I actually was supposed to join a mini tournament back in December. Unfortunately, I was hit with a high fever on the day that I was supposed to do a practice run, and in order for me to recover, I had to forfeit my participation. I was fine with it, and I almost immediately recovered from my fever by nighttime, and I thought I could still go to the event as a spectator so that I wouldn't be hit with a "binat" (our term for getting hit by the same sickness days or hours after you just recovered from it, usually often associated with fever). Again, on the day of the tournament, I couldn't go, because my fever suddenly returned. I was a bit sad because of it, and due to my fever, I had to take a break from playing Pump It Up for the rest of December and January. I actually was planning on returning in February, until an event that I can't fully describe in detail happened in the mall where I currently play Pump It Up, and it led me to temporarily stay away from the mall because of it. I made a community post about it back in February though, so you can just look up that post in my channel and read it there. As for the month of March (last month), I didn't get enough sleep most of the time due to the heat wave once again here in Southeast Asia, and worst part is that all three air conditioners in our house were (still are) busted, so me and my family had to endure the heat most of the time until at least afternoon, because for some reason in my city, it's always cloudy in the afternoon, shielding us from the heatwave. It was only today (April 23, 2025 as of typing this) that I managed to find a suitable schedule to play Pump It Up once again, because I had at least 7 hours of sleep the night before, and I was in a good mood too because I also recently renewed my Civil Engineering license, which is one less baggage for me to think about. I chose this song because the last time I recorded and uploaded a video of this, the song didn't have a bga until several updates later (I also misnamed it as Tropicana in that video, but I'm too lazy to edit it so I'll leave it at that). The second and main reason as to why this track again is because it's Summer Season here in most of Southeast Asia. To anyone living in Southeast Asia, stay safe and always drink water to avoid getting heat stroke. The arcade's management was forced to lower the machine's volume due to workers below this arcade's floor complaining that the volume of the game was so loud that they could hear it while working. Can't be helped since the machine has been malfunctioning with the treble volume suddenly increasing in the middle of the game to the point of hurting my ears (previous sessions).Ever since Millie Parfait released her cover of Setsuna Trip during Ethyria's Anniversary last October 9, I've been itching to retry this song as my own celebration of their anniversary. For an SS rating, you should only get Perfects and Greats, nothing more, nothing less. I say supposed because people who love reading Greek Mythology already know who Heracles's actual father is: Zeus. They also know that Zeus couldn't keep it in his pants. In a nutshell, Amphitryon was cucked by the king of the gods while he was away. I'm not sure if twins having different fathers is possible, so to all experts there, please answer in the comment section.If you don't know who Heracles is, that's the real name of the demi-god who is always misnamed as Hercules. Hercules is the Roman counterpart to Heracles, and I bet I know the reason why a lot have mistaken Heracles for Hercules.I think I just realized something. I don't think I can do Levels S18 and above anymore. I was still starting when I recorded this and I immediately l lost my stamina when the stage was about to end, hence the Broken A grade. Yassi Pressman - Lala (Exhausted Rabbit Edition, Level: D16) KYOUSHA 2021-06-06 | I want to be frank here: I am not a fan of OPM (with the exception of some Filipino bands), but that didn't stop me from playing and recording this chart (because I like this chart as I found it challenging and fun), but while I did say that I'm not a fan of OPM, I like this song's tune, but I still find the lyrics of this song cheesy, especially the repeating chorus line, which when translated into English, means "I'm sick of your drama, so I'm not gonna listen to you anymore." I find it ironic because the first line you'll hear of this song is "paulit-ulit" which literally just means "repeating."One of the reasons why I do not enjoy listening to OPM is because a lot of contemporary Filipino artists tend to resort to covering classic songs of both Foreign and Filipino origins, heck, they'll even make Tagalog version of some foreign songs, which actually happened in the 90s and early 2000s, where Filipino songs that became famous in that era were actually Japanese of origin. One famous example is Rodel Naval's "Lumayo Ka Man Sa Akin" (my rough translation is "Even If You Walk Away From Me") which actually came from Mariya Takeuchi's "Single Again." Another reason for me not to enjoy OPM is the artists' reliance on romantic themes (not the song in this video, though). Most Filipino songs that became famous are mostly love songs, or songs about heartbreak and I'm sick of them, to be honest.I might change my stance on OPM as I found a lot of songs from mid to late 2010s such as Tanya Markova's "Iglap" enjoyable. The lockdown is supposed to be for only 2 weeks but I don't buy that since I remember the lockdown a year ago that lasted for months due to extension. A few hours before this, I recieved a notification from our local Pump It Up community that the arcade would close its doors again due to lockdown. I was only asleep for around 5 hours when I saw the notification in our groupchat but I still decided to go to the arcade before the closure a day after this recording.I was excited when I got to play the full version of this song months after it was released in an update, considering the update was released when lockdowns were imposed nationwide, forcing the arcades to close. This is my 2nd attempt to play this as my first attempt (which happened on the day the arcade reopened) was disastrous to say the least. I couldn't finish my first attempt due to the face mask I was wearing.The reason why I got a Grey A on this is because of low stamina caused by lack of sleep.
