However, this Pokemon had an extremely low catch rate for guests in the raid, so I had to reset over and over and over and over and over again for @EveyHedgehog to finally snag it. It felt like it took hours! But it was worth it and I did not mind. We used the shiny Zeraora we got from the earlier event to take it down. Doing it a little different this time, I'm including both the hatching video and the evolution videos in one. I don't know if I'll keep doing it like this though.My first shiny in Pokemon Shield and in 8th Gen came by pure chance, I hatched it on January 2nd, 2020! I needed some extra Deino to trade and put a Japanese Hydreigon & my own Ditto into the Nursery. Took five eggs, hatched them, and the last one was shiny. I was watching the egg hatch and thought about how funny it would be if it were shiny... and it was, lol! I saw the green instead of blue and couldn't believe it.This is a really awesome shiny and not one that I have yet, plus it has a good nature and all the perfect stats in the right places.Regular Deino is blue, while Shiny Deino is green.Same with Zweilous, shiny is green instead of blue.And regular Hydreigon is blue and red, while shiny is green and purple.This Pokemon actually had an appearance in one of the Pokemon movies!!When I'm filling my PokeDex, this is the Pokemon I dread most. It's a dragon, and it also has the latest evolution levels of any Pokemon.Deino evolves into Zweilous at Level 50, and then Zweilous evolves into the triple-headed Hydreigon at Level 64. Fortunately it's much easier in Sword & Shield if you have a bunch of those Exp. Candies... though if you're going to Level 100, you may want to use Rare Candy on those last few levels since sometimes they take a *lot* of experience points.BY THE WAY, Deino is a Pokemon Sword exclusive. Yeah, I'm using Pokemon Shield, but managed to get a Japanese Deino off of Surprise Trade. I make a lot of gaming videos.Rockruff is an interesting Pokemon. It can evolve into one of three different forms depending on version, time of day, and ability. Considering this, that makes it one of the most complicated Pokemon evolutions to behold.Fortunately, determining which you will get isn't that hard. Just remember that once it evolves you can't switch between them.Rockruff will begin to want to evolve starting at Level 25.Rockruff will evolve into Midday Form Lycanroc if you have Sun or UltraSun, and if it is during the daytime in the game, and as long as it does not have Own Tempo as its Ability.Rockruff will evolve into Midnight form Lycanroc if you have Moon or UltraMoon, and if it is nightime in the game, and if it does not have Own Tempo as its ability.Rockruff will evolve into Dusk form Lycanroc only if you have UltraSun or UltraMoon and it has the Own Tempo ability, and only if the ingame time is between 5 and 6 PM in UltraSun or 5 and 6AM in UltraMoon. The time in the game matches your 3DS clock. Remember that in UltraMoon it is nighttime during the real-world daytime, and daytime during the real-world nighttime if you 3DS clock matches real-world time.Don't forget about the reverse world. If you fly to the Altar with one of the cover legends, you can go through the Ultra Wormhole to the "world" opposite of your game. The time will be the opposite there. For instance, if it is noon in your game, going through the wormhole you will end up in a world of midnight.Unfortunately, traveling there does not grant you access to evolving Rockruff into the form that is exclusive to your game.In the video, my shiny Rockruff evolves into shiny Dusk form Lycanroc.Shiny Rockruff differs from regular Rockruff in the fact that it has yellow eyes instead of blue, and its body is blue instead of brown.Shiny Dusk form Lycanroc is a deep blue instead of the usual orange sunset.Although not featured in the video, Shiny High Noon Lycanroc is a dusty blue instead of brown and keeps shiny Rockruff's yellow eyes. Shiny Chansey 31+ Chain + Shiny Charm Pokemon Lets Go Eevee 11-28-19 GekkouKitsune 2019-11-06 | This one is my 3rd Pokemon Let's Go shiny, and one I deliberately hunted. They tend to pop up randomly for people who are chaining other Pokemon, but this one I meant to go for Chansey. I have always enjoyed the green coloring. This took a long time across several days because I had to be careful or else they would run.Pro tip: If you press B as they run quick enough, you can run before they do, keeping your chain alive.I kept catching the regular Chansey, because after certain increments of total Pokemon specie caught, that Pokemon will be easier to catch. So it went from like Super Hard to Hard to Normal, and then with berries it makes it green and easy. Catching and playing is hard in this game cause I had to hold the camera AND aim one handed lol.But hey, I got it. As of this upload, this is the last shiny I caught in Pokemon Let's Go. The way it works in that game just isn't my cup of tea. The randomness of how what species of shiny shows up really turns me off, because there's no way I could just let a shiny disappear. So if I had to catch one that is a different species than what I'm chaining, it'll break the chain and I'd have to start all over again. Higher the chain, the better the IVs, and you can force a nature too (albeit repeatedly which can get expensive the longer it takes to get the shiny to spawn,) but I'd rather just hatch or SOS. So I'm keeping my main game UltraSun.Spoiler alert: I'm getting Pokemon Shield. I'll have to build a brand new team specific for that game though. We'll see how that works out.
Shiny Machop 31+ Onix Chain Pokemon Lets Go Eevee 11-20-18 GekkouKitsune 2019-11-04 | tfw you realize you encounter your 2nd shiny Machop in nearly the exact same way you did your 1st back in Pokemon FireRed: Back then I was doing random encounters trying to get a shiny Onix but it was in Victory Road, not Rock Tunnel. Even so, the outcome was the same: I encountered shiny Machop instead, and they both have the worst nature possible lmaoooThis was my second shiny in Pokemon Let's Go. Maybe I'll go back and try again in the future. Maybe. I don't like how just any Pokemon can be shiny regardless of what you're chaining. I want my target shiny, not a Zubat or Machop! So that's why I haven't been keen on shiny hunting in this game. Obtaining the Shiny Charm in Pokemon Lets Go! Pikachu & Eevee GekkouKitsune 2019-10-29 | A quick video I made when I got the Shiny Charm in Let's Go Eevee! Meet my starter Eevee, Eden!Filling a PokeDex that only has 150 Pokemon in it seems so easy today, but I remember back in Red & Blue it seemed awfully hard! I remember many trips back to the Safari Zone to catch Kangaskhan, Chansey, and Tauros! But today you even have Pokemon GO to transfer Pokemon from, so it is very easy to get some of the exclusives like Oddish.Once you've caught'em all, go visit Prof. Oak! He will give you the Shiny Charm which increases the rate that shiny Pokemon will appear. To be honest I was a bit disappointed as he did not have much to say. I also pay a visit to the GAME FREAK office in Celadon City to get that sweet certificate! ... and a FRESH WATER!This was before I got my direct feed recording device, otherwise everything would look much nicer.

Shiny Riolu Evolves into Shiny Lucario & Shiny Mega Lucario Pokemon UltraSun GekkouKitsune 2019-10-24 | Shiny Riolu Evolves into Shiny Lucario & Shiny Mega Lucario Pokemon UltraSunRiolu will evolve into Lucario at any level, as long as it is at a certain Happiness threshold. This can be attained many different ways. In fact, I'm preparing a video featuring this Pokemon with the many different ways of increasing Happiness, but with focus on the fastest methods. The easiest way, though, is to use the EV reducing berries. The ones that say "Makes Pokemon (friendlier) but lowers/reduces (stat.)" Use the Pelago to farm a bunch of them then force feed that sucker until it won't eat anymore, then pop a Rare Candy. Boom, instant Lucario (as long as it's currently daytime; it won't evolve at night!)Then slap a Lucarionite on that sucker and Mega evolve it in battle! In Sun, Moon, UltraSun, and UltraMoon, the stones are at the Battle Tree and cost Battle Points to get. I farm mine from PokeBank.Shiny Riolu and Shiny Lucario are both yellow with teal/dark green coloring, while the normal colors everyone's familiar with are blue and black.I'm really glad to be able to add this one to my roster.

I don't need any lawsuits!I didn't realize it until I was editing them but the previous hatched shiny (Mudbray) and this one (Riolu) came on nearly the same egg (149 and 150!)It was a toss up between this guy and another Alola Pokemon for my next target. I needed a great, all around Pokemon and this one has been on my list since about 5th Gen I think? Lucario was my #1 ingame Pokemon back in 4th Gen, so I'm kind of attached to it. Aura Sphere, Dragon Pulse, Dark Pulse, and ExtremeSpeed... so versatile! But let's get back on topic.Shiny Riolu is yellow and dark green/teal instead of the usual blue & black. The toe beans are also a neat blue color.It would be nearly a year before I came back to UltraSun to hatch for the aforementioned Alola Pokemon...Looking forward to direct capture of Sword & Shield. No more crappy cell phone videos then!

So when I was rounding up Alola Pokemon that I was going to try and get as shinies, this one was near the top of the list even though it is rather unremarkable.Shiny Mudbray has a blue-ish mane and is orange instead of brown.Why does it sound like a goat?
Shiny Abra Evolves into Kadabra and Alakazam Pokemon UltraSun UltraMoon GekkouKitsune 2019-10-23 | Apologies in advance, somehow the last part of the video ended up a bit crooked.Abra evolves into Kadabra starting at Level 16. Until then, the only move it will naturally know is Teleport. It's a lot easier to use it now than it was back in the day due to the abundance of TMs, tutors, and the introduction of Egg Moves. And back in 2nd Gen you could teach it all three elemental punches which still counted as special attacks. So this guy has been a beast since day one. Not nearly as hard to get it to Level 16 as it is for Magikarp to get to Level 20 for Gyarados.Once it becomes Kadabra, it'll start learning moves like Kinesis, Confusion, Psybeam, and Recover. But if you have a friend, you may want to go ahead an give it another power boost.Kadabra evolves into Alakazam by trade evolution. You don't even have to be at a specific level or have a specific item. Just grab a friend and trade back and forth, or ask for a Kadabra on the GTS. Unless it is holding an Everstone, it should evolve when it finishes trading. Unlike other special evolutions, Alakazam will continue learning the same moves Kadabra would, so unless you can't trade or really like Yuri Geller there's really no reason to put off the final evolution of this line.If you're playing Pokemon XY, OmegaRuby, AlphaSapphire, Sun, Moon, UltraSun, UltraMoon, Let's Go Pikachu, or Let's Go Eevee, you can take it a step further by letting it hold a Mega Stone called Alakazite. This will allow Alakazam to Mega Evolve into Mega Alakazam during battle for yet another insane power boost. But Alakazam has been good on its own too since Day 1, and I doubt that is going to change anytime soon. It has always been a reliable Pokemon.Shiny Abra doesn't look much different than regular Abra, except maybe one covered in baking flour.Shiny Kadabra is the same way, just a lighter color.Shiny Alakazam finally looks a bit different, with a brighter pink/purple color for its "armor" bits compared to the brown regular Alakazam has.Shiny Mega Alakazam takes note from this and seems to be even brighter in regards to the pink purple hues. The yellow part is similar to Shiny Abra.

Shiny Abra Hatches Via Masuda Method Egg 66 on 09/26/18 Pokemon Ultra Sun GekkouKitsune 2019-09-23 | Oh man, nearly a year after I hatched this one I am finally uploading the video LOLAnother lucky hatch, after 147 eggs for shiny Drampa, I got my shiny Abra in only 66 eggs!I thought my eyes were playing tricks on me, so I hatched the 2nd to show what a normal one looks like, and compared them in the PokeDex. Shiny Abra is a lighter color than normal Abra, and has a purple tint to its body armor. It becomes more evident when it evolves into Alakazam, which has a more prominent purple.No silly video antics in this one, sorry. :(

Exhaust was coming out but it wasn't my doing: my gas wasn't doing anything, all that was working was the camera, UNTIL the race started which was when I couldn't do anything. Glitch Wobble - Still Won! CTRNF Crash™ Team Racing Nitro-Fueled Online GekkouKitsune 2019-07-19 | Racing online in the worst lobby ever for getting screwed by items, I got squished by someone's Turbo item right as I took the big jump in Hot Air Skyway. When i got back on track, my car had a wobble like a Red Beaker/Potion item or Time Clock... but it never went away!! Just to add to my frustration, not getting hit or falling off didn't solve it. I changed to the speedometer to see if it affected my speed... I didn't think I would make the big jump on the final lap, but did, and kept my USF until I got the lead - and kept it thanks to my knowledge of the shortcut.Regardless, I need a break after that... Shiny Drampa Hatches Egg 147 with Masuda Method (with Charm) GekkouKitsune 2019-02-04 | One day after hatching shiny Minior, I finally got a bone thrown my way. On 09/22/18 I hatched a shiny Drampa on egg 147.... Actually, I had started hatching it on Sun before moving it to UltraSun. On the new game it only took 12 eggs! (The entire total was 147 eggs)I was so happy to finally hatch my own grand dad.
Shiny Minior Hatches Egg 490 Masuda Method (with Charm) 09/21/18 GekkouKitsune 2019-01-17 | Oh hey actual new videos for once, sort of. We're almost caught up!Shiny Minior is so cool. It's one of the few Pokemon you cannot SOS Chain (that's where the Pokemon calls for help and what Adrenaline Orbs are for) so you have to hatch it or encounter it in the wild at usual odds.Shiny Minior is black instead of any of the other colors regular Minior can be (Yellow, Red, Blue, Indigo, Green, Orange, or Violet, like the rainbow) but has little bits of all the colors inside it. It's insane. It also reminds me of Necrozma's colors so it makes me wonder if this is a reference to Necrozma with the whole prism thing.Another thing is if you're breeding Minior (which can only be done with a Minior and a Ditto because they're genderless, like Magnemite) the babies will always be the same color as the parent Minior (excluding shininess.) The shiny form probably has a value of what color it should be if it wasn't shiny, so if you were to e.g. breed this one the offspring would be Yellow. I was actually disappointed that the offspring weren't all different colors so I could have max IV versions of all the colors, but nah fam we only givin you Yellow. I also wish Minior went into battle in Meteorite Form instead of changing from Core form into Meteorite Form, just for that added effect of showing off the shiny Core form when the Shields go Down.For some reason I could only think of that one particular moment in that one particular movie, especially since Minior can use Explosion...I should have uploaded this on Christmas... lol.Ride On Shooting StarMinior does not evolve into or from any known Pokemon. GekkouKitsune 2018-12-15 | Shiny Grubbin Evolves into Shiny Charjabug & Shiny Vikavolt!An old video but never uploaded until now, I evolve the shiny Grubbin that took me around 1,600 eggs to hatch.Grubbin evolves into Charjabug starting at Level 20. Charjabug will evolve into Vikavolt at any level when leveling it up in Blush Mountain or Vast Poni Canyon. Unfortunately this means you will get your Vikavolt very late-game if you are using it on your team, but it is well worth the wait as it packs a stout punch.Shiny Grubbin has deep red coloring instead of the yellow-orange regular Grubbin.Shiny Charjabug is a vibrant red instead of the usual green. This Pokemon was featured in the Pokemon Sun & Moon anime, where they raced in cars!!Shiny Vikavolt is a sight to behold. Instead of dark blue, yellow, and orange, the shiny form is a silver color with red and green.
