I used to just refer to them as "preview" or "premiere" animation. Basically the holy grail of sakuga. My theory is that, because they're usually backed by some huge game dev, they can afford to allow the animators to really take their time and pack as much animation into a 5-30 second sequence as they can. If you're looking for the monster that is Sunghoo Park of JJK fame or any Avatar/Korra clips, I've left them out. There's the risk of copyright (especially brutal with nick shows) but I also just didn't want to crowd this video with stuff you've already seen. For most of you, this should all be brand new footage besides a few clips that did make it more mainstream. Or you live and breath sakuga and this is nothing new lol.I sorted through about 95 clips in total for this video. I focused on including the shorter adverts in the first 4 minutes or so. Just the most chaotic high frame count sequences all strung together into one (hopefully) cohesive fight. Honestly that's kinda the whole video anyway. It may be a bit overwhelming for some with how much is happening on the screen. Its in part how chaotic they make the adverts in order to standout but you can also blame my lack of abilities as an editor for not making it more watchable (I made 15 versions of this video, I tried lol). Then there's the middle section where things slow down a bit as we focus on longer drawn out one on one fights. We pick back up in the third section with a combination of extended fights mixed in with shorter sequences strung together once again.Note that these are all youtube rips. No Blurays to source from. There was a lot of extra work dealing with high compression, artifacts, low resolution, and correcting for bizarre framerates.As for the music, I wanted it to be more digestible. There's already so much going on visually. Steady drum and bass without vocals (at least the first two songs) really keeps things chill but engaged (hopefully).
