The newest version of the design doesn't require any hammering, but if you don't glue the magnets, they can stick to the hinge instead of your bit. Easiest way to do this is put a long hex key though the front hole, attach the magnets to the key, then apply a small bit of super-glue to the magnets, and pull them into the hole using the hex key.
