We watched the Kraken earn their first home game win of the 2022-2023 season at Climate Pledge arena! I was able to get one of the Kraken's power play goals on video, and although it looked like the shot hit the post, it was a good goal. Ferry Ride to Vashon Island (2021) Brett Ficek 2021-05-31 | We started the day off by taking a ferry ride from Fauntleroy to Vashon Island . Our son is practicing wearing a face mask (and he is doing a great job at it!) because we will be flying on an airplane in about a month - my son's very first flight! Things should let up a bit once the country is more in control with the COVID situation. Anywho, once we arrived at Vashon, we ate our lunch at Wingehaven Park (I highly recommend visiting this park). Then we drove across the island until we reached Dockton and Lisabuela parks. Finally, it was time to return home via the Tahlequah-Point Defiance ferry. It was a great outdoorsy day with fantastic views all around. :)
