer videos again so I can clean up my hard drive faster. These are all the Fallout 4 clips I have saved up. Could've made two separate videos out of 'em but then I decided otherwise.Also, no still no music because these are older clips from when I didn't think about disablign music. In-game music + music added when editing = an absolute mess of a noise. Oh and by "older clips" I mean "two clips from 2017 and the rest from 2019 to 2020" -old. That alone should be enough of a reason to start using them.I'm also planning on putting my old PC back to use, but I need to... get some financial stability, before I can start thinking about things like capture cards and other stuff like that. The idea is to make a dedicated footage machine and a proper streaming machine so I can give a proper shot at that. Because more and more games take plenty of resources, both GPU and CPU -wise. Remember when I tried streaming Warframe? Yeah, didn't work because a 2080 Ti and i9-9900K don't have enough mmhp when trying to stream using either of them.But that'll be in the future. JUUDOLF No.7: Team Fortress 2 Check-Up, Episode 3 JUUDOLF 2022-07-08 | REAM ME!I'll be perfectly honest right now. My expectation were somewhat lifted but no, this was not fun. Just like before I went on vacation from TF2, the game is still infested even after Valve pushed out a nice update. And if the bots and script kiddies aren't enough, I just get no enjoyment out TF2 anymore. Positives feel like nothing and negatives feel twice as big. Even editing this together wasn't fun to a point where I just wanted this out of my computer and be rid of it. Cuphead: The Delicious Last Course (of victory) JUUDOLF 2022-06-30 | Just wanna to share something real quick.Way too long after my last time of playing Cuphead, today on June 30th, the Cuphead DLC "The Delicious Last Course" was finally released. And boy did beating the final boss after over two hours of trying with my body giving out emergency signals to stop (including but not limited to: excessive sweating, painful fingers, locked up right wrist, painful elbow, pressure inside skull, lightheadedness, watering eyes and tingling sensation from the palms of both of hands all the way up to cheeks, just to name a few) feel VERY good. JUUDOLF No.0: Channel Update JUUDOLF 2022-03-14 | At long last, I did a thing.The last couple of months I've been dealing with things like getting my head back together, family matters and "events," learning to use both Premiere Pro and After Effects more and more and a messed up tooth which ended up needing root canal treatment. Just to name a couple of things.The tooth alone has kept be essentially half-dead due to the amount of painkillers I had to take every day for almost three weeks. And those painkillers were just so I could stand being awake and being able to sleep even a few hours every night. But now it has been fixed and I can actually hear myself think. Occasionally. Whenever I happen to think at all.Anyway, now with the things sorted out and things done for the sake of my channel, I can finally start focusing on my channel and making videos again. I will also deploy the new graphics (like channel banner and channel icon) at the beginning of next month as well as fresh playlists for the videos I'll make in the future, just to keep things a bit more tidy.No, TF2 is still not 100% abandoned, but I'm not sure when I'll check back on it again. But I have a LOT of other footage to share too. As in clips I already have saved up for future videos and a few videos that are essentially done already. And on top of that, once I'm done editing videos, one of my free-time actvities is playing video games. A shocking revelation, I know.Yes, my little speech was 100% scripted which I read out. Snips of Team Fortress 2 Check-Up JUUDOLF 2021-05-22 | NOTE:ENABLE CAPTIONS IF AND WHEN YOU'RE HAVING TROUBLE UNDERSTAND/HEARING WHAT I'M SAYING.Took me a while because I made the mistake of not hitting the "Start Recording" -button in OBS. So then I had to go through so hoops to get the full stream downloaded in "full" quality. Downloading directly from YT was not an option because that only gives a 720p video, so I had to request a Takeout from Google, during which Google compiles the data you've requested. Then it took Google three days to compile all of my YT videos to be downloaded and then I had to download EVERYTHING because the files are in random order. And when I finally found the stream, it was in .webm -format, which just so happens to be one o fthe very few formats Premiere Pro doesn't support. So I had to spend two days figuring out how to convert the stream to a functioning format. And finally, after the video was converted to .mp4 format, it only had a bit of consistent audio desync, sure, that was simple, but then I realized that YT messed up on two occasions where the stream recording just decided to cut forwards. Also, I now know I was a bit quiet during the stream and sadly I couldn't fix that while editing. Yes, I've managed to make an OBS setup where I have game audio and mic audio going to separate channels, but YT doesn't do that. All of it was in one audio track. So the next best thing I could think of was to add captions here on YT.What do we learn? If you want to record something so you can edit it later, REMEMBER TO ACTUALLY RECORD IT YOURSELF.Anyway, at last, here's some snips from the stream with some of the key subjects I want people to get in their heads.
