Unfortunately, life doesn't always go as planed and sometimes turns to shit... Our dear friend and exceptional human Matt Munting left us, which broke our hearts and mindsets heavily. One month later, a few days before leaving for Norway, my camera operator, the legendary Leo Taillefer had a paragliding accident and had to spend a long time in hospital rather than shooting the documentary with us. It's with a heavy heart that I decided to still go fly with my friends in Norway, but without any expectations, apart from trying to heal the mind.Then we discovered what is Norway's "summer"... a very complicated weather for base jumping and camera settings...Though, looking for positivity in every corner, I manage to film 70 jumps, proving that my high speed cinelifters properly work, and it's possible to fly long range above 200 km/h even under the rain or through clouds with cinema cameras as RED Komodo 6k or Freefly Wave System. Not even a propeller got broken during these 3 weeks.Please haters, note that I only am a drone pilot and drone builder.... editing and color grading this footage is a proper job, and I obviously didn't have the budget to pay for someone to do it... ;) so I had to just do my best, which is probably so far of what could be done. I'm interested in proving that it's possible to do this, I'm not saying that I'm the best at the editing process. A special huge thanks to Tom Erik Heimen who did guide us in his mountains during the whole trip and never forgot about me and my technical limits... Also a huge thanks to Malachi Templeton who allowed us to stay dry and actualy saved the trip by putting a roof above our heads.Thanks so much to all the base jumpers who really worked with me, and gave me each time the best chances to get the shot.The lesson I'll learn from this trip, is that 1st goal on each flight is safety, getting the shot is just a bonus. There was one close call in the 70 attempts, and even if I knew that my trajectory wasn't dangerous, I also knew that I scared the wingmen, and this is not acceptable. Thought I'm ready to keep on going and keep pushing in 2023. !! :)I'm so thankful living amazing adventures like these, and will keep trying to create occasions... the development of the drone fleet is real, and i'm very excited to see what all these new machines can do !! should be quite awesome ! Some words about some shots in this video :I think I definitely edited this video with my heart more than anything... it was important for me to show many shots that hasn't been shown / posted already. but obviously, many of them aren't "perfect" shots, but it's also interesting to show the difficulties I hit. Filming wingsuit really pushes the gear to their last limits (and the pilot also haha)for exemple, the shot at 57'' is vibrating like hell and is definitely a "unusable shot" from my pov, but actually I think it's the fastest flight I ever did, it's for sure above 230km/h I flew the whole line full throttle and the battery went in the bin straight away. Being in high altitude and crazy cold, these are situations you cannot reproduce while testing, so there is actualy no way to know if the drone is gonna work well or not... ;)For the next shot, I did put it in cuz it's an amazing moment I shared with Tomerik, but same, it's not supposed to be used cuz unstabilizable... logging the gyro with an instago2 has limits batterywise when you shoot a lot of times in a row. Though some would say that these shaky movements adds to the action feeling... for the shot at 1'30'', I'm just so happy to be able to push these drones that fast, cuz here Veush is not adapting his flight for me, I'm truly filming his sport as he would do it if I wasn't there. thats awesome ! I'm slowly closing in on the goal of building fast enough drones ;)2'11'' probably a world first for Veush here ^^3'40'' How incredible is Zip at tracking hey ? !! ;) this shot shows the top performance of both him and my Komodo rig. Super long and fast flight, precise piloting, yes from some povs the movements could be improved, I'm working on it.4'20'' Matt we miss you.4'38'' there is an awesome Easter egg in the bottom left corner you probably didn't see !!! the way Veush flairs up looks so awesome ! 5'00'' my piloting in this shot is a huge fail ! 2 really bad stick inputs, + no gyro log on this one either + 2 disgusting black stains on the lens.... well this shouldn't be shown ! I'm sad I missed some crazy stuff, I just couldn't be flying everywhere at the same time ! COLA FPV & ZIP : TRACK SUIT , RED KOMODO 6K TRAINING DAY COLA 2022-03-18 | okay !!! training day number 2 ! :)music : K.Flay - High Enough (Official Lyric Video) youtube.com/watch?v=FkFVMDlcJF8&ab_channel=KFlayVEVO After having good feelings chasing wingsuits, I wanted to push everything and try something harder, mostly to see how the big boy beast drone reacts to this... So I contacted my buddy ZIP to try to chase him with his track suit... it's a little bit faster than wingsuit, and doesn't really fly the same way, but, once more, the beast does not disappoint at all and the capacities of this machine are absolutely insane... I actualy have a bit too much power and had to manage the throttle very precisely... :) which is a great news, that opens many doors about speed...Can't wait to get more occasions like this...As you can see, the weather was far from great and I probably played way too much with the camera and lens settings that lead me to many mistakes... but thats the way to learn !!! (at list mine ;) )So it's kind of the same conclusion than last week... the setup is insane, but there is a lot of work on the filming side to get the perfect footage each time...To those who wants to know, the big vibration around 22 / 23 seconds, is due to the Insta go 2 who went low battery... and stopped recording the gyro data... for all the other sharp movements that I would love to avoid, this is definitely me having too hard stick inputs... and that is a very hard part to deal with..., safety still being my first concern, and the timing of these dynamic exits being very fast and precise, it's a bit of a nightmare to manage to get smooth stick inputs always... so I guess thats a big thing to work on, but never forgetting that safety is the first main goal...Anyway, this is just the start of a big adventure, many improvements will come along the way. !!! COLA FPV & VINCENT COTTE, WINGSUIT, RED KOMODO 6K COLA 2022-03-11 | Hi everybody !! thanks a lot for watching !music : Jetta - I'd Love to Change the World (Matstubs Remix)Ok ! finally we've reached this point ! first of all I wanna thank Maxime Lecchi, Luke Bannister and Vincent Cotte who helped big time in this quest !! It wouldn't have been possible without them !Almost exactly a year ago, when I reached a satisfying point with my GoPro drones to chase wingsuit, I started a new quest... the goal was to do the same with a RED KOMODO... It looked a bit complicated first, we were not sure we would reach enough speed... to be comfortable filming this beautiful extreme sport, I knew I needed a cruising speed of 220km/h... took some time to go through the frame design, the choice of components, gathering enough money... but finally it flew ! and the results were a bit better than on paper, that was a very good news...The beast got pretty crazy stats... can cruise 4km around 190 km/h, got a 220km/h max speed on flat land, so now we'll see how far it can be pushed...I'm very happy with the first results :)Obviously, haters would be welcome to hate, there is so much things to learn and improve on the KOMODO side of things, editing and color grading isn't my job at all, this is all approximate, the learning curve should be steep and I'm pretty confident that all of this should improve over time...So this video isn't at all about "look how well I use a KOMODO" ... Nope !!it's just about the technical side of things, I didn't know if it would be possible to reach this goal, and it is !!! that's what I'm happy about ;) Wingsuit chasing is definitely the most challenging in my opinion, due to long range, extremely short and precise timings, safety etc ... B.A.S.E. 2.0 WINGSUIT & FPV AT ITS FINEST : COLA FPV COLA 2021-11-07 | Hi everybody and thanks a lot for watching !! So happy to present to you this little teaser :) !! It's just a glimpse of what's on my hard drives but I kind of have to keep it all for bigger film projects... sorry about that, I know it's super too short.... !!!it's fun to see the evolution between this and the first movie we made with Vincent Cotte Veush 1 year ago... I mean the guy is still a killer at flying his suit, but the improvements on my side has been quite insane !!! being able to now cruise around 230km/h during 90 seconds or more makes everything possible !! we finally recently reached the point I was looking for... : they can now fly the way they want, without thinking about me keeping up, I'll always be on their asses getting the shot !!Due to the amount of jumps I had the chance to film since I started (aprox 150ish) I kind of know how they fly and use their bodies and can react in no time, giving me more chances to get the sweet shot. !!I'll never thank enough ZIP who taught me a lot about BASE, and made me meet Vincent Cotte Veush with whom I worked & trained so freaking much !! Then when earlier this year he thought I was ready to film more than 1 or 2 flyers, I was so happy to meet the whole band of friends, and had the chance to live so many priceless moments with all these wonderful humans... !! Thanks a lot to them all who trusted me, and consider me & my drone like being part of the wingsuit world !! :) I'm very happy with the balance I find between safety & filming, there has been no panic this year ever, only full control playing with the limits but never overtaking them !! and that definitely is the most important matter to me.we ( I ) still have more stuff to improve, a lot is going very well, on the last jumps we shared with Veush, we did push the tech limits quite a lot and everything is working flawlessly. Next goal is to do the same with a cinema camera... should be possible soon, everything is on the building bench, I just need some spare time to take care of that.Anyway, I think you understood, this 2nd year filming wingsuiters has been such a blast, and I can't wait for the 3rd to start !Also I'm very sorry for all the wingsuiters I filmed this year that are NOT in this edit.... XNOVA 2806.5 REVIEW : COLA FPV COLA 2021-06-03 | Hello boys & gals !! No crazy flying in this video, sorry !! only a review of the great Xnova 2806.5 - 1300 Kv ! these motors are pretty sick !! I was expecting something a lot more boring ! and actually not at all, these motors are definitely full of power it's crazy !! you feel very safe with it, being able to get big power at anytime ! and of course, like with any other motor from this size... you can cruise at around 100km/h speed without limits.... BUT they just are so SMOOTH when you do that....After trying the same sized brotherhobby motors, I went to the conclusion that I hated this sized motor, it didn't suit my flying at all... But here I have to say that it changes my perception and I think Xnova has done a great job on these 2208.5 !!! they will definitely go on a cinelifter now that i know that it's not gonna be boring !!!here they have been tested on a 7 inch setup, with APC 7X6 props.Thanks a lot for watching, take care & happy flying !!

Music : Fleshgod Apocalypse - NONo Kwads were harmed during the making of this video !! ok so the little concept of this video is to try to push the limits of my brain & Kwads doing some "freestyle" or at list tight gaps nd tricks in places where you cannot go get your Quad if you crash.... that's so interesting to see how you feel in this situation, you wanna do crazy stuff but you know you only get one shot at it... plus doing gaps 1/2 km away is always stressful about the signal... you know how video will go greyer and come back but you never now if its gonna be the RTH moment haha :) (RTH that would probably not work being that fast & close to ground/rocks)So I think I found amazing spots with a lot of potential here, so I'll clearly go back there to do the V2 :) it's fun to see that you leave the spot being sad cuz you know you could have done better, and feeling happy cuz nothing got lost...I'm excited to push this balance further, and hope you'll enjoy this footage that is I think good enough to be uploaded. :)Cheers to you all, take care & happy flying !! COLA 2020-03-23 | Hi everybody !!! finally a new video... i had the time to fly twice before lockdown.... thats not enough at all ! did spend my whole winter working so hard, was waiting for the FPV season ... and it looks like we'll have to wait a bit more.... Anyway i tested my new LR motors !! XNOVA 2208 1500 KV !! and it's sooooooooo good !! Feels so much better than the BH 2507 1500, way more precise, agressive and clean !! much easier to "freestyle" when you are far away :)This edit is made with the only footage i had, wich is quite a catastrophy actually, ND filters mistakes... Just a quick video this week :) on this pretty fun spot, getting in that crack in the moutain is irresitible... !!! there would be some more dangerous moves to try in there, i might wanna go back one day and send it ! this is the spot where J-true showed again that he is one of the very best pilots ! the light was really hard to work on, super bright and shinny at the top, and dark where i was actualy flying... i tried my best to get an ok colorgrade... hope you like it !i'm gonna try to catch some freestyle sessions before the winter comes in hard... I'm glad to finally present you my LR project ! :) !It has been quite some work, a lot of days spent in the moutains :) ! waiting for the good weather conditions was probably the biggest problem ;)LR really is one of my favourite discipline, it's very different to freestyle, but brings amazing sensations ! + it's actually nicer to spend a day in nature than in a bando sometimes haha ! :)i wish there could be a law that says that we can fly anywhere if we never go higher than 5 meters from the ground.... i guess we can do RC cars anywhere right ? this is not very different !! so, for this project, my goal was to fly as close as possible from the ground, and as fast as possible..... unfortunatly i discovered that 35 degres uptilt is not enough to really go fast... it is why i will be tryin 40 degres very soon ! i think it will suit me better :) I defenetly had a problem with this video, i made it as i wanted it, as a personnal project, to see that it was actually way too long !! i guess nobody will watch it till the end, (so they'll miss the best dives) haha ! + probably nobody will read this ! but if you do, i hope you enjoy this video, i hope you spent a good 5 minutes flying with me in these beautiful places.... !! Bando In Quebec City: COLA FPV COLA 2019-09-06 | Hi everybody !! nice to see you again !! i didnt post in quite a long time because of some holidays in Quebec !! I was invited there by Planet FPV, wich is a great FPV park in Mont Tremblant near Montreal ! Michel, the Owner is such a great guy, so motivated, and full of ideas for the futur of his brand ! we'll have to follow him from close !! I will come later with some videos about his park ! stay tuned if you want to know more ! you should ;) Anyway, I was over there for a freestyle contest !! first time i fly freestyle with so many people around me watchiing my channel, i have to say it was a very new and uneasy experience... ;) i found it very hard to fly at my normal level and only reached second place in the contest :( but it was a very great & fun experience !Congrats to Skyze FPV youtube.com/channel/UCE6Ho2EBzJo_4M4lp99jHEgfor winning the contest !! Well done budy ! your dive throught the trees was insane :)then i went travelling around quebec, i'll make more videos about what i filmed on my road trip (mostly lakes and forests....) There is the Bando, probably the only one in the beautiful Quebec city !! i had 13 packs, 2 hours, and i found it pretty tight... this is why there are no long shots in this video.... when you fly a tight spot, trying to go hard, not knowing it, you crash a lot :) !!! + the dive throught the 5 floors was actualy pretty difficult !! but im happy i made it :) !I hope you enjoy this little video i think the wallrides are pretty cool :) thanks for watching guys, take care and happy flying !! !

COLA 2019-08-02 | music: Billie Eilish - IlomiloHi everybody !! long time no see !! way too long :) !!! this is the only bad part about professionnally working with FPV.... it's that you have less fun flight time... i hope i can show you my work soon guys !!i had the chance to fly with helicopters !!! and very close to humans... it was quite a lot of fun !! anyway ! back to our sheep (as we say in french hahaha) what do you think bout this video ???? pretty nice ? i'm really starting to like mid/long range... as i now trust my gear.... i just changed my 6 inch frame !!! from the cameleon 6 inch to the amazing POWERLOOP RACING 6 inch prototype !!! wich is 99 grammes :) + a few mods on the setup wich leaves me with a 450g full setup !!! pretty amazing....so i'm reaching 6.30 minutes flight time if i take it easy :) this is i think starting to be a good setup !! I had very big and deep feelings flying that high, seeing beautiful views like this... for the little story, the highest summit you see in the video is a summit i skied down from a few winters ago.... the steepest things i have done skiing. there's a video bout it, ask me if you interested.... i'am now leaving for canada in a few days, invited by PLANET FPV for there big FPV party !! then i'll road trip a bit over there, as holidays with my darling ;) so i'll see how much FPV i can fit in, but i guess some !! DALPROP T5043 PRO REVIEW COLA FPV COLA 2019-07-10 | Hi there ! So ! Dalprop sent me some T5043C PRO to test them !! I'm gonna try to tell you what i think bout them...:feels like they make you faster (wich is weird cuz not a crazy pitch but im just telling you what i think hahaha)definitly handle propwash pretty (very) well, better than the T5046C.so it looks like it's a better prop. A VERY FUN (& SHORT) TRIP TO CROATIA + ORQA FPV ONE. COLA FPV COLA 2019-06-25 | music: Apashe - Dies Irae ( Instrumental Mix )Hi FPV Community !! first of all let me explain a few things ! the second and seventh clips are not my footage !! it is actually Pablo Sotes following my quad ! the 3rd is me following him ;) i just wanted that to be clear :) about the catastrophic shaky footage of the corridor in zagreb (6th clip) it is horribly shaky for 2 reasons: first that was the last pack of the 5 days trip, so the quad was starting to be pretty beaten.... and the other reason is that Pablo had his Xfire pluged next to me using 2 Watts....so i actually had 2 failsafes at the beggining of the corridor.... i didnt loose all control it was like little quick failsafes, one made me go up and the other one down... i managed to keep control but at this speed it took me some time to find to good staight line again... ;) this line is 700m long and it took me 23 seconds to do it wich is 30m/s or 110 km/h :) ! i was around 75% throttle. i think this can be done faster but didnt have anymore packs or time to try it !In all case, i swear i'll be back to Zagreb to properly RIP this bando... cuz this is such and amazing FPV spot, but way to big to discover it 4 hours ( the time we had there) Anyway, i hope you enjoyed this little video, take care & happy flying to you all !! cheers !!
