This recipe (carolinescooking.com/fabada-asturiana-pork-bean-stew) gives a good overview of how to make an Asturian fabada. The stew I made is a variation on this. However, I used the large judiones (use whatever big white means you can find).Also, to "scary" the beans, you should pour a little cold water in three times over the 2-3 hours cooking time.
