All Three Original RCT Games in ExaGear via Steam. RCT 3 on Android! Simon Nemeth 2021-10-03 | Using the unofficial ExaGear builds that are floating around now it is possible to install Steam, and via Steam, RCT 1-3. RCT Deluxe and RCT 2 Triple Thrill Pack run just fine and if I had cared to select a more appropriate control scheme they would have been quite playable. For the first time we see RCT3 running on Android! It has major graphical glitches and terrible FPS but it loads and sort of works although totally unplayable.

Wilesco D419 Kit Built Showmans Engine First Run & Lighting Test Simon Nemeth 2020-12-28 | I've just built this from a kit and installed upgraded lighting rails to make it look a little bit prettier. I'm happy enough with it though it isn't perfect. I don't think the middle drive gear is quite true and as a result it has a bit of a tight spot against the small gear on the flywheel. It doesn't seem to hinder it too much but it is quite noisy as a result. I am happy with the lighting but I intend to try it again with a looser fitting drive band to see if it can drive them a bit easier.

Taking a look at the Swan M1 Steam Engine Simon Nemeth 2020-09-17 | Apologies for sound in the first few seconds. I don't know what caused it.This is a Swan M1 manufactured by Hobran Engineering Co Ltd in Wolverhampton somewhere between 1920 and 1925. This makes it the oldest engine in my collection and quite a rare one too! It's a bit rough around the edges but nothing that can't be sorted.
VERY RARE Maroon MSS Steam Van. Simon Nemeth 2020-07-13 | This is the very first unit of an extremely limited run of 20 vans produced in this livery for distribution only via the Hobbies Handbook. This is the first unit produced to secure orders from Hobbies and is not part of the run of 20 meaning there is technically 21 of these in existence. This one had various problems when I received and because of that has had some pretty significant upgrades installed by an engineer at MSS including a fully silver soldered boiler and brass bearings fitted all round to overall smooth the running of the engine. Wilesco D305 Fire Truck First Steam Simon Nemeth 2020-05-08 | A first steam up of an unfired Wilesco fire truck. It went mostly as planned other than getting the wheel moving. The chain feels very tight although I don't know if that is the problem. The gears on the drive side of the transmission have no play to the extent I think they maybe pinching and binding on the bearing where it is mounted making it stiff. I'll poke about further.

Grand Theft Auto London 1969, Windows 10, 1080p, Widescreen Simon Nemeth 2019-11-13 | It took similar methods to getting the first one to run. Since I could only work with the CD version of this as it wasn't freely released like the others, it meant having to reorganise my drive letters to get the GTA disk as low as possible, in this case F: was the highest it could be or I had to use a no-cd executable and then the radio didn't work. As you can hear, the radio this way works partially then goes quiet but this is the best I can achieve and the game is very much playable. Enjoy.

Took some doing and I'm not entirely sure what I did to get it going though it involved enabling compatibility mode for WinXP SP3 and 16bit colour and then ultimately disabling them again when the game decided it was going to work. The game is set to DirectDraw in ThirteenAG's .ini file which gets around the horrible lag that often occurs in 800x600 resolution and above. We don't get silky framerates even with framelimiter disabled but I feel it makes the game more authentic.

I did attempt to record Spyro 2's Aquaria Towers but the hotkey didn't work and it didn't record. So this, although unintended, will have to do. Hopefully I get good sound from now on too, though I'll be sure to up the gain next time because now it's rather quiet.

I'm aware I could have completed the level by accessing the 'currently out of bounds until certain abilities have been unlocked' areas using slightly more illegitimate methods but I chose not to sort of cheat my way around it.

Considering I never did it on the PS4, I thought I'd give you the Artisans homeworld on PC. Excuse the nastiness in the Toasty realm. I have no Idea what happened there but I haven't died there in a long time. I didn't enter the Sunny Flight realm simply because I've never actually liked those flight realms. They feel more like bonus mini games than complete realms.

I know I didn't check the safety valve in the video but I can assure you it absolutely was not seized as I thoroughly cleaned it and fitted a new fibre washer and O ring as part of the overall clean up of the engine.2. That clear fuel is definitely meths and NOT white spirit. It's bleached as it got left in the garden for several months.There is more info in the video.

There were no doubts with this engine. It had had a complete rebuild and a brand new boiler when I got it and this was its first run with me. Dated May 2016.
Mamod SL1 Test Run Simon Nemeth 2019-03-11 | As you can see, this old thing is in quite a state from who ever owned it previously. The main worry was the corrosion on the boiler. Fortunately this proved not to be a problem as it ran like a dream with not a single leak other than a drip or two from the engine faces but I have yet to find a Mamod that doesn't do that, even in immaculate condition.
