Waterfalls and Wild Camping in Snowdonia Eryri, Wales Wild Cat Adventures 2025-09-07 | As usual things didn't go to plan but I definitely made the most of it. After moving to Plan C I found a lovely little camp spot with views down the beautiful Ogwen Valley. Decided to go for a little dip in a mountain stream before heading off on an adventure to find a 'secret' waterfall. This place isn't sign posted and not really known about which made it all the more special! Turns out you can camp there so hopefully I'll return in the future for another wild camp. A Haunted Castle, Abandoned Quarry & Unexpected Dogging Hot Spot Wild Cat Adventures 2025-08-31 | Our adventure began so well, camping at an 800-year-old castle with breathtaking views over the valley and a starry night sky that made everything feel magical. The next day, we explored an abandoned quarry, known as the Welsh Angkor Wat, with its crumbling buildings wrapped in vines, slowly being reclaimed by nature. We took a dip in the crystal clear water before heading to the beach for another swim in the sea.After that, we made our way to a much more dramatic quarry, used as a filming location for House of the Dragon. When we set up camp, the weather was beautiful and calm, but by dinner, the wind had started to pick up. What began as a gentle breeze quickly turned into gale-force winds, ripping pegs out and bending poles. This place was UNREAL! Abandoned Mines and Wild Camping in Wales Wild Cat Adventures 2025-06-08 | Hidden in the hills of Snowdonia Eryri is an amazing place called the binocular tunnels! The sound inside the tunnels was like nothing I've experienced! Nearby is another hidden treasure - Little Italy, a tiny replica village of Italian monuments lovingly hand made by a man and his wife over 25 years. Almost lost amongst the undergrowth as nature reclaims the land, an absolute gem to find! And of course what trip would be complete without a wild camp, we even had our own Olympic sized swimming pool all to ourselves! With a view of the sun setting over the sea this really was one of the best places I've ever camped! 3 MINUTE WATCH: The Bushcraft Show 2024 Wild Cat Adventures 2024-06-02 | 1st time working at the Bushcraft Show! It was hard graft all weekend but met some great people and still managed to find time for fun, food and a wander round. I recommend taking a large wallet lol, so much good gear to buy everything from cooking, clothes, knives, and camping gear, not to mention all the activities and workshops!
