Unreleased Medal of Honor PSP Pitch PRIOR to the PSPs Release! PtoPOnline 2024-02-13 | This pitch video, recorded sometime in early 2004, is fairly signficant. Climax Handheld was one of the earliest UK developers to begin work for the PlayStation Portable. This work started before the hardware was even done, primarily using the PSP emulator that Sony created to help developers. This is one of a few pitches that they created, not just as a potential Medal of Honor title but rather to show what they could do on the handheld in a short period of time.There is no sound because there wasn't sound in the original recording.In addition to this demo, they also created demos for MotoGP, a demo showcasing a Quake 3 level, a Disney Incredibles demo, and at least one more, which I will keep secret for the time being.They would eventually get the opportunity to test their code on early PSP hardware as well. https://bsky.app/profile/borman.bsky.social

Hot Wheels World Race : Unreleased Top-Down GBA Prototype Footage PtoPOnline 2023-12-16 | When Hot Wheels World Race was in development, the initial plan was for a top down racer, similar to many others and arguably better suited for both the budget and the hardware. Despite the plan seemingly being okayed by higher-ups, the directive came down to change the game to a Mode 7 style racer, and so they did with limited time, and as far as I can tell, no true extra resources. So while the game technically isn't unreleased, and shares the same genes as its final counterpart, it is radically different. No real sound effects in this one, and technically you can change the car in the race but I forgot to. This build is from March 3, 2003, around 2 months prior to the Mode 7 takeover. Unreal Tournament 2007 (3) Sony PS3 Demo Almost Restored PtoPOnline 2023-07-28 | I finally took a look at the e3 2005 era UE3 reveal demo that was shown at the Sony Conference. I haven't been able to fix the entire thing, but it looks a lot better now. One thing to note, I was going to sync up the audio from the press conference, but this version is clearly different in its timing, so it didn't quite work out, thus no audio at all.

Title Defense - The Unreleased DC/PS2/Xbox/GC/PC Boxing Game PtoPOnline 2023-04-13 | This is a tech demo by Climax meant to try to sell the concept to a publisher and is running on PC. This version was clearly meant for SEGA, and is from April 21, 1999, but others such as Acclaim also received the pitch.It is extremely basic, featuring an autodemo if the program is left running, but allows one to two players to jump in. It's a weird control setup, so I don't do all the moves, but there are uppercuts and that sort of thing.The concept of doing a boxing game would be floated around during the following years, including one attempt called HBO Boxing, but ultimately it was never picked up.
