Heat up one edge of the screen2. Slide the thinnest metal pry tool between the screen and housing then gently lift part of the screen that you've heated up3. Continue to heat up the edge and slide your thicker guitar pick style pry tools underneath the screen.4. Slide the pry tools around the edge as you heat up the screen and loosen the adhesive.5. Once the screen is fully lifted, cut any remaining strands of adhesive and carefully lift it from the side opposite the volume buttons. 6. Remove the four screws that hold in the metal brackets of the screen connections then remove the brackets.7. Disconnect the screen connector cables. 8. Clean off any remaining adhesive on the frame of the iPad. 9. Lay down fresh double-sided tape and cut it round in the corners.10. Remove the magnets from the old screen and set them into the new screen.11. Connect the screen and test it for functionality then reinstall the brackets and screws.12. Remove the paper covering the adhesive and lay the screen in place then press down around the edge of the screen and make sure it's flush with the housing. If its not, the screen ribbon cables may have gotten stuck between the screen and the housing and you will need to push them out of the way. 13.
