We decided to hire a canal boat for our first family trip, thinking it would be a relaxing and fun few days. It turned out to be much harder than we'd bargained for! We found the perfect cabin nestled in the mountains of southern Switzerland to spend a couple of nights. From the outside it looks like a standard traditional farmers cabin but with a surprising design inside, where it has been transformed to a 6 bedroom getaway with some of the best mountain views around! Iglu-Dorf Zermatt is a hotel located just north of Zermatt, Switzerland. This place is bonkers! The hotel is rebuilt every winter, once the fresh snow has landed and so is uniquely different each year. After the construction of the snow hotel, international artists are brought in to design each room, as well as the communal areas, with unique snow sculptures and art.
