Irinka17 2012-06-09 | I was really inspired by this music and also so tired of all the exams that I couldn't come up with a proper plot. So this vid started out as a pure stream of consciousness. And it was so deliberating - not to think about anything, just go with the flow...At first I didn't understand the characters, they seemed so broken to me and I was wondering what happened to them...but then after I finished the first half of the vid I started to listen to them, to their story that they had been trying to tell me the whole time. I'm still not sure whether I understood them well but I hope you enjoy it nonetheless..You must think I'm completely crazy but who isn't? :D Please, let me know what your thoughts on the vid and the story are. It was a great pleasure to watch your entries and it was really hard to choose the winners. I realize the results are based on my subjective feelings but there wasn't any other way to judge this contest, so I just went with my gut feeling (because this was about the feeling of Twilight saga). However, my sister, a trusted advisor of mine who comments on my editing and whose opinion is really dear to me, helped me to choose the winners - so it is not completely based on my subjective opinion. Breaking Dawn - When the joys of living just leave you cold (EPOV) [to 1,000+ subscribers] Irinka17 2011-09-17 | PLEASE READ AND WATCH IN 720pI reached 1,000+ subscribers and that deserves something very special, so I give you a vid that means really much to me and I've put to it as much thought and emotion as I could because it's about a part I probably like best from the whole saga. - The pregnancy and the birth (just FYI not that I liked them suffering but the strength of their love and devotion was probably most palpable there. Although it sometimes annoyed me that it was from Jacob's POV...). While making this vid I had this wonderful experience of reliving this part of Breaking Dawn, I touched the emotions I felt when I was reading it. I hope it will touch you in a way too. And if you don't like the vid, you can close your eyes and listen to the song because I asure you it's gorgeous. It's one of the most emotive, beautiful, powerful songs I've heard in a long timeINFO about the footage: If you've seen the latest trailer, there are no spoilers for you. I don't have any extra BD footage, so don't worry :) )I fell in love with this song the first time I heard it. At first the lyrics reminded me of Bella in New Moon but it still didn't feel right and the song is so full of emotion that it deserved to be done with something special not just another depressing New Moon vid. So I put it in the back of my head for later. And then I saw the latest Breaking Dawn trailer and I can't even describe how much I love it. I was crying when I was watching it, I remembered the song and suddenly I understood the lyrics from totally different perspective - Edward's perspective in Breaking Dawn. He's devasted because of what happened to Bella. He's loosing her, she's dying in front of him and because of him. Although the line 'This will make you love again' was kinda tricky to make it work with my idea. But I've come with this explanation - Edward is in such a pain, the happy memories of them (as in strophe 2) makes him feel love again not only pain...and the last strophe is about saving his love aka the birth scene. Shes like the wind - Edwards POV (remake) Irinka17 2011-08-15 | So this is a remake of one of my old vids. I really love the song and I played with the sound a lot back then (the original song is combined with the piano version by David Osborne) but I really really hated the video I made to it. When I watched it a few weeks ago, I couldn't stand looking at it because at every bit of the vid I was asking myself WHY - why I chose this awful color, this scene, this enormous watermark etc. etc...Then I thought to myself - hey, if I hate it so much, I can change it. So I did. And now I can finally watch it and enjoy the beautiful song and lyrics without thinking about the crappy editing. We could use only one main effect. And we had some basic additional effects allowed such as pan crop and zooming. This fact really made me happy cause you know I can't do without all the close ups! :D But the coloring - it was a real challenge! We weren't allowed to have a proper coloring. We could only use black and white and contrast...And you know the twilight colors are awful...so I hope you enjoy it even with these hideous colors...ugh...So I chose velocity (speeding up/slowing clips) as my main effect. This effect is really important for me because I like capturing feelings and emotions. As you can tell from the title, it's an allusion to the famous movie Interview with the Vampire. Those of you who have seen this movie know that this music is at the beginning of the story when Louis starts telling his "life" story to the interviewer. So I was inspired by this...Bella wants to be changed and Edward tells her his story full of horrors and hurt...You know that in his former years as a vampire he killed many people. It begins with Alice's vision. Edward's trying to deal with the information that Bella will die or be one of them and also that he will be in love with her I wanted to show Edward falling in love with Bella and finish it at the moment when he realizes that this change will be permanent.--------------------------------------------------------------------------------I know the bed scene is quite long. Twilight AU (READ THE DESCRIPTION - PLOT!) Irinka17 2010-06-19 | This is AU. It is such a crappy vid, I'm sure you'll get bored...trough watching the vid or reading the plot :-D There aren't many effects because I wanted to make something like mini AU twilight movie...There are mistakes...grr...but I enjoyed making it and playing with the dialogs and story...well hope you enjoy it a little bit. Please read the description otherwise you might not understand! Also this vid is full of dialogs and some of them are changed a little bit so I've put subtitles to it in case you can't hear it clearly trough the music. She died in a fire. Bella was trying to save her and did everything for her rescue but it was too late and now Bella's also dying of disease caused by the fire and fall...but she's not afraid of death because she's suffering from emotional (she's having terrible nightmares that won't let her sleep) and also physical pain. So she considers death as a salvation. Nobody even not her dead knows she's dying. When she meets Edward she doesn't fall in love with him right away. At first she's angry with him because he saved her and didn't let her die. When she finds out he's a vampire she isn't afraid of him because part of her hopes he will give in to his instincts and eventually kill her. But when Edward tells her how he's trying to be good she abandons this idea because she doesn't wanna ruin his life because of her, so she jumps off the cliff.... On the other hand Edward is madly in love with her from the beginning. She's so vulnerable and lost, he wants to save her, she gives him a reason to live. Bella doesn't understand him and thinks she isn't good enough for him. Then Bella is having one of her nightmares, when she wakes up Edward's at her side and he is trying to comfort her. Eventually she falls asleep in his arms -- safe, no nightmares. Then she finds out she loves him too...both of them found a reason to live... but the only solution is to change her.
