Friday Night Funkin' is an upcoming rhythm video game developed by The Funkin' Crew Inc. and released on Newgrounds in 2020.[6] The game is developed by a small group consisting primarily of Cameron "ninjamuffin99" Taylor, David "PhantomArcade" Brown, Isaac "Kawai Sprite" Garcia, and evilsk8r. The game is also open-source.[a] It shares some gameplay features with Dance Dance Revolution, PaRappa the Rapper, and the "Dance Contest" minigame from Club Penguin, and borrows aesthetic influences from Flash games.[7] The game has been credited with driving users back to Newgrounds, a site that rose in popularity in the early 2000s.[8][9][10]

The game revolves around the player character, Boyfriend, who must defeat a variety of opponents in singing and rapping contests in order to continue dating his love interest, Girlfriend. Gameplay involves hitting notes with timed inputs while avoiding running out of health for the duration of the song.[11][12] There are currently nine levels in the game, alongside selected songs amongst the nine levels featuring more difficult remixes.

The game was initially created for the Ludum Dare 47 game jam on October 5, 2020.[13] An expanded demo was released on November 1, 2020, with updates continually released in the following months. A full version of the game backed by Kickstarter, titled Friday Night Funkin': The Full Ass Game, is in development.[14] On July 15, 2025, the game released on IOS and Android devices.[‡ 1][15]

Slender: The Arrival is a video game developed by Blue Isle Studios, in association with Parsec Productions. It is a fully-realized, commercial version of Slender: The Eight Pages. The game's main storyline was written by the cast of MarbleHornets.

The game was first publicized through an open beta released on February 10th, 2013, simply containing the second chapter. The full game released a little over a month later, on March 26th, 2013. An updated edition on Steam containing an extended prologue and a brand new ending was released on October 28th, 2013.

The game was made available to the PlayStation Network and Xbox Live Arcade on September 23rd, 2014 and September 24th, 2014 respectively, with three new chapters set from the perspective of two past victims in the game's lore. One of these levels was shown during E3. These three levels are available for free on the PC and Steam versions of the game. The game was ported onto Nintendo Switch on May 29th, 2019, and was eventually ported to iOS and Android on October 13th, 2021.

After two additional years of radio silence, a ten-year anniversary edition made in Unreal Engine 5.2 was officially announced on July 27th, 2023 and was released on October 18th of the same year, complete with a new extended chapter from the perspective of another victim. A future content update including cross-platform mod support, a DLC pack containing three additional extended chapters, and a multiplayer game mode was announced on the game's official website on October 3rd, 2023.

Snowie :3 2025-05-30 | Prototype 2 for hn 3 came out 3 days ago and I've just beat it today. Honestly huge Glow up from just the Prototype 1, the graphics and whole gameplay feels better than the prototype 1. I have huge hopes for this game and I hope they'll deliver a good completed game this time!
