Previously, the party briefly revisited Trabia Garden after the story sequence there. Most importantly, they challenged Selphie's Friend to Triple Triad and won the Selphie card, which they promptly modded to get 3 Elem Guards. They used one to teach Siren the Elem-Defx4 ability. The party also visited the Library in Balamb Garden for the Zell Love Quest. The Library Committee members and the Library Girl with a Pigtail were discussing the results of the questionnaire that they had subjected Zell to earlier. The party returned to Shumi Village to draw more Ultima spells for Squall and boost his already obscenely high strength. Finally, they played Triple Triad against Xu some more and converted some Ruby Dragon cards and Tiamat cards into Flare spells for another party member. Now, the party will face a major encounter in the woods near Edea's House on the southwestern tip of the Centra continent.

Previously, Erik carried out Quest 130: "Demon Pro's Training!" for Instructor Ranbaba in Glen Castle. This took him to the eastern portion of Becon Valley, where Erik hunted the dangerous Togres. Erik finished gathering treasures in Becon Valley while he was there. Completing Quest 130 unlocked Skill Point Training. Instead of earning EXP in Skill Point Training mode, one earns special training stamps that go towards additional skill points. Erik also carried out Quest 026: "Fluff of Happiness", the postal stationery quest for Stationery Shop Yamame in Megistris City. In the process, he explored the Epistesa Hills southwest of Megistris. Erik concluded by stocking up on Level 28 Martial Artist gear. Now, he will explore Kamiharmui City, the capital of Eltona.

Previously, Erik wrapped up the Mage vocation quest line, "To Encounter a Mage", with Lunan via the Mirror of Sheba in the South Port Lendor Inn. He carried out the last two quests: Quest 065: "The Mage is Missing" and Quest 066: "Lunan's Identity". In the process, he learned the MGE's Special Move, 0 Zone, and acquired the Mager Achievement vocation proof accessory. He also now has 100 skill points in all MGE vocation skill lines. Afterwards, he carried out a daily quest to defeat Grinades in Upper Jule Island. He used the reward EXP to boost his MRT/Martial Artist vocation to Level 19. Now, Erik will explore Luckland, the island of entertainment, and then carry out the first equipment bag expansion quest for Sasalana.

Previously, the party revisited the town of Balamb after chasing off Raijin and Fujin. After an event with the Big Bad Rascal at the Harbor, they found a Spd Up in Zell's bedroom. They also played a game against the Queen of Hearts, gave her the Chicobo card, and made sure she went to Dollet. Back in Balamb Garden, they chatted with Rinoa in the Library and with Zell in the party for a Zell Love Quest event. The party checked up with the Queen of Hearts in Dollet and then obtained the Chubby Chocobo card from a Balamb Garden student. They returned to Shumi Village briefly to draw some more Ultima spells. Then, they saved at the Talle Mountains on the southern island at the Esthar Region's border with the Centra Region. Now, the party will hunt Cactuars in Kashkabald Desert to gain dramatic amounts of AP for their GFs.

Previously, Erik continued the Version 1 storyline "Hollow's Encounter Story". He met Erju at the Past Landon Mountains Summit. With Erju's Sacred Ship, he infiltrated Reidametes Temple inside the false sun. After exploring the dungeon and extinguishing three guarded flames, Erik went to the Grand Altar and defeated Guardian Razburn of the temple. Erju's era appears to be safe now, but I just know who was revived by the souls Reidametes was collecting. Erju took Erik back to Glen Castle Town for some events to close out the activities in Erju's era. After meeting Erju in his room, Erik took the Ark of the Earth back to the present day. He again met Sage Hollow on the train. Erik's next objective for "Hollow's Encounter Story" will be to visit Fluka's House in Glen Castle Town to see if she inherited the Ship Shaper's art. For now, though, Erik will start the Mage vocation quest line, "To Encounter a Mage", at the Inn in South Port Lendor, since he has surpassed MGE Level 30.

Previously, the party visited the Chocobo Forests throughout the world. They solved puzzles with the Chocobo Whistle and caught each forest's Chocobo. Eventually, they reached the Chocobo Sanctuary and obtained the Chicobo card. They also played more Triple Triad and accumulated enough Tiamat cards to make a full stack of 100 Flare spells for one character. The party will now return to the town of Balamb to continue the story, but I can already see a cause for concern from the world map.

Previously, Erik continued the Version 1 storyline "Hollow's Encounter Story". He continued his adventure in the Glen area 500 years in the past. He traveled southeast to the Grotto Strait in Past Gert Strait and met the Pukulipo sorcerer, Fostail. He continued to Past Landonfoot and helped Erju by collecting an Icebird Feather from an Apeckalypse. He returned to the Grotto Strait, where Fostail taught Erju his portion of the Ship Shaper's art. Erik and Erju then traveled to the Wild Settlement in Past Landonfoot. They met the Ogre sorcerer, Gamilgo, who revealed an inconvenient truth. He would only teach Erju his portion of the Ship Shaper's art if Glen were restored to the Ogres. Erik and Erju returned to Master Theodore in Past Glen Castle, but Theodore had a high demand for doing as Erju wished. Erju has decided to use his limited knowledge to send Erik into Reidametes to defeat the guardian of the great ball of fire. Erik must now meet Erju at the Past Landon Mountains Summit.

Previously, Erik continued the Version 1 storyline "Hollow's Encounter Story". He took the Ark of the Earth train to Glen Castle of 500 years ago. The false sun, Reidametes, was burning up everything in sight, and Glen seemed to be under the control of humans rather than Ogres. At Past Glen Castle, Erik met Master Theodore, the humans' leader. He also met Erju, the 10-year-old son of the late Bernhardt, the previous Ship Shaper. Erju intends to inherit his father's art, but he is a very demanding youngster. Erju's servant, Kai, asked Erik to look after the bra-... er, youngster. Erik followed Erju northeast across the East Desert to the Elven Settlement. After Erju caused a scene with Yakuru, the Elf sorcerer, Erik collected some water at Glen Castle and brought it to the Elven Settlement instead. Of course, Erju has yet to learn humility. Now, Erik must follow him southeast to the Pukulipo sorcerer in Gert Strait.

Previously, Erik continued the Version 1 storyline "Hollow's Encounter Story" after having collected 6 Key Emblems. He met Sage Hollow on the train again. In the Landon Mountain Summit Area, Hollow tried to conjure a bridge to Hades' Heart, but the forces of evil were too strong. They went to Glen to seek a certain Ship Shaper, but a new problem resulted. Fluka, the Ship Shaper's current descendant, doesn't know how to conjure the Sacred Ship. Erik will need to travel back in time to ensure this knowledge is passed down, and he must be human. So, Hollow sent Erik's soul to Ethene Village, where Abba's soul and the Galapagod were watching over his body. Erik became human again. At the Room of Revival, Erik of Ethene met the soul of Erik the Ogre. Erik returned to Glen in human form where Hollow told him to ride the Ark of the Earth train five hundred years into the past, when some calamity prevented the Ship Shaper's knowledge from being passed on. After these events, Erik carried out Quest 013: "Oh My Dream!" for Hipipena in Megistris and repaired her model of the city in the castle. Now, Erik will ride the Ark of the Earth to the past to learn more about the calamity 500 years ago and the Ship Shaper of that era.

Previously, Erik concluded the Version 1 storyline "Megistris Story". He returned to Glitter Windmill Tower with Prince Raguas and defeated Tactician Id. They were too late to save King Puupoppan's life, but they were able to prevent the ritual from destroying Pukuland. Erik earned the Purple Key Emblem from the Megistris's little prince. Afterwards, he carried out Quest 037: "Keymaker's Box" for Nejiro in the Megistris Treasury and earned the Thief's Key, which he can use to unlock black chests. He concluded by carrying out a gate quest to level up as a Mage/MGE. Now that Erik has six Key Emblems, he will meet with Sage Hollow on the train again and see what he must do next to confront the Netherlord Nergel.

Previously, Erik continued the Version 1 storyline "Megistris Story". He joined King Puupoppan and Id's strike force at the Glitter Windmill Tower northeast of the city to hunt down some ferocious monsters. When Erik reached the Ritual Hall atop the Windmill, however, something terrible happened. Erik defeated Thanatos and Hypnos, but the king's ritual will now be corrupted. Unfortunately, when Erik returned to the castle to report, King Puupoppan did not believe him. Upon leaving the castle, Erik met Fostail, who asked for his help. Erik met Fostail at the Queen Alwe's Villa Ruins in the Wrinkle Region, where they found an oddly glowing door. Some revelations about Queen Alwe and her son, Prince Raguas, took place when they went through the door. Erik and Fostail returned to Megistris Castle to ask Raguas for Alwe's notebook. When they entered the Prince's Room, though, there was another event, and Prince Raguas was revealed. Erik must now return to the Glitter Windmill Tower to find King Puupoppan and Id. After he finishes "Megistris Story", he will carry out Quest 037 to obtain the Thief's Key.

Previously, Erik explored Megistris City and began the Version 1 storyline "Megistris Story". After seeing a minstrel named Fostail enter Megistris Castle, Erik gained entry thanks to his Mark of Maturity. He went to the Throne Room for a tense scene involving King Puupoppan, his aide Id, and Fostail. King Puupoppan assigned Erik to help a group investigate reports of a ferocious monster in the Glitter Windmill Tower. Erik will now explore Glitter Windmill Tower in Windmill Way and help take out this ferocious monster.

Previously, Squall was appointed commander of Balamb Garden and gained the ability to direct the Garden's movements through Nida, the new pilot. The next story objective is to return to the town of Balamb. There is a bit of optional stuff to do before that, though. Squall began carrying out the CC Group Quest. He has defeated the first few CC Group members: Jack, Joker, Club, Diamond, and Spade. Now, he will look for the last two members of the CC Group: Heart and King. The party will also do another event for the Zell Love Quest. Then, they will continue playing Triple Triad to collect Level 7 cards.

Previously, Erik wrapped up the Minstrel vocation quest line, "Road to Legend Minstrel". He carried out the final task, Quest 081: "Comedy's Height", for Polfan in the Orphea Region West. He traveled to Megilaza Cave in the Megistris Region and defeated the evil Relulu and the trio of Gremlins. On the way, he also visited Megistris City and set a Zoomstone to that place. Erik earned the Best Actor Vocation Proof accessory upon completing the quest. Then, he went to North Port Lendor and carried out Quest 121: "Magic Key Companions" for Ronde. Ronde sent him through a Magic Maze, a randomly generated dungeon, to defeat the boss monster. Upon completing this quest, Erik earned the Magic Key key item, which he can use in towns or castles to enter a Magic Maze. Now, Erik will explore Megistris City and Megistris Castle and begin the Version 1 storyline "Megistris Story".

Previously, Squall and Irvine returned to Balamb Garden from Fishermans Horizon and checked on Selphie in the Quad. After Squall reported to Headmaster Cid, Cid appointed him to lead the hunt for and the fight against the Sorceress. Irvine then helped Selphie and the others select music for the Garden Festival. He also took a break to continue the Zell Love Quest. That night, Rinoa escorted/dragged Squall to the Garden Festival. Now, Squall will head to the bridge in the Headmaster's Office to begin the next stage of the game. Then, he will start the CC Group Quest in Balamb Garden.

Previously, Erik began the Minstrel vocation quest line, "Road to Legend Minstrel", with Polfan in the Orphea Region West. He carried out the first four quests: Quest 077: "Novice Minstrel", Quest 078: "Missing Minstrel", Quest 079: "Training Completed", and Quest 080: "Forgotten Craft". In the process, he collected the Minstrel cosmetic gear and learned the MIN's Special Move, Rough 'n' Tumble. He now has at least 80 skill points in all MIN skill lines and gained some levels as MIN. He also defeated Demon Clown Gazer, a bitter Minstrel that had been stalking and killing other Minstrels, but it seems there is an even more powerful fiend out there. Erik will now wrap up "Road to Legend Minstrel" by taking out the Minstrel-hunter. Then, he will carry out Quest 121 in Rendoa to unlock the Magic Maze.

Previously, Squall's party continued their stay in Fishermans Horizon. They met Mayor Dobe and his wife, Flo. The mayor agreed to help repair Balamb Garden. However, the Galbadians showed up afterwards. The party rescued Mayor Dobe near the train station and defeated the BGH251F2 for good. They reunited with Selphie's party after the battle! Afterwards, Squall and Irvine met the Master Fisherman and did the second part of his quest. In the process, they learned more about Mayor Dobe and Fishermans Horizon. Their reward for this was a Megalixir. Now, Squall and Irvine will return to Balamb Garden to check in on Selphie.

Previously, the party spoke with Headmaster Cid after defeating Garden Master NORG. Then, they came across a ship of Sorceress Edea's SeeDs. Squall tracked down Ellone so she could leave with them. Afterwards, Balamb Garden "arrived" at Fishermans Horizon. Cid assigned Squall to explore the town and apologize to the mayor. After leaving the Garden, Squall's party met the Master Fisherman. While exploring Fishermans Horizon, they did the first part of the Master Fisherman's quest by checking on his pupil, the Fisherkid. Now, the party will go visit the mayor in the middle of town.

Previously, Erik continued the Version 1 storyline "Julet Story". Having escorted Kinner to the Sleeping Wisdom Ruins, he reported to Mayor Vollen in Julet to get his reward. However, it was discovered afterwards that Somya was secretly sheltering a cat monster's baby. A wandering swordsman named Hyuza arrived in town during this to-do. After agreeing to take the Kitten home, Erik explored Cat Island. When he reached the Cat's Cradle on Cat Island and met Cat Momma, a devious scheme by one of Cat Momma's ambitious underlings, Purrgatroyd, was unveiled. Erik defeated Purrgatroyd, and the Kitten was returned to Cat Momma. When Erik returned to Mayor Vollen, he earned the Blue Key Emblem, his fifth Key Emblem. Now, he will visit Tote in Julet and carry out the first two bag expansion quests in the quest line "Rumored Item Bag Workshop". He will also do a couple of standard quests in Julet.

Then, Squall was summoned to the basement to meet the Garden Master, NORG. What a nasty character. The party defeated NORG and acquired the GF Leviathan. Now, they must locate Cid and meet with him.

Previously, when Erik took the train to Julet, he had a terrifying dream followed by another meeting with Sage Hollow for the Version 1 storyline "Hollow's Encounter Story". After exploring the town of Julet, he met little Somya and began the Version 1 storyline "Julet Story". When Erik met Julet's Mayor Vollen, the mayor asked him to escort Detective Kinner on an investigation of the Sleeping Wisdom Ruins on Ladis Island. Before taking the canoe to Ladis Island, Erik caught Somya on Muse Coast. She was doing something admirable, but it might get her in trouble. Erik explored the Sleeping Wisdom Ruins on Ladis Island and helped Kinner repair the Rippling Resonators. Now, he must return to Mayor Vollen in Julet to report his success and continue "Julet Story".

Previously, Squall and company returned to Balamb Garden to find the school in chaos. Goons of a certain Garden Master were hunting for Cid, and this had provoked a sort of civil war. The party ran around the first floor and eliminated some of the monsters that the Garden Faculty had set loose. Afterwards, they met Xu on floor 2F. She took them to meet Cid so they could tell him about Galbadia's missile attack. After some convincing, Cid assigned the party to find some old controls hidden on the MD Level of the Garden. The party explored the poorly maintained MD Level and defeated the Oilboyles near the end. They will now continue to the end and see what these mysterious controls do.

Previously, Erik finished up the Priest vocation quest line, "Priest's Choice", with the Kirika Order in Azlan. He carried out the last two quests: Quest 060: "Saint's Balance" and Quest 061: "Priest's Battle". In the process, he learned the PRI Special Move Saint's Song and obtained the Livesaving Medal Vocation Proof accessory. All his PRI skill lines are maxed out at 100 skill points apiece. Then, Erik carried out a daily quest and used the reward EXP to begin leveling up his MIN/Minstrel vocation. Now, Erik will head to Julet to begin the Version 1 storyline "Julet Story".

Previously, Selphie's party infiltrated the Galbadia Missile Base. They caused general mayhem and sabotaged the missile launch against Balamb Garden. When they were found out, they fought the base commander and armed the base's self-destruct. However, they had to fight the BGH251F2 when they were trying to escape. We'll have to wait to see what became of Selphie's team. We then rejoined Squall's team as they returned to Balamb Garden. Since time is of the essence, Squall and company reexplored the town of Balamb. They visited the Queen of Cards and set Balamb's Trade Rule to All. Now, the party will see what is going on in Balamb Garden while they try to report the incoming missiles to Cid.

Previously, the party defeated an Elite Soldier and two GIM52As and escaped Galbadia D-District Prison. Then, they split up. Squall's group started heading home to warn Balamb Garden about incoming missiles, while Selphie's group set out for the Galbadia Missile Base to stop the missiles at the source. On the way, Selphie's group stopped by Deling City. They deliberately lost the Ifrit card to General Caraway and won the Rinoa card. Now, Selphie's group will infiltrate the Galbadia Missile Base southwest of the city.

Previously, Erik wrapped up the Version 1 storyline "Orphea Story" in the town of Orphea. He explored the Muruel Forest west of Orphea. In the forest's Fostail Square, he helped Captain Nablette defeat the vile Duke Sigras. Afterwards, Nablette freed Orphea's children from the mysterious door on Silver Hill and related the plans that his sister Alwe had made years ago. When Erik returned to the Circus Tent in Orphea, Nablette rewarded him with the White Key Emblem for saving the town. Erik concluded his business in Orphea with Quest 010: "The Magic Oven" for Pipzer and Quest 023: "Fragrant & Great Fruits" for Stationery Shop Utsusemi. Previously, the party's stay in the Galbadia D-District Prison continued. Zell recovered his allies' weapons from some inept Guards on Floor 8. When he returned to Quistis and Selphie, the party fought Biggs and Wedge. In the process, they mugged some items and drew some spells from them. Afterwards, Zell's group explored the prison in their effort to escape. In the meantime, they found some items, and they played some captive card players to acquire some useful items. The party will now continue their escape from the Galbadia D-District Prison.

Previously, Erik began the Version 1 storyline "Orphea Story" in the town of Orphea. He went to the Grand Nab-Nab Circus and saw Captain Nablette make all the town's children disappear! When Erik went to confront Nablette backstage, the showman also nabbed Pudin, a Pukulipo kid that had joined the Nab-Nab troupe. Erik traveled south through the Orphea Region West to the Wrinkle Region and continued to Silver Hill. There, Nablette locked Orphea's children behind a magical door. But when Erik returned to the Circus Tent in Orphea, Nablette's reasons became clear as Duke Sigras the demon arrived to consume the town's tots. Nablette taunted the fiend and led him off. Erik must now follow them west to Muruel Forest and confront Duke Sigras at Fostail Square.

Previously, as Disc 2 of the game started, we rejoined Laguna and Kiros at Winhill, where Laguna had been recuperating since the events at Centra. Laguna has become close to his caretaker, Raine, and a little girl named Ellone. Laguna and Kiros patrolled Winhill and took out some monsters. Then, they returned to Raine and got some rest to conclude the sequence. Afterwards, we rejoined our SeeDs, thrown in Galbadia D-District Prison. Unfortunately, Squall is being tortured. However, Zell has escaped his cell to recover the others' weapons. He will now try to do so.

Previously, Erik carried out a few quests. At a Depository, he carried out Quest 216: "Dream Warehouse Addon Plan" to add an additional warehouse for Item Storage. Starting at Lion Gate, he carried out Quest 120: "Those Who Aim Higher" for Holy Messenger Hougai and raised his level limit to 60. In Wind Town Azlan, he carried out Quest 006: "Thoughts Into Flowers" for the lovelorn Maetake and Quest 019: "Cherry Scented Products" for Stationery Shop Taruhi. Previously, Squall and Irvine saved Rinoa from Edea's pet Iguions at the Presidential Residence in Deling City. Afterwards, Quistis's group made their way through the Sewer. They reached the Gateway just in time to trap Edea's float. Afterwards, Squall led the assault against the Sorceress and fought mano-a-mano against Seifer. Not much of a challenge. Then, Squall, Irvine, and Rinoa fought Sorceress Edea. Despite a successful outcome, Squall appeared to be seriously wounded. Thus ended Disc 1 of the story. We will now start Disc 2 and see what has become of our party, though not without another side excursion.

Previously, Erik finished the Version 1 storyline "Azlan Story". He traveled south from Azlan to the Mountain Pass in Inamino Highway and met Fuura, who obtained the Wind Reins from Enkara. Afterwards, Erik met Fuura at Sui Tower in the Suizen Marsh to the east. Erik climbed to the Windy Room at the top of Sui Tower and defeated Pusgon. Fuura obtained the Wind Robe afterwards. Back at Azlan, Fuura did the Wind Send-Off Ceremony. Lord Taketora rewarded Erik with the Green Key Emblem. This concluded "Azlan Story". Afterwards, Erik met Sage Hollow on the train and learned that he must gather a total of six Key Emblems to face the Netherlord. Now, Erik will work on a few quests, notably the warehouse expansion quest, which will give him more item storage at the Depository, and the second level limit quest, which will raise his level limit from 55 to 60. He will also do a couple of trivial quests in Azlan.

Previously, the party purposely lost the Sacred card to the Queen of Cards in Dollet to continue her quest and manipulated the game's RNG so she would return to Balamb. Then, they returned to Deling City. They took advantage of an NPC in front of Galbadia Hotel to manipulate Fishermans Horizon's Triple Triad rules, adding Open and removing Elemental. They next went to Caraway's Mansion and met the general. After learning a bit about Rinoa herself, Caraway took Squall's squad to the Presidential Residence and then the Gateway to go over his foolproof plan to wipe out the Sorceress. The party returned to Caraway's Mansion afterwards to start the operation. During this, Quistis scolded Rinoa for the latter's idea to deal with the Sorceress. Unfortunately, Quistis and her squad left the Gateway to apologize to Rinoa and got trapped in Caraway's Mansion. Worse, Rinoa slipped out. Her idea landed her in trouble with the Sorceress. Some alarming things happened during the ceremony. Quistis's team found a secret exit from Caraway's Mansion and entered the Sewer. As the parade started, Squall and Irvine entered the Presidential Residence as planned. But we also saw that someone presumed dead is very much alive. Now, the pair will try to rescue Rinoa as they prepare to get into position.

Previously, Erik began the Version 1 storyline "Azlan Story" in the Wind Town Azlan. After exploring the town, he met Lord Taketora and Fuura at the Lord's Mansion. Erik agreed to Taketora's request to talk to Fuura, who did not want to follow in her mother's footsteps and become the next Wind Rider. He traveled north through the Azlan Region to the Windy Cape for a scene with Fuura and the Azlantelopes. Fuura seems to have changed her mind. Erik revisited Taketora in Azlan, and the lord asked Erik to help Fuura acquire the Wind Rider gear. If Fuura gets through this successfully, Taketora will reward Erik with a Key Emblem. Erik's next destination is the Mountain Pass in Inamino Highway south of Azlan.

Previously, the party explored Deling City. When they tried to visit Caraway's Mansion, Caraway's Guard assigned them to prove their mettle by visiting the Tomb of the Unknown King and returning with the ID number of a fallen student. The party found this ID number in the Tomb of the Unknown King, but they also defeated Sacred and Minotaur and obtained the GF Brothers. They also obtained the Sacred and Minotaur cards. Card Modding the Minotaur card yielded Adamantines. The party used the ingredients they had scrounged up so far to upgrade Squall's Revolver to the Lion Heart and Selphie's Flail to the Strange Vision, their respective ultimate weapons. Then, the party drove all the way to Dollet in the northeast of the western continent. Now, they will lose the Sacred card to her and manipulate things so she heads back to Balamb. They will also do some card rule manipulation with a Fishermans Horizon resident in Deling City. Then, they will head to Caraway's Mansion to get started with their mission.

Previously, Erik participated in the Kyurarana Grand Prix at Kyurarana Beach during the Summer Festival 2024 event. With a little support from a couple of my other characters, he bought a house in the Meadow Area of the Glen Residences. After buying some things at Kyurarana Beach, Erik then participated in the Phantom Sea Trashka event in Julet. Now, after he sets up something at his house, Erik will go to the Wind Town Azlan and begin working on the Version 1 storyline "Azlan Story".
