This rare event occurs when the Moon passes directly in front of the Sun, but appears too small to completely cover the Sun’s surface – resulting in what appears as a ring of fire in the sky. It’s also known as an annular solar eclipse. Everyone in the contiguous 48 states will have the opportunity to see at least a partial eclipse.OSIRIS-REx Live Tracking + Live coverage of Sample touchdownM2M2023-09-24 | NASA's OSIRIS-REx is an ongoing mission that visited and collected a sample from asteroid 101955 Bennu, with the aim of returning the sample to Earth on Sept. 24, 2023.
OSIRIS-Rex launched on Sept. 8, 2016, and arrived at asteroid Bennu on Dec. 3, 2018. It began orbiting the carbon-rich rock on Dec. 31, 2018. A dramatic, yet brief, touchdown on Oct. 20, 2020, saw Bennu pick up a sample from the surface before beginning the long journey home on May 10, 2021.
OSIRIS-REx's sample return capsule is scheduled to bring a sample of Bennu back to Earth on Sept. 24, 2023 at about 1455 (UTC), but that will not be the end of the main spacecraft's mission. It will be retasked to swing by the near-Earth asteroid Apophis in 2029 with a new moniker: OSIRIS-Apophis Explorer, or OSIRIS-APEX.
We will follow OSIRIS-REx on NASAS live tracking, then follow the sample return capsule with live coverage of that on the 24th September before touchdown

Following stage separation, Falcon 9’s first stage landed on Landing Zone 1 (LZ-1) at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station.
Dragon will autonomously dock with the space station on Sunday, August 27, approximately 29 hours after liftoff.
During their time on the orbiting laboratory, the crew will conduct science and technology demonstrations to prepare for human exploration beyond low-Earth orbit and to benefit humanity on Earth, in addition to space station maintenance activities.LIVE - Starship Super Heavy Booster Static FireM2M2023-08-25 | ...Chandrayaan-3 Luna LandingM2M2023-08-24 | Chandrayaan-3 is India’s third mission to the Moon. It repeats most of the failed Chandrayaan-2 mission, with only a lander and rover. After a controlled descent, the lander will perform a soft landing on the lunar surface at a specified site and deploy the rover. The six-wheeled rover weighs around 20 kg and will operate on solar power. It will move around the landing site, performing lunar surface chemical analysis and relaying data back to Earth through the orbiter. The lander will be collecting data on moon quakes, the thermal properties of the lunar surface, and the density and variation of lunar surface plasma. Altogether, the Chandrayaan-3 mission will collect scientific information on lunar topography, mineralogy, elemental abundance, lunar exosphere, and signatures of hydroxyl and water ice.

Tune in to be amongst the first to see new pictures roughly every 50 seconds as they’re beamed down directly from the Visual Monitoring Camera on board ESA’s long-lived and still highly productive martian orbiter.
“This is an old camera, originally planned for engineering purposes, at a distance of almost three million kilometres from Earth – this hasn’t been tried before and to be honest, we’re not 100% certain it’ll work,” explains James Godfrey, Spacecraft Operations Manager at ESA’s mission control centre in Darmstadt, Germany.
“But I’m pretty optimistic. Normally, we see images from Mars and know that they were taken days before. I’m excited to see Mars as it is now – as close to a martian ‘now’ as we can possibly get!’Ax-2 Undocking from International Space StationM2M2023-05-31 | Axiom Mission 2 (Ax-2) is Axiom Space’s second all-private astronaut mission to the International Space Station (ISS), marking another pivotal step toward Axiom Station, the world’s first commercial space station and successor to the ISS.

In this highly anticipated launch, SpaceX aims to test the capabilities of its Starship vehicle in reaching orbit and performing a variety of critical maneuvers. This will be a crucial step towards the company's ultimate goal of creating a fully reusable spacecraft capable of carrying humans and cargo to the Moon, Mars, and beyond.
The launch will take place at SpaceX's Boca Chica launch facility in South Texas, where the company has been conducting a series of test flights with its Starship prototype vehicles. The vehicle for this launch will be the latest iteration of the Starship, equipped with advanced systems and hardware upgrades.
During the flight, the Starship will ascend to an altitude of around 500 kilometers and perform a series of complex maneuvers, including a propulsive landing back at the launch site. This will be a key test of the vehicle's reusability and its ability to withstand the extreme temperatures and pressures of atmospheric reentry.
In addition to the technical aspects of the launch, this flight will also be an important milestone for the commercial space industry and the future of space exploration. SpaceX's Starship is poised to revolutionize space travel by drastically reducing the cost of launching payloads into orbit and beyond, opening up new possibilities for scientific research, space tourism, and the exploration of other planets.
Join us as we provide live coverage of this historic launch and follow the progress of SpaceX's Starship as it takes its next giant leap towards the stars. This spacewalk is the second of a pair this month to install the solar arrays and is scheduled to begin at 8:30 a.m. EST (1330 UTC), when the astronauts switch on their spacesuit battery packs. The spacewalk is expected to last about seven hours. Rubio (wearing the suit with red stripes) and Cassada (wearing the unmarked suit) are part of NASA's SpaceX Crew-5 mission, which arrived at the station on Oct. 6, 2022. This is the third spacewalk for both astronauts.
The spacewalk originally scheduled for Wednesday, Dec. 21, was postponed when the International Space Station conducted a Pre-Determined Debris Avoidance Maneuver at 8:42 a.m. EST. The decision to conduct the maneuver was based on tracking data that showed a close approach to station of a fragment of Russian Fregat-SB upper stage debris. The crew was never in any immediate danger.
