The Lotus series consists of three racing computer games based around the Lotus brand: Lotus Esprit Turbo Challenge, Lotus Turbo Challenge 2, and Lotus III: The Ultimate Challenge. Published between 1990 and 1992 by Gremlin Graphics, the games gained very favorable reviews upon release. Original Amiga versions of the games were created by Shaun Southern and Andrew Morris of Magnetic Fields, and then ported by other individuals to several other computers and game consoles.
The third game in the series combined the gameplay aspects of its predecessors, allowing players to choose between racing opponents of Lotus Turbo Challenge or the arcade-like time trials of Lotus 2. The two-player option was retained and the music selection feature returns (Patrick Phelan's soundtrack to Lotus III spawned many modern remixes). Lotus III also added a third car - a concept Lotus M200 automobile - and allowed the player to choose which one to race with. The game recycled most of the graphics from Lotus 2, but added a number of new sceneries.
The Genesis/Mega Drive version bears the name Lotus II: RECS (referring to the game's new course creation feature) or simply Lotus II depending on country of release, while the MS-DOS port released in 1993 was called Lotus: The Ultimate Challenge. The MS-DOS version features the Lotus Esprit S4 instead of the Esprit Turbo SE. Apart from the slightly different car's graphics, the difference in gameplay is minimal, if any. The MS-DOS version was released again in 1996, this time on a CD-ROM.
Lotus III features a Racing Environment Construction Set (RECS) course creation system. The system allows users to create a race track by defining various basic parameters, such as number and difficulty of turns and hills, number of obstacles, type of scenery or difficulty of opponents. The created track can then be raced by one or both players. The course can also be written in form of a letter-and-digit code and later reused; these can be raced individually or in a series of up to nine user-created tracks.

‒‒‒‒‒‒‒Dragon Ball Sparking Zero - Vegetas Saga - Majin Buu Arc - Chapter 3Khonziel2024-10-17 | Several years after Gohan's defeat of Cell, Vegeta hears that Goku will be returning for the World Tournament. Eager for a rematch, he enters the competition and trains relentlessly with Trunks. However, before their match can happen, they become entangled in a mission to stop the wizard Babidi from reviving Majin Buu. Fueled by his frustration and desire for power, Vegeta allows Babidi to control his mind, hoping to regain the ruthless warrior he once was. Even under Babidi’s influence, Vegeta defies his orders, aiming instead to finally settle his score with Goku.
As their battle intensifies, news of Majin Buu’s awakening forces Vegeta to set aside his rivalry with Goku. Realizing the danger Buu poses, Vegeta knocks Goku unconscious and faces Buu alone, ultimately sacrificing himself in a powerful self-destructive attack. Though his sacrifice isn’t enough to defeat Buu, Vegeta is brought back to life and, after learning of Buu’s destruction of Earth, agrees to fuse with Goku using the Potara earrings, forming Vegito. Together, they overwhelm Buu, only to be absorbed and forced to free their friends from inside the monster.
Despite their efforts, Buu transforms into a more chaotic form and destroys Earth. Vegeta and the others escape to the Land of the Kais, where the final battle begins. After a fierce fight, Vegeta suggests Goku create a massive Spirit Bomb to finish Majin Buu once and for all. While Goku gathers energy, Vegeta holds off Buu in a last-ditch effort to save the universe.

‒‒‒‒‒‒‒Dragon Ball Sparking Zero - Vegetas Saga - Parental Bond (What If...) - Chapter 2Khonziel2024-10-16 | After escaping his battle with Vegeta, Android 20 is revealed to be Dr. Gero of the Red Ribbon Army. He flees to his secret lab, but Vegeta follows him closely. There, Dr. Gero awakens Androids 17 and 18, only for them to betray and kill him. They also activate Android 16 before leaving. Vegeta quickly engages Android 18 in battle, and despite a long, hard fight, he struggles to gain the upper hand. Meanwhile, Goku informs Vegeta about the Hyperbolic Time Chamber, and Vegeta decides to train inside it with Trunks to increase their strength.
Inside the chamber, Vegeta and Trunks spar intensely. Trunks' secret powered-up form is no match for Vegeta, teaching him a valuable lesson about relying on more than just brute strength. Their time together in the chamber also helps them bond as father and son. After their training, they rush to confront Cell, who has already absorbed Android 17 and is on the verge of absorbing 18. Vegeta doesn't stop him, confident he can defeat Cell even in his perfect form. When Vegeta battles Perfect Cell, their clash reveals unimaginable power, setting the stage for Cell to announce his own tournament—the Cell Games.
During the ten days leading up to the Cell Games, Vegeta throws himself into intense training. On the day of the tournament, Vegeta is the first to challenge Cell. Despite a strong start, Vegeta is gradually overwhelmed. Just as Cell is about to kill Vegeta, Trunks steps in to save his father, taking heavy damage in the process. Enraged, Vegeta unleashes one final, desperate attack on Cell, pouring all his fury into the strike.

‒‒‒‒‒‒‒Dragon Ball Sparking Zero - Vegetas Saga - Planet Namek Arc - Chapter 1Khonziel2024-10-15 | Vegeta, the proud Saiyan prince, initially arrives on Earth seeking the Dragon Balls after hearing Raditz's final transmission. However, after a fierce battle with Goku and his allies, he sets his sights on Planet Namek, aiming to claim the Dragon Balls before Frieza can. Upon arrival, Vegeta dispatches Cui and later Dodoria, tapping into Frieza's scouter communications to learn the Dragon Balls' secrets. In a strategic move, he hides one Dragon Ball and plans to steal the others once they are gathered.
During his time on Namek, Vegeta faces off against Zarbon, who transforms and nearly kills him, revealing Frieza's own hidden power. After recovering from his injuries, Vegeta grows even stronger, defeating Zarbon in their rematch. However, his victory is short-lived, as the Ginyu Force arrives. Forming a temporary alliance with Krillin and Gohan, Vegeta manages to eliminate Guldo but struggles against Recoome. Goku's timely arrival turns the tide, and Vegeta uses the chaos to track down the Dragon Balls. After Ginyu's body-swapping antics are thwarted, Vegeta takes a brief rest, only to find Gohan and Krillin summoning Porunga. Just as their final wish is made, Grand Elder Guru dies, causing the Dragon Balls to turn to stone, and Frieza arrives, furious at having been outmaneuvered.
With Frieza's arrival, Vegeta faces his greatest challenge yet as the Saiyan prince prepares for the impending battle against the tyrant, knowing that the fate of Namek and the Dragon Balls hangs in the balance.

As a Hunter, players navigate this grim world, uncovering the secrets of the plague while battling nightmarish creatures and otherworldly entities.
Played from a third-person perspective, "Bloodborne" allows players to control a customizable protagonist. The gameplay emphasizes strategic combat, where players use a variety of weapons, including trick weapons and firearms, to defeat diverse enemies. Exploration is a key element, with players interacting with non-player characters and delving into the mysteries of Yharnam. Development of the game began in 2012 under the code name Project Beast, drawing significant influence from the Dark Souls series, the writings of H. P. Lovecraft and Bram Stoker, and architectural elements from countries like Romania and the Czech Republic.
Widely regarded as one of the greatest video games ever made, "Bloodborne" received acclaim for its gameplay, atmosphere, sound design, Lovecraftian themes, and interconnected world. While its initial technical performance received some criticism, post-launch updates addressed these issues. The game was expanded with the release of the downloadable content "The Old Hunters" in November 2015. By February 2022, "Bloodborne" had sold 7.46 million copies, and its success has led to various adaptations, including a card game, board game, and comic book series.

I used the same tank build with a blood spear for all the fights, despite my preference for parrying on this boss, which became almost impossible due to lag. It was super fun, and I’ll definitely be helping more people!
All the fights occurred between July 11 and August 3, 2024.

Originally released for arcades in 1995, it was later ported to the PlayStation in 1996. This arcade version was eventually included in Tekken 5's Arcade History mode for the PlayStation 2. The game introduces a robust roster and innovative gameplay mechanics that contributed to its critical acclaim and commercial success.
The game features a total of 25 fighters, including 17 returning characters and eight newcomers. The home console version also introduced new modes that became staples of the series, such as Survival, Team Battle, Time Attack, and Practice modes. Tekken 2 achieved significant commercial success, becoming one of the best-selling PlayStation games with approximately 40,000 arcade units and 5.7 million PlayStation copies sold worldwide. This success paved the way for its sequel, Tekken 3, released in 1997.
Tekken 2's gameplay builds on its predecessor with some notable additions. It continues to use 2D backgrounds and an infinite playing field, with a fighting system that employs four buttons: left punch, right punch, left kick, and right kick. New features include attack reversals, back throws, chain-throws, and a unique sidestep for characters Kazuya Mishima and Heihachi Mishima. Yoshimitsu also has a spinning sidestep that decreases his health. The game modifies tackles to inflict more damage when running from a greater distance. Unlocking characters in the arcade version is done through a "time release" system and secret codes, while the home console version requires clearing Arcade Mode with different characters.

‒‒‒‒‒‒‒Tekken 1 Movie Theater - All Cinematics and Character Endings - PlayStation (PS1)Khonziel2024-08-04 | Tekken 鉄拳, a fighting game developed and published by Namco, debuted in arcades in 1994 and was later ported to the PlayStation in 1995. This first entry in the Tekken series received positive reviews and was followed by Tekken 2 in 1995. Players select characters to engage in hand-to-hand combat, controlling each fighter's four limbs independently. The game typically features two rounds of combat, with customizable options for up to five rounds and variable time limits. If a round's time limit expires, the character with more health wins; otherwise, the round is a draw. The game includes various real-world-inspired locations, such as Acropolis, Angkor Wat, and Venice, displayed in the bottom right corner, with stages randomized during gameplay and not linked to specific characters.
The original arcade version of Tekken features eight playable fighters, each facing a unique "sub-boss" in Stage 8 before battling the final boss, Heihachi Mishima. These sub-bosses share movesets with their counterparts, distinguished by only a few unique moves. In the arcade version, neither the sub-bosses nor Heihachi are playable, but the PlayStation port made them unlockable by completing Arcade Mode with various characters. The console version also introduced Devil, Kazuya's alter ego and Heihachi's final boss, who becomes a costume for Kazuya upon completing the Galaga-based minigame. This port expanded the roster to 17 playable fighters and included cutscenes unlocked by finishing Arcade Mode with each of the original eight characters.
When Kazuya Mishima was five, his father, Heihachi Mishima, tested his strength by throwing him off a mountain to determine if he was fit to inherit the Mishima Zaibatsu. Kazuya survived, bearing a large chest scar, and later made a pact with Devil for immense power. Despite climbing back, Heihachi still deemed him unworthy and adopted the Chinese orphan Lee Chaolan as Kazuya's rival. Twenty-one years later, Kazuya, now a martial arts champion with an undefeated record except for a draw against American fighter Paul Phoenix, enters the King of Iron Fist Tournament organized by Heihachi to prove his worth. Kazuya defeats many competitors, including Lee, and narrowly bests Paul. In the tournament's final stages, Kazuya faces Heihachi in an emotional father-son battle, ultimately triumphing and throwing Heihachi off the same cliff, assuming control of the Mishima Zaibatsu with a smile.

In the tournament's final stages, Kazuya faces Heihachi in an emotional father-son battle, ultimately triumphing and throwing Heihachi off the same cliff, assuming control of the Mishima Zaibatsu with a smile.SoulCalibur (1999) Dreamcast #retrogaming #dreamcast #sega #soulcalibur #gamingKhonziel2024-07-20 | Soulcalibur is a weapon-based 3D fighting game developed by Project Soul and produced by Namco, serving as the second installment in the Soulcalibur series, following Soul Edge from December 1995. Initially released in arcades on July 30, 1998, it utilized the Namco System 12 hardware and was later ported to the Dreamcast in 1999 with enhanced features and graphics. As a launch title for the Dreamcast in North America in September 1999, it contributed to the console's successful debut. The game became downloadable on the Xbox 360's Xbox Live Marketplace in July 2008 and is forward compatible with the Xbox One, along with its sequel, Soulcalibur II. The storyline revolves around the pursuit of the cursed weapon Soul Edge, wielded by the murderous Nightmare, with other warriors seeking to either claim or destroy the weapon to stop his rampage. Developed alongside Namco's Tekken team, Soulcalibur introduced innovations such as a strong focus on weapons and an eight-way movement system. It received unanimous critical acclaim, achieving a 98 rating on Metacritic and becoming the second-highest-rated video game of all time, winning numerous Game of the Year awards and earning a reputation as one of the greatest fighting games and video games ever made.
One of Soulcalibur's major gameplay innovations over its predecessor, Soul Edge, is the eight-way run, which allows characters to move freely in any direction by holding the joystick in the desired direction, enhancing strategic depth. This contrasts with previous 3D fighters that offered limited lateral movement through sidesteps and rolls. Additionally, Soulcalibur introduced "forgiving buffering," enabling players to input commands for moves before their character completes the previous action, making it easier to execute quick move sequences. Unlike the strict timing requirements in games like Tekken and Virtua Fighter, Soulcalibur's lenient buffering system facilitates smoother play. The game also expanded the Guard Impact mechanic from Soul Edge, providing a wider range of techniques for offensive blocking, including pushing back or redirecting attacks and stunning opponents by swatting away their weapons.
Soulcalibur was initially intended to feature an entirely new cast except for Mitsurugi from Soul Edge. However, by the final roster for the Dreamcast version, nine of the eleven characters from Soul Edge (Cervantes, Hwang, Seong Mi-na, Mitsurugi, Rock, Siegfried, Sophitia, Taki, and Voldo) were retained, along with ten new characters. In the South Korean version, Mitsurugi was replaced by an English-Japanese swordsman named Arthur. Cervantes appeared exclusively outside the original arcade version, and the final boss, Inferno, was made playable. The arcade version used a staggered Time Release system for hidden characters, similar to the Tekken series, with additional codes available on the Namco website. Many new characters were modeled after existing ones, such as Maxi's style influenced by Li Long. The only entirely new style introduced was Ivy's. Characters like Xianghua, Maxi, Yoshimitsu, Astaroth, Kilik, Nightmare, and Lizardman were based on Hwang, Li Long, Mitsurugi, Rock, Seong Mi-na, Siegfried, and Sophitia, respectively. Since Soulcalibur, Namco has worked to differentiate each character's style to make them unique.Soul Blade/Soul Edge (1997) #PlayStation #SoulBlade #SoulCalibur #SoulEdge #gaming #retrogaming #PS1Khonziel2024-07-19 | Soul Blade aka Soul Edge, is the first installment in Namco's Soulcalibur series of 3D fighting games, debuted at the JAMMA trade show in November 1995, with the full arcade game releasing in early 1996. An upgraded and expanded version was later ported to the PlayStation in December, renamed Soul Blade in North America, Europe, and Australia. The game's plot revolves around a mysterious sword believed to offer unlimited power, with nine warriors embarking on a journey to find and either claim or destroy it. Soul Blade was a commercial and critical success, leading to its sequel, Soulcalibur, in July 1998.
Soul Blade, created before the introduction of the 8-Way Run, allows characters to sidestep by double-tapping down to move to the foreground or tapping down then up to move to the background. The game features higher jumps compared to Soulcalibur, akin to Tekken, and utilizes an active block system with three attack buttons: horizontal attack, vertical attack, and kick. The characters' moves reflect the feel of Namco's Tekken series, each having slow but unblockable attacks and "Critical Edge" attacks—extended combos requiring specific inputs. These moves deplete the Weapon Gauge, a life bar for the character's weapon that diminishes with each block, potentially leaving the character to fight unarmed with a universal move set. Unique to Soul Blade, characters can engage in a "Guard Impact" maneuver to intercept and counter incoming attacks, a feature expanded in later series entries. The game also employs a ring out system where knocking an opponent out of the arena results in an automatic victory, except for Cervantes and Inferno, who can self-ring out with certain attacks.
Set in 1583, Soul Blade follows the quest of nine warriors seeking the legendary sword "Soul Edge," known by many names such as "The Sword of Salvation" and "The Ultimate Sword." This powerful weapon, now a twin pair of long swords, mysteriously appeared at an auction and was taken by the feared pirate Cervantes de Leon, whose fate remains unknown. Each warrior—Hwang, Li Long, Mitsurugi, Rock, Seong Mi-na, Siegfried, Sophitia, Taki, and Voldo—pursues the sword for personal reasons: some desire its power, others seek revenge, some believe it to be a benevolent force, while others aim to destroy it. The sword, however, is cursed, bringing misfortune and feeding on the souls of its victims and wielders alike.Street Fighter: The Movie (1995) #PlayStation #streetfighter #ps1 #psx #retro #retrogamingKhonziel2024-07-18 | A game based on a movie based on a game 😅 Street Fighter: The Movie, a head-to-head fighting game released for the PlayStation and Sega Saturn in 1995, was a North American launch title for the PlayStation. It is based on the 1994 live-action Street Fighter movie, which is itself based on the Street Fighter series of fighting games, and features digitized images of the film's cast as characters. While sharing its title with the arcade game Street Fighter: The Movie, the home version is a distinct game developed on the same premise. This version was developed and published by Capcom in Japan and released in North America and Europe by Acclaim Entertainment.
The game features the same digitized images of the film's cast as the arcade version, but the sprites are processed differently, backgrounds are entirely new, and the combat system is more akin to Super Street Fighter II Turbo. Players can execute "Super Special Moves," more powerful versions of regular Special Moves, requiring the Super Combo gauge to be at least half-full and performed by pressing two attack buttons instead of one. With a full Super Combo gauge, unlimited Super Specials can be performed until a Super Combo is executed. The game offers four modes: "Movie Battle," a story mode following Guile's mission in Shadaloo City with branching paths leading to final battles against Sagat, Bison, and Final Bison, culminating in a music video of "Something There" by Chage & Aska; "Street Battle," an arcade-style mode with twelve opponents ending with Zangief, Dee-Jay, Sagat, and Bison; "Vs. Mode," a standard two-player mode; and "Trial Mode," where players fight the entire roster for high scores or quick times. Each character has new musical themes during battles.
The home version of Street Fighter: The Movie features many characters from the arcade version but with notable roster differences. Captain Sawada, from the original film, is present in both versions, though his special moves differ from the arcade game. The original arcade character Blade and other Bison Troopers are absent from the home version. Akuma, portrayed by Ernie Reyes Sr., is a hidden character unlocked by a secret code and only appears as the final opponent in Trial Mode. Additionally, two characters from the film, Dee Jay (played by Miguel A. Núñez Jr.) and Blanka (played by Kim Repia), who were not in the arcade version, are included. Raúl Juliá, initially set to reprise his role as M. Bison, was too ill to participate before his death in October 1994, leading his stunt double, Darko Tuscan, to take on the role. Similarly, Robert Mammone, who played Blanka in the film, was replaced by stuntman Kim Repia for the game due to the complexity of the moveset.Tokyo Xtreme Racer (1999) Dreamcast #retrogaming #dreamcast #sega #racing #racinggames #tokyo #japanKhonziel2024-07-17 | Tokyo Xtreme Racer (TXR1), known as Tokyo Highway Challenge in Europe and Shutokō Battle (首都高バトル, Shutokō Batoru) in Japan, is a racing video game released for the Sega Dreamcast in 1999 as one of its launch titles. This game, one of the first mission-based racing games, involves challenging other drivers on Tokyo's Shuto Expressway to earn money for car modifications. Featuring a variety of Japanese cars and tuning parts, players progress by defeating rivals. In Japan, Shutokō Battle became one of the best-selling Dreamcast titles, drawing inspiration from the highway racing culture on Tokyo's Wangan highway, a popular phenomenon in Japan since the 1990s, and influenced by manga and anime such as Wangan Midnight, as well as other video games like C1 Circuit, Wangan Trial, and Naniwa Wangan Battle.Elden Ring DLC - ALL Boss Fights - Shadow of the ErdtreeKhonziel2024-07-15 | Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree - ALL Boss Fights.
