They work by a small magnet underneath reacting to the current in a copper coil wired to the Solar Panel . But obviously they can be faulty so I thought I'd save this Dancer by just stripping out the electrics and cutting away one side of the base so I could get her close to the magnet of a fully working Solar Dancer and use the magnets to reject each other and create a couple of girls dancing in harmony , instead of throwing one in the rubbish bin . You'll have to jiggle them about a bit to find the right dancing position but once found you can stick them together with glue and enjoy their routine .

Swanage High Street Diversions March 2020 , Town Centre Revamp Works Channel Cottage 2020-03-11 | Spring 2020 in Swanage and Major Diversion through the Town Centre as Institute Road is closed for safety improvements . You know have to drive down the wrong way along Kings Road East from the turning outside the Conservative Club & then turn left at the Swanage Library Junction if you want to get to Durlston Castle or Peveril Point . Hopefully this temporary diversion will be lifted in April , but it is unusual to drive the wrong way down two One Way Streets and drivers please allow for confused pedestrians who want to cross these roads but don't expect traffic from the opposite direction .
