It was called cold Lake because it was supposed to be the first tournament of the season and well that should say at all.It was basically just a fun tournament with a bunch of guys getting together to go see if we could hunt for some bass. I have to admit I was definitely slacking on my pre-trip checklist and took a gamble and of course, as you can see in the video, the reason why we couldn’t make it for check in. It was still an absolute great day and super hot with a bunch of friends so I couldn’t ask for anything more but unfortunately, now I can never say I’ve ever been disqualified from a tournament lol

Ice Castle Christmas on Lake Winnipeg (Gaune Fishing Adventures) Reel Life With Mike 2026-01-11 | Kali and I were setting out for our annual camping overnight on the ice for Christmas eve until a Christmas miracle came driving by and his name was Chris Gaune of GAUNE FISHING ADVENTURES.He graciously offered up his time and one of his ice castles so we could have a memorable Christmas overnight. The Delta Marsh Sleeping Giants Reel Life With Mike 2025-07-08 | If there is one place that I would recommend to go fishing for some big sleeping giants that would be at the Delta Marsh.The delta marsh is located just southeast of Lake Manitoba and is home to some pretty large Carp, Buffalo and Drum.Although at some parts of the season it can be like shooting fish in a barrel, the fight is still worth it. I though this would be great time to update you on the run time of the portable battery.The cooler was only powered by the separate magnetic battery and after two 8-9 hour days on the water, in the sun, the battery still had 45% left.
