Overview of the Online Filing Process for Form I-134, Declaration of Financial Support USCIS 2022-09-29 | On April 21, 2022, President Biden announced Uniting for Ukraine, a new streamlined process that provides a pathway for Ukrainian citizens and their immediate family members who were displaced by Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, and are outside the United States, to come to the U.S. and apply for parole. If granted, parole allows Ukrainians to stay temporarily for up to a two-year period. USCIS is proud to deliver on the President’s commitment to welcome and support the Ukrainian people.Individuals who wish to participate in the Uniting for Ukraine process must have a supporter in the United States who agrees to provide the beneficiaries with financial support for the duration of their stay in the United States.
