The EXIT SUIT is a full body immersion rig for VR. An exoskeleton body support that anchors players, catches them if the fall and allows them to move in amazing ways. Additional modules can be added to also include haptic and force feedback.
The EXIT SUIT design is offered to self-builders for free, under: Creative Commons Attribution Non-Commercial International 4.0. You can make and customise for free but any commercial activity will require further licenses from us. Download the blueprints on GitHub. The future is ours.

They even gave us an Auggie Award for being awesome. We didn't want to fly a suit over and back so we made one there in the local maker space the MAKER NEXUS. If you would like to build your own suit and be involved in it's development, you must fill in your details on our website exitsuit.com to apply for a Golden Ticket.
You will need to give us your measurements, agree to our conditions and impress us with your attitude and making.
Only individual makers and University teams will be granted Golden Tickets.
Your ticket will give you a tailor made CAD drawing and access to our non-public communication channels for instructional videos and discussions.
We intend to use this round of prototyping to test the design, explore new ideas and inform the next round of open-source making.Playing in a Population One beta room in an EXIT SUITEXIT SUIT2023-03-18 | If Willie isn't busy, he's in Pop One. He admits he's not very good at it, despite the amount he plays. Here, Zac follows him as he runs around an empty map. The EXIT SUIT does not improve player ability, but it makes jumping off buildings more fun.
The EXIT SUIT is an open source wooden exoskeleton for VR, that gives you lots of freedom of movement (and a perch if you're tired). It is the future of human digital interaction. People interested in building their own EXIT SUIT should get involved.

There will be limited Golden Tickets awarded internationally, for the first round of production. This is to ensure the best chances of impressive design thinking, high quality making and general success.
Individuals, friends, schools and interdisciplinary University students are eligible to apply for a Golden Ticket.
Golden Ticket applicants must have access to CNC cutting of plywood locally to them (no shipping allowed), be confident in basic wood assembly, and know someone who can weld.
All Golden Ticket EXIT SUIT makers must promise to limit their production to twelve suits a year. On your hearts.
Games Devs and modders are encouraged to also get involved.
Finished rigs will be made available for local games developers and modders to test and develop experiences specifically for the suit.
More information on the Golden Tickets to be released soon...
This will be co-design. The future is handmade. Grow up.
Look after the planet.
