In 2017 Emma discovered the world of Electro Swing and has never looked back since. Since then she has written and featured with the top names in the scene including Jamie Berry, Wolfgang Lohr, Odd Chap, and Bart & Baker.On her latest release, she has collabed with Odd Chap. Hailing from New Zealand, Odd Chap has been making huge waves since he rolled onto the Electro Swing scene in 2015, and with releases on Freshley Squeezed and Electro Swing Thing notching up millions of plays on Spotify, he has no plans on slowing down anytime soon.As with Emma's previous releae "Big Bad Wolf", "Wicked" comes with a story, as after all, songs are just stories to music! The story behind "Wicked" is about feeling trapped and totally powerless by the actions of an individual, but finally finding the courage to speak up. However it may seem, this story isn't a negative one, because although they are negative feelings, it possesses some form of empowerment by shouting them out! Telling the person how you feel about them is far better than suffering in silence, and by doing so, it gives you back your voice. There are some big and powerful players within the music industry who can be cruel, and don't always have your best interests as their primary goal. They can lure you in using your dreams as bate, and then bring you down with their words, as describes the line "he's got a dangerous smile and a dangerous bite".In the 'Big Bad Wolf' Emma is saying she is no longer scared or intimidated of these characters she has met over the years.
