Granted, I pretty much just followed the general story of the show, but I also tried to develop the characters and show the growth they each had to go through.I also think Toradora is just full of "contradictions" hence the song. Ryuuji's face strikes fear into all who look upon him, unbeknown to them he has a cleaning OCD under his scary exterior. Taiga sounds hostile almost all the time, but she simply wants her crush to understand her feelings. Minorin is the ideal space cadet, but sometimes lets profound feelings slip. Ami acts like a typically model on the outside, however, her true personality is secretly mocking, manipulating, and just toying with everyone around her. Pretty much every character has a mask to cover their real self.I think Eternal says it best:"We weren't written into the world by some sort of screen writer, so one could even say that it's human nature to be different, to contradict the world's preconceived expectations of you. It's like saying the opposite of what you feel, either because you can or because you have to.
