ACA Allertor 125| Upson County, GA| Alert Signal Andrew Thomas 2022-02-16 | This Allertor located at the Upson county water department on Yatesville highway was refurbished and installed by McCranie Warning Systems of Rhine, Ga. This siren replaced an STH-10 and is tested on the first and third Wednesday of each month at 1pm, weather permitting. On a side note Allertors are much louder than I had anticipated and I was thoroughly impressed. Great Job Jeb! Another job well done!

Manchester, Georgia Thunderbolt 1000AT At Night (Re-Upload) Andrew Thomas 2021-09-16 | This is a very old video. From 10 years ago actually. I re-uploaded it to keep the memory of his beast alive. What you hear is a blast of the 2001-130 which unfortunately the wind up was not captured in this video because this was an unexpected activation. The the Thunderbolt winds up and serves a bone chilling apocalyptic wail echoing across Manchester. I will never forget that horrifying sound! This siren was in service from 1963 to 2012 so it got its job done and passed the torch to its successor the 2001-130 which if I recall correctly was installed in Early 2007. The Thunderbolt is now refurbished and owned by an enthusiast in Georgia. Who, I’m not quite sure. The guy that refurbished it sold it. Enjoy!
