Over $6K damage to my tractor courtesy of the State of Indiana Herman Tibbs 2026-07-05 | First, the dash cam hadn't changed time zones yet but the clips are placed in the right places.As many of you know, Interstate 70 in Indiana has to be by far the worst road to drive on. I'm sure many of you have similar experiences with the stretch from Indianapolis to the Ohio border.This happened to me between mile markers 142 and 143 near Richmond. I was running from 44-52 in the zone. Note the sign saying no trucks in the left lane and so this was the start of the entire ordeal.As a result, I'm getting new steer tires(70% tread remaining, a new left shock(and the entire set was only 2 weeks old), new bearings and seals on the left steer, new drag link, new tie rod assembly and leaf spring bushings on the back.The truck had just gotten it's PM a few days prior and got a full inspection in the process. The right wheel seal(s) was(were) replaced during this PM.This is actually the second of my trucks that this road has damaged. The first one was my old truck (a 2016 ProStar) and this one is a 2022 LT.If more of you are dealing with this same situation with the State of Indiana, I urge all of you to file a TORT CLAIM with the State of Indiana and stay on them about resolution. I'm leaving daily voicemails with the Attorney Generals office and about to retain an attorney if this isn't settled.If you like the content, please LIKE AND SUBSCRIBE. Herman Tibbs 2025-10-24 | The driver inquired why I was giving his truck funny looks and I asked, “2 parking spaces?” He simply said with pride, “I took them both” and added “there’s many others around here. Can’t you fine one?” I told him I’m already parked. I know this Pilot is one of the tightest in the country and can be a challenge to park at but if I can put my truck in any parking space, why can’t he? Is he that lacking of skill or just rude and inconsiderate?
Driver watching videos while driving Herman Tibbs 2025-10-05 | With all of the accidents and bad publicity we drivers are getting this guy is really the epitome of a distracted driving with a video playing on his phone just off to his left and pulling FedEx doubles to boot. Another accident waiting to happen. This happened on I-70 EBD at MM 90 in Blackwater, MO in a nasty traffic jam. Fortunately I can position my cameras to get this and not be distracted.
Working again thanks to a God who hears prayers and is still in the business of healing. Herman Tibbs 2025-08-25 | Around the end of April I had to park the truck for a while. After a cystoscopy they determined that a TURBT(trans urethral resection bladder tumor) was necessary. Afterwards, the hospital system was hacked and results and answers were slow coming. I finally got some answers. Chemo/immunotherapy wasn’t necessary so I was cleared to go back to work. Keep in mind that even as of this moment we still haven’t gotten the answers (to our satisfaction) about the prostate testing done last year. After 2 months off, I came back to work and here I am.
