H2Fly
This video shows the limit of what is possible. In September 2023, h2Fly took to the skies in the worlds first manned fuel cell powered aircraft, feeded with liquid hydrogen. What a milestone for a clean aviaiton.

Hy4 - Hydrogen electric fuel cell propulsion - zero emission passenger plane
The Hy4 is the first four seater, propelled by a hydrogen fuel cell only. In a fuel cell, hydrogen and axygen is converte into electric power and water. The electric power is used for the electric motor. the only emission here is water. The advantages are, that you can reach long ranges, the short refilling time on ground (similar to fossil fuels) and of course the zero emissions. This fuel cell plane builts the the basis for a climate-friendly aviation.
During the Tour, the Toyota team will refuel exclusively with CO2-neutral hydrogen produced and head for a number of key players from the research and industry sectors on the topic of hydrogen and fuel cells along the way.
