Approximately 47.000 fans had traveled from Barcelona which is 600 km SE of Bilbao. All hotels etc fully booked. Met two American fans from San Francisco, one lady from Scotland and one Argentinean soccer writer who had traveled all the way from Buenos Aires for this I started writing about women's soccer in 2005.
