There's a lot of luck involved at every split in the run (except cultist), and it felt like a matter of retrying until everything aligned. It's kind of a miracle that this run ended up being fast; the early game was slow, souls/anvil ended up being fast despite not getting a usable weapon from WoF, I had to look for eye summon at shimmer, I had to guess where Jungle Temple was and dug to the other side, and had to use Solar Eclipse to move Nurse in for the Golem fight during daytime. Good rates at souls and a lucky bulb spawn were the saving graces of this run.Overall there's a decent chunk of time to be saved still, so I'll play Classic ML for a while longer to try for sub-50. I've used -20HP characters in the past, but it turns out to be a non-trivial advantage. The fishron mount speeds up when the character is at less than or equal to half of their max HP, meaning any max HP value less than or equal to 0 will have a permanently boosted fishron mount. In the end, I've just accepted that the broken UI is part of the challenge.This run is seeded, meaning the world is not randomly generated. Seed: 1.3.2.0845231719.NMA means No Major Abuses. Also faster than the classic mode WR was when I started running (1:28:36), pretty cool.Notable mistakes/timelosses):- Forgot to burn the rope during 2nd destroyer- Burning the rope before buying pylon (arms dealer and mechanic moved in which made it so I couldn't buy forest pylon)- Relogging before mechs (despawned imp summons)- Putting builder potion in the piggy instead of inventory- Forgetting to craft food before mechs- Building houses for arms dealer and nurse in desert biome- Forgetting to bring anvil to jungle (unpunished because I didn't get a good weapon from Plantera)- Forgetting to craft summoner helmet for solar pillar- Dealing too much damage to left hand during moon lordSurprisingly all of the splits were pretty decent even with these mistakes. I lucked out in a lot of areas such as:- Goat skull- Fast NPC spawn in dungeon- Finding a second bed in dungeon (didn't need to craft one)- Unreal repeater- Great Plantera's bulb- Dev wings (don't need to farm wyverns for beetle wings)- Perfect pillars terrain37:30 Destroyer is ~90 seconds slower than my best ever, and 49 min anvil to finish is slightly faster than I was averaging in practice.
