Geoff Keighley has messed with the KH fans who always ask about news and updates for KHIV. He himself has said how they need time to work on the game and that nothing can be done other than waiting. Kingdom Hearts Missing Link getting cancelled is a bad thing. criticperfect 2025-05-16 | Hey there! I just wanted to make this video because a lot has happened with Kingdom Hearts. After no information for 3 years we finally got some KHIV news, but this came at the cost of canceling KHML. I made this video because of the people who are celebrating the cancellation of this game, and how that is not a good thing. Square Enix trying to soften the blow of this cancellation somewhat worked, but I still wanted to speak on how overall this game getting cancelled is bad for the series as a whole. The only plus to all of this is the direction the series is headed now will be one that is focused on story focused games rather than gatcha games with story in them. It does a fantastic job of setting up the precedence of how each region will be like for the rest of the game. The Grasslands sets a standard that no other regions seem to fail at reaching or even exceeding and visually, this is my favorite region in the game.
