The offshore wind industry has now approached the government seeking a 250% increase in prices as well as demands to abandon the normal auction process. This is against a background of steeply rising costs for both onshore and offshore wind turbines with turbine manufactures such as Siemens reeling from a one billion Euro loss from their turbine manufacturing.Yoiu will hear that we lead the world in offshore wind energy and that is true but it has failed hence the net result is that we lead the world in a failed industry that is now, to coin a phrase, dead in the water.This video deals with the background story so anyone can appreciate the current situation with the stream of lies you are being told. Stop this Wind and Solar Farm Deception Now Climate Realism by Paul Burgess 2023-07-12 | The wind and Solar farm industry is deceiving the public when they quote the number of homes they can supply. They use official Ofgem figures for the average home but that figure assumes 80%+ of the energy for the home comes from gas. The figures are 2.9 Mwh a year needed for electricity by 12 Mwh a year needed for gas. Total 14.9Mwh per year for an average home. Yet the solar and wind farms take just the 2,9 Mwh a year when calculating how many homes leaving 80% of the energy to be supplied by gas!So if they claim say 10,000 homes supplied - it should be qualified with 'providing 80% of their energy coming from gas! This short video explains how you are being misled.We should stop this deception now so please share this video with your MP and councillors plus the media to at least stop this absurd deception. It was pointed out in a comment. The cost £3 trillion, 600 Billion.I was out by 1000 times!! However it does not change the fact that the cost of a battery to get through just this one occasion is bigger than the UK economy and it would have to be repeated every 20 years or so.In addition there are not there resources in the world to build such batteries and the costs would explode if anything like the demand for one such battery was placed on the system. Today the biggest battery in the world is 1.6 GWh, in my example we needed 7,200 GWh.
